I called every dental office's after hours line and I either got no answer or the response, "I didn't do the original work so I can't help you." The next morning I kept calling and no one would help me. Finally, Dr. Ainza not only answered but canceled his plans to see me. He was professional, compassionate, and made sure I left his office with the greatest possible outcome. His assistant Sapphire, also pausing her Saturday morning, was amazing! His Staff are not very good fluent on English language and are…read morenot too "bright" by that I mean they don't know insurance questions and are not willing to check the insurance for you. No Privacy I was embarrassed in asking questions to staff through a window and have the people in waiting room hear all my questions. The Dentist seems suspicious of you and asks questions to probably add money making deals with your dental work. His office is only open on a few days a week. He offers a procedure not covered in the insurance schedule involving irrigating your gums with a syringe with hydrogen peroxide ( a practice not recommended by the ADA since 1980) for $50 additional charge. His staff could not explain my co-pay through a simple check with my insurance or knowledge of insurance plans could have helped me better. Although he cleaned my teeth, I felt as though he was not doing a thorough job and only going through the motions and did a minimum effort job. My teeth did not feel clean as they have with other dentists or hygienists.

The dental assistant who took my x-rays was very nice and polite; she would apologize to me because she could tell I was in pain. My husband had a dental issue he needed checked out. His usual dentist is +300 miles away so we needed to find someone local. The building is pretty old when we pulled up which gave my husband some second thoughts. The high rating gave him the courage to go in. You first walk into an entrance to the office and then to the waiting room. They have updated the inside nicely. It is clean and nicely decorated with beautiful pictures and cute seats for their younger patients. The dental exam rooms are also clean but it looks a bit more dated. I'm not sure how updates his actual dental equipment is but I'm sure it handles most problems. My dentist in LA has a 3-D printer so I'm used to a very updated office. However, Doctor Miles is very professional and is able to deal with most dental issues promptly. We only had a small issue but the doctor handled it fast and did a good job. I would recommend Dr. Miles.
