I stopped by Java Jacks 160 on my way back from a relative's house and I'm honestly so glad I did. The coffee was really good and you can tell it's high quality--it felt very natural and organically sourced, not like that over-processed stuff you get at most chains. I ordered the Choco Jack and my friends all got mochas, and everyone was super impressed with their drinks. The service was great too; the staff were really welcoming and made the whole stop easy. The place has a nice, cozy atmosphere that makes it a perfect spot to take a break from the road. Let's just say that we had such a great customer experience here that we returned again the next day. As soon as you walked in, we were greeted by a nice man, sitting in the corner at a table with someone sitting next to him. Within a couple of minutes we were informed that the gentleman was the owner Jack, and sitting next to him, was the mayor of Isleton having her coffee. My family and I decided to sit inside and enjoy our drink choices and our breakfast choices. They have some very unique coffee flavors alongside some good bagel breakfast sandwich, or croissant sandwich options or even just muffins. Finally got to try it!!! I have been waiting to come here and finally got the chance today and I am so glad I did. This former abandoned gas station is now Java Jacks, drive through coffee shop in Isleton, CA. They host car shows, support community events, and serve up some pretty good Java. This week, I am in a wheelchair. I have come to the conclusion that 1.) I take my legs for granted and 2,) many places are NOT equipped to have proper ADA compliance. When I rolled up to Jacks the employee opened the door for me and helped me with my card purchase. When I went to the restroom, the lady barista helped me with ghat door. I certainly could have done it myself but I really appreciate the help guys. (FYI the restroom was perfectly ADA compliant and was very easy to use.) They also welcomed my dog and gave him a pup cup, thank you so much!! The cafe has amazing decor- it's so so so cool. Old signs and nostalgia flock the walls. Not too much where you wonder if it's dusty but enough to discover a new favorite sign each time. There's indoor and outdoor seating. Very clean and neat. I ordered a large americano iced $2.95 and added half n half and sugar free white chocolate and sugar free caramel flavors. I am so impressed with their sugar free selection! 10/10 experience. Would love to come back, especially when I'm all healed and the wheels I roll in on are the ones on my Sportster and not the wheelchair. read more

My first impression of Java Jacks was based on a sign that was hanging in the front door that read "public restrooms available, all are welcome to use". I'm paraphrasing the sign but the meaning was the value. I knew when I saw that the people inside were going to care about people. I love that about Java Jacks because that is exactly what I experienced. I wasn't there very long but everyone was great and I am a little bummed they didn't have any cold brew however, they made me another drink that was superb. Super cute spot! We grabbed coffee here in our way camping. The signs were what caught our attention as we were approaching Isleton. 10/10 for the drinks and service. I Love this cute little Retro Coffee Bistro. It's so much fun! I pass by here nearly every Saturday, while driving down the River Roads of Hwy 160! Sometimes I stop and grab a drink on the way. They always have great drinks, food, and very friendly service! Last Saturday I decided to come in, and had the honor of meeting both owners. Jack Sr and Jack Jr..Discovered this is a small Family and Veteran owned business. That business taking a hit with all the recent road and bridge construction on Hwy 160. ...thus having to trim back their staff and their hours. Despite this, the service, drinks and food have remained outstanding! I highly recommend them! Also, if you have a group activity or club they are available to book your event .(Check them out on Facebook) . I've seen Girl Scouts out there many times, Retro/Classic Car shows, etc. It's such a great spot for a meet up! Way cooler than Starbucks! And well worth the drive down the country River back roads on Hwy 160 on your way to your destination to grab some good drinks and eats and chill! Come check them out!!! We stopped by this spot passing through the town. The frappuccino's are actually pretty good and has a good coffee kick. Typically I dislike ordering frappuccino's because you could barely taste any coffee in it but this was good. The place was a gas station converted into a drive thru coffee spot and it came out pretty cute. It was super hot that day and didn't feel one bit of air inside was the only downside. read more

Great Staff, Good Coffee, location is perfect for people passing through and for towns folk heading out. They have a bathroom they are more than happy for you to stop and use if needed, Jacks clearly invested in this shop and has lots of memorabilia on the walls. I usually get the Tuxedo Mocha with extra espresso shots and it's one of the better tuxedos I've had. It's never to sweet and never to bitter. If i could afford to buy a coffee every morning i would always stop at Jacks before heading to work. The pricing is fair, much better than most coffee shops, definitely better than the human bean! Cutest coffee shop drive thru I've ever seen. We had to stop!! Did I mention the prices making the stop guilt free? We got an iced honey latte with cold foam on top!! YES!! Cold foam!! Not everywhere makes cold foam. The staff was super friendly and didn't allow us to drive off until making sure the coffee was to our liking. Boy!! Was it yummy iced coffee. This much needed coffee stop in this area is a welcomed sight. Seems like the owner and staff really want to provide a great customer experience shown by their friendliness and efficiency. I finally had a chance to try it and my only negative feedback is for their scarce and not high quality food items, specifically their morning pastries. Most looked like they were bought at Costco! If not, there was not much of a selection and what I did purchased was stale. Not sure if they bake anything or buy wholesale but my recommendation would be to find a high end baker in the area to up their game on food selection! read more

It was my first time visiting this coffee shop. Isleton doesn't have much in the country but it is definitely necessary to have a coffee shop and a good one at that. This coffee shop has been open a few months and serves great iced coffee drinks. I met Jack the owner at the register and he was so very nice. All employees (2 girls and 1 boy) I met were so nice and attentive to my sweet needs. They recommended I get a caramel macchiato with pumpkin sweet cream. Love loved it! Came back the next day to get another iced drink. I saw Jack and the same employees and they are just so welcoming and kind. The coffee shop itself gives old gas station remodeled vibes with a twist of interstate 160. Great theme for the coffee shop. This is a new coffee place in Isleton and it's pretty good. The staff is a little green but they make up for it by being friendly and eager to do a good job. The coffee is excellent as are the mochas, lattees, and the chai drinks. They serve pastries and breakfast sandwiches too. It's right on hwy 160 next to Manny's Pizzeria. I hope everyone that passes this place on the way to work or whatever will give this place a chance. It's not a Starbucks or some other fancy place, but it's a cool place to get your morning fix without having to go out of your way. I work as an Alhambra Water delivery driver. Isleton is the remote part of my route, which I've had for five years. I should have tried this place much sooner, but yesterday, of all days, I decided to give it a try. My first trip won't be my last. The burritos are about the perfect size. Small enough that you don't find yourself hungry afterward but not so ginormous that you take any with you. The staff couldn't be more friendly.
