Very poor customer service. The entire experience would have been positive if your company did not try to be one and done and leave carpets at our home damaged from your steam cleaning and neglect to rectify it. All you had to do is make a phone call to repair what you damaged. Going forward we could have been a new customer. Nichole clearly stated we are not a customer and our complaint about our unraveled carpet needed to go through the "customer" - Octagon and she hung up. Very poor. There was no "how can we fix this", "how can we rectify this", "how can we help". Instead you chose to argue and were not professional at all. Moderne may have been around for 75 years but you are not the original owners and you need to take a class in customer/consumer service and etiquette. I did work in a Disaster Restoration Firm and Carpet Cleaning Firm for 22 years, got the wrath of unhappy customers a lot but I did not lose my cool and listened. I would help to rectify the situation when they arose, "put the fire out" and gain trust and respect that they would give a great review and believe what I said was true.. I sent the Living room area carpet back with your technicians because you damaged it. It had minor wear on an edge but it was NOT unraveled. I merely told your technicians point blank "What is this and why would you deliver a damaged carpet that was not like this when you picked it up?" I did not holler at them but merely said I am not accepting this, take it back and fix it. It was the same tech that picked it up. When picked up we had it rolled up in our garage to prevent less tracking and construction dust. When he returned it he said "Well you had a water damage". Yes we had a huge water damage but the carpet never got wet. It was cleaned because of tracking and construction dust not because it got wet. Aaron you claimed you had photos of it being damaged, no photos were taken here, I requested what you had for photos and you never sent them along. I have photos and witnesses that know our carpet was not how you tried to deliver it back. You repaired it, I want to say thank you but I am not. You also refused to deliver the carpet back and put it on Octagon to do so. Poor. You also damaged our entry carpet which Octagon took with them on 08-13-2025. A photo was sent in case it needs to be replaced. We rarely use the front door and your steam cleaning unglued the back and one side is compromised/loosened weave. We did have a few smaller carpets that Octagon knew of and if you didn't get that memo. So sorry for the inconvenience. Yes, it was nice for the technicians that picked up our area carpets to help me get the large one out from our dining room table - that I helped lift and move. Again, customer service. We did change the delivery date because we were not home. Was that really an issue? Again, customer service. As much as we were not a "direct" customer we are still a customer. You got bad reviews because you deserve them. I have spoken a lot about how you and your company treated our belongings and how you treated us. You owe us an apology. Terrible customer service, could have sent the truck back out as I was only 20 minutes away but chose to lose a long term client instead. There are better choices, go elsewhere, the bad reviews don't lie.
