They were VERY responsive and were able to get us on their schedule the following day (although we needed to move it out 1 day). Victor Zelensky, our assigned technician, kept me apprised of his progress and arrived shortly thereafter. He was very professional and tolerant of my many questions! I learned quite a bit. Our issues were resolved and he made certain that there weren't others present. The thoroughness was appreciated. It is very refreshing to engage with a service provider that is responsive, professional and courteous. I would recommend Viper without hesitation and will certainly call upon them again, as future needs arise.

I had a great experience with David Taylor Heating & Air from start to finish, and I highly…read morerecommend them. Easton came out to assess the old HVAC system in my 2004 home and gave me an honest quote for the system I wanted. He also made helpful recommendations, and we decided on an 18 SEER American Standard unit and furnace, along with a separate bedroom control panel so we can manage the heating and air independently. About a week later, the team began the installation. It took two days, and Easton was there on the first day to explain the plan. The three-person crew removed the old equipment, installed the new system, and kept me updated along the way. They were respectful, did an excellent job cleaning up, and made the whole process easy. Before they left, the installer showed me how to use the panel and app and helped set up my preferences. A few days later, Easton stopped by to review the work, check that everything was running well, and answer any questions. Leah at the office was also friendly, professional, and quick to help when I came in to pay my deposit and final balance. She answered my questions promptly, registered my warranty, and is submitting the Duke Energy rebate paperwork for me. This is actually my second time using David Taylor. A little over a year ago, they replaced the furnace at my previous home, and I had a great experience then too. That's why I chose them again for this larger project. They're good people who do quality work, and I'd hire them again for any HVAC needs.

I waited as long as I could before turning my AC on this year. I turned it on June 12, later that…read moreday it started making a knocking sound. For a $125.00 service call, I was told the fan was going out and the cost of a new one was $750.00. The technician told my brother the AC unit was old and tired. I knew the unit would need to be replaced at some point. The old unit a 2.5 ton gas pack had been installed October 10, 1997. Almost 30 yrs old, nope they don't make them like that anymore! The knocking had stopped, it was still working and cooling. I knew too that was just a matter of time before it just stopped completely. Not wanting to put a $750 fan in a unit that old, I started looking at places with at least a 4.5 to a 5.0 rating. I am a die hard review reader and review writer, and I check ratings on both Yelp and Google(some times there is a BIG difference between those two places). I got estimates from 3 different places. The crawl space under my house is very low, and both technicians from the other two places could not get under the house, one wasn't too concerned with really checking, and was only going to replace what he could see from the outside looking in(gave me a quote on 6/24/26 for 30 days). The other technician from one of the three places, told me that once they got the old unit removed they would be able to see better, and based on what needed to be done there would be an up charge added to the estimate they had quoted to me(gave me a five day quote, 6/23/26 to 6/29/26). On June 25 Easton Brannan came out to give me an estimate. Easton Brannan was able to get under there and see what was what and give me an estimate. Easton is very nice and friendly, he told me what he saw and explained what needed to be replaced, I told him I was afraid of "critters", he assured me that once finished everything would be sealed up nice and neat,"so no critters could get in, under or around anything"!! Thank you Easton! Installation day was on July 10, 2026 at 9:30 am, the fellas were running a little behind schedule , but when they arrived they introduced them selves as Johnny and Chris, and about how bad traffic was in Easley. They are two friendly, respectful and nice men. They answered any questions that I had, and explained things they were doing. They went to work, took the old unit out, broke and took up the concrete slab that it was sitting on, took out the old return flexible duct line, and replaced the entire return flexible duct line with a new one. Johnny told me the old one had a hole in it, and a lot of the air was going under my house, as well as the heat in the winter. Johnny came in and installed the new thermostat and explained how to use it, turned the gas back on, came in to check that the unit was working correctly for both the air and heat, he did ask me if I wanted the old thermostat(I said no),and left me the batteries to the old one and the instructions for the new one. When they got it installed, Chris did the flashing and Johnny did yard clean up. They finished around 3:00 pm. Nice job Johnny and Chris, thank y'all for being so nice, sealing EVERYTHING UP (so no critters can get in) and installing my new 2.5 ton American Standard system.

I had a previous appointment with another business on Thumbtack to install a ceiling fan, but…read morecancelled it after seeing their 3.5 star rating on Google. Jones Handyman was also on Thumbtack (4.8 rating) and Google with 5.0 rating) I cancelled that appointment(3.5) and scheduled it with Jones Handyman. My sister found Jones Handyman on Thumbtack and wanted him to come check her dryer. She told him that her time was flexible, he never called her back to schedule an appointment. I talked to Chris and told him that I'm a "die hard" review reader and I write reviews. He installed a ceiling fan for me. The old fan was dusty, but there were screws and washers left in the floor as well as on top of the freezer. I turned the fan on and it was making a swishing sound, that is quite aggravating. The only good thing about that is, it's in the laundry room and I can't hear it unless I'm in the laundry room. I called Chris as soon as I noticed this and sent him a video. He said that it was running fine when he left and that my brother had looked at it too. That he didn't know what happened between the time he left and I got home. That was a good question, because no one had been at my house since he had installed the fan. He did say he would come back and check it out. I told him to just let me know when he could get back to check it, the day of installation and the day the fan was making the noise 8/16/23. I sent him a text, and asked him when he could stop by(he hadn't called back) Chris was scheduled to come back on Saturday August 19 at 10 am. I had turned the fan on Friday morning around 7 am and it was making that noise, but when I went to the laundry room later that day it wasn't making a sound. I called Chris back and told him not to come unless he just wanted to come and check it out. He had me to turn it off and change the blade direction to see if it made the noise, it didn't. He told me if I had any problems to call him. I did notice that after being off, when it's first started it still makes a sound, but it goes away after running for a while. On the receipt there is a disclosure that should be posted on thumbtack.
