Jason and his partner, Tasha Cooper, were the perfect realtors for helping me find my first home. They walked me through the process and made the homebuying experience easy to understand. Jason is as good as it gets when it comes to realtors. He was our trusted guide and champion at every step in the process of selling our home and ultimately earned us a selling price in excess of our top target. When working with Jason, you can expect someone who will be patient, direct, and highly responsive. We never had to guess where we were in the process or what we had to do next as Jason kept us in the loop every step of the way and establish a comprehensive game plan. What I loved most was how well he represented our home through his detailed guidance for preparing the home to the amazing photos and videos to show off the best of what the home had to offer. Our experience with Jason Muth and Compass was nothing short of spectacular! I was tasked with selling the only home my sister and I had ever known. Purchased in 1962 it was the first and only home our mother and father ever purchased. Jason was respectful and understanding as he realized how difficult this process was for us. By following every one of his suggestions and directions, we ending up selling the home for almost $400,000 over asking price! We are so grateful for Jason and the way he handled our sales experience. You will not find a better agent to handle your real-estate transactions than Jason Muth! read more

Jason is a standout amongst real estate agents. We have just closed escrow and continue to work well together after the close. That is a mark of an agent who cares about his clients. I've worked with hundreds of agents. Jason worked incredibly hard for his clients and showed an unusual work ethic and professionalism. He not only handled the routine with expertise, he also was very effective at both preempting problems and resolving issues when they arouse. Jason is a competitor. Nevertheless, Silicon Valley is blessed by his work. I appreciate a fierce competitor. read more

There are no words to express how blessed my husband and I feel having met and worked with Jason Muth. He is an honest, professional and genuinely cared and looked out for us and our best interest. He never pressured us into a home and was super attentive and responsive when we called, emailed or sent him a text about a home we were interested in viewing. You can tell he is a person who loves what he does, but is also realistic about getting a home that fits what you want, as well as your budget. Jason was willingly to go above and beyond to help us purchase our dream home. Even when we were about to give up hope in purchasing a house, he reassured us that if we kept our drive and were open to the possibility of still buying a home, than he would do all he could to help us find a home. As first time homebuyers we were nervous and skeptical about finding a realtor who we felt we could trust, but something in our gut said that Jason was a trustworthy person who was going to help us on this journey. I know this all might sound like fluff, but I am not one to leave a review and I am honest to a flaw, so seriously it was our pleasure to work with Jason and my husband and I would highly recommend Jason Muth as your realtor. It is a decision I do not regret and I do not think you will regret either. Did I mention that Jason had cleaners come and clean the home we were buying since the previous owners did not house clean before turning the keys over. Talk about going above and beyond. We will always be grateful for Jason and all he did to make buying our first home such an amazing and seemless experience...even during a pandemic. :-) Thank you Jason. We absolutely love our home and still wake up in disbelief that we were able to stay in Gilroy and live in this beautiful house. read more

We were not familiar with the process of selling and buying. We looked at many homes ourselves but newer felt confident to make a commitment. When we walked in to the open house Jason Muth was in charge of, we felt relaxed immediately. We needed to sell our home before we could buy another home. Jason stood by our side in every aspect of the project. Jason is very knowledgeable and arranged every move for us so we did not feel overwhelmed. He guided us the whole way in a very caring and kind manner. Jason Muth is a man of integrity and trustworthiness, and would not let us buy a home which had problems. He was patient with us during this whole process. We feel blessed to know Jason walked in front of us, as well as had our backs, during this challenging event. We highly recommend Jason Muth, he is a gentleman in every way. Kirsten and Charles Dadis. read more

We are first-time homebuyers. We found Jason along with other realtors from Dave Ramsey's Endorsed Local Provider (ELP) list. We selected Jason as our realtor for several reasons. First, he invested in us by getting to know us and going over the process to ensure we were informed. Second, he knows the neighborhoods we were interested in. (Some Bay Area realtors know of San Jose but are not familiar with the neighborhoods). Third, he is patient, and you feel comfortable, not pressured. During the search, Jason always answered our questions in a timely manner and booked our showings quickly. He was quick at writing offers. Three months into our search, the incredibly rare opportunity to buy the house next door to our family arose, and Jason helped us land it! When we went into contract, he gave us some of the best advice here, and we took it, and we are very happy that we did. (Interesting fact: we closed escrow in 21 days with the hard work of everyone)! Our whole experience with buying our first house was smooth, and the credit for that goes to Jason. We highly recommend him. His advice and support throughout the whole process were invaluable. read more

I highly recommend Jason, he provides the best service one can ever have from a realtor. He is very professional with decades of experience in the valley. He is very responsive and his understanding really shows with the kind of advice and directions that he provided during our months of house search. I can't thank Jason enough for patiently helping us with finding the home that we like after looking/touring at many houses. He listens very carefully and provided honest feedback the entire time. And now that we have moved into this house we realized that all the things that he mentioned are very true and the value of the home is much more than what we paid for. This really shows how much experience and knowledge he has in this area and the current market we are in. What I also liked about Jason was that he was very patient, polite and mild-mannered, he will not pressure you at all. I remember he mentioned that as a home buyer he understands how much stress is involved and as a realtor he will provide all the necessary service to help make the experience much easier. I'm amazed with the fact that he has his team ready to help with the processing of the loan and we got the loan approved in no time at the lowest possible interest rate. Our house needed fumigation and he arranged for this as well at a discounted fee. Great service! I will not hesitate to refer him to anybody and if ever we need a realtor again will absolutely hire Jason again. Thanks so much Jason! read more

When my husband and I decided to purchase a home in 2013, we expected the process to be long and very stressful, especially since we were told by previous agent that inventory was low and that we would probably not find what we were looking for in our preferred location. Luckily, we decided to contacted Jason, who was able to find us a lovely home in only 2 days and got our offer accepted in only a few hours with multiple offers on the table. Needless to say, this made our experience very pleasant and one we will never forget. Jason is clearly an experienced agent who knows the real estate business. He has exceeded our expectation and he has our highest recommendation. Shiba read more

Jason Muth sold our home in San Jose and helped us find a new home in Morgan Hill. Jason was caring, professional and had our best interests at heart. We purchased a property in Fremont Ardenwood area and Jason was our buying agent. It was during the open house that we met Jason and right from the outset we decided go with him. During the entire process Jason was very professional and transparent especially when you are representing both buyer and seller. We knew that there will be multiple offers on the property and Jason was able to help us strike the right price. During the escrow he was in continuous communication with us and the bank and gave us proactive guidance. He kept a pulse on the entire transaction. Once incident was during the closing process where there were delays from the loan agent in completing the paperwork. He stepped in and used his network to escalate matters to the agents' superiors and got everything on track. We totally love our new home, kids are super happy and we completely owe this to Jason. Without him we would have not been able to get this property. Again, Jason a big thank you! read more

I cannot say enough good things about Jason, and I am so happy we chose him as our realtor to buy our first home! From the beginning, Jason was open and quick to respond to our requests to see houses and make offers. In an area where sales are competitive and happen so quickly, Jason's responsiveness to not only submit offers but also calm our nerves was paramount. What I really enjoyed about Jason was his willingness to help us find the right home loans, negotiate a variety of contingencies on various houses, meet with us who work odd work schedules, and see us through the entire buying process. As someone who is extremely financially conservative, Jason helped us navigate the expensive Bay Area in a way that helped me feel comfortable and confident throughout the entire process. I highly recommend Jason! His knowledge, professional behaviors, and friendliness make him an excellent realtor who only wants the best for each individual client and their unique circumstances. We are so happy with our home, but if we ever want to sell or buy again, we will definitely be returning to Jason! read more

Jason sold me a bank owned property in the bay area which has since appreciated not unlike bitcoin. He took time and care to negotiate with bank to minimize my exposure as part of the transaction (terms set by bank however no customary fee assignments). He is professional, honest, personable, experienced with a good support team. He communicates well, commits and delivers on terms and services. I can highly recommend him as a purchasing agent which I have first hand experience with as a buyer. I still have his combo lock which he bequeath to me. read more

I've worked with over a dozen real estate agents in the Bay Area, and Jason really stands out with his local expertise, negotiation skills, and genuine care for his clients. Jason has helped me with 3 purchases and 4 sales in Santa Clara and San Jose in the last year. On the purchases, he was able to use his vast network to land me great deals, and make sure the terms are favorable to me. On the sales, Jason helped me come up with the most efficient renovation plan to get top dollars. He had extensive marketing campaigns set up to increase the exposure of my houses. On one of the sales, he managed to get 8 offers even in this softening market and sold the house $185k over asking price! Jason is always quick to respond even when he is on vacation, and he goes out of his way to make sure he does the best work possible for his clients. Jason is also not just your agent, but a local real estate expert who is generous enough to give you housing advice when you need it. read more

Jason helped me buy my first home and subsequently helped me sell it. He provided a full service and was amazing to work with. He often went above and beyond what I would have considered the role of a realtor. In my case he helped coordinated gardeners, painters and repair work during the pandemic allowing me to focus on something other than getting the house prepped for sale. I cannot give a more glowing recommendation. I would use Jason for all my home purchases and sales if I could! read more

In this crazy, fast, competitive market Jason was able to help me get the home I wanted in only two offers! He was able to negotiate a good price and I couldn't be happier! Jason is very knowledgeable of the bay area market and he works hard. The first day that I met Jason, I was in his office until 9:30 on a Saturday night after a day of house hunting. If you are a busy professional relocating to Silicon Valley, do yourself and your stress level a favor and call Jason Muth. A native son of San Jose, Jason knows and understands this valley and this market. We flew in from LA for four days to start searching for a home... turned out, we didn't need to be here that long! Jason had communicated with us so effectively by email that he understood our needs, preferences, budget and taste. He spent two full days with us and we found the home we wanted. Unfortunately, about twenty other buyers wanted it as well. He worked into the night preparing our offer and we followed his advice on bidding, earnest money, and contingencies.Jason is a natural born negotiator and talked the seller into accepting only six thousand dollars over the asking price, and dealing with our VA loan. Our offer was accepted in less than 24 hours. We headed back to LA and Jason handled all of the appraisals and inspections, and supervised the repair work. Jason has our highest recommendation. Give him a call and start packing... you'll be home soon. read more

My wife and I were looking to buy a property in the Los Gatos / Cambrian / Campbell area and had been in the market for about 6 months. We came across a property we liked and it was listed by Jason. We talked to him about representing us (buyers) along with the sellers, and it was not an issue for his company or him. From the outset, we were comfortable working with Jason, even though he was representing both sides. He was candid enough to give us the insights into the specific property and also guide us on the neighborhood and the city. Even before the offer due date, Jason asked us to brace ourselves for a bidding war, and recommended strategies for us to employ to make our offer more attractive. One of the strategies was to use a local lender (we were preapproved by one of those dotcoms earlier). He not only got us a tiger of a lender (Sara Tehrani, who we've reviewed separately) but also made sure that we were on top of our game when it came to getting all the documents in order. As expected, there was a bidding war for the property. All throughout the day or so that the process went, Jason kept us updated on what the latest was, and what we were up against. In the end, we ended up paying about 15% more than asking in oder to get the house we wanted, but more importantly, the final price was within 1% of what Jason had suggested the house would sell for. Our relationship with Jason did not end when the sale was consummated. He's kept in touch and made sure that we were getting to enjoy the property. He's been advising us on the property tax deadlines and making sure we are on top of it. In addition, he's gone back to the seller a couple times to get things fixed, even though we bought the house after waiving all contingencies. That talks volumes about his dedication to his clients. All in all, we got this house we love courtesy Jason, and would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a buyers or a sellers agent read more
