The rental property was managed by San Carlos Agency. I wanted to show off my skills I realized it was a really clean looking unit from the outside with new exterior paint. It was a really thick paint job. As i was bringing up all my equipment i just couldn't help but i was looking for any flaws and i just couldn't find any. I mean who ever painted it did a fantastic job. It was a nice job. It takes 9 trips to get all my gear up stairs and each trip i made i couldn't find a flaw. It was the cleanest paint job ive seen in carmel by the sea. I had been here before about 4 years ago when it was beige it was dull and dinge With that in mind i knew i really had to pull off this carpet cleaning job. It was only 2 rooms and it took 3 hours . As i was letting the carpet solution dwell i took a look around for a worker and asked who painted it. Thats when i introduced myself and met this painter named Jake. He was working on a unit down the hall and i spoke to him and was really impressed with how professional he was. He protected the wood floor inside with a thick moving blanket. He definitely had a deep domain in expertise. San Carlos Agency has an excellent reputation as well. Ive seen multiple painters but he was the only worker i saw. He wasnt rushing - he had integrity- his work station was clean- he was very organized and you just dont see that much - he was talking too the home owner and i heard him say that he painted the whole outside. I pay attention as a professional cleaner always looking for ways too beter my business. He was really organized and i didn't ask him how long hed been a painter. But i admired his demeanor. Most painters are sloppy and take short cuts use the wrong tape and generally have no integrity because its not theres - he was a pleasure to talk too - A Great listener not in a rush i could tell he valued his profession And made it look so easy. I admired that - he totally knew what he was doin and thats bad ass. There was paint all over the apt i was cleaning and making my job harder than it needed to be 14 cigarette burns that i repaired dog Urine - impressions from the bed frame- paint on the stairs and hard wood floors - and more paint along the base boards where they didn't protect the carpet. I asked him if he had painted number 28. He was like no. Jake got down single handedly like i said earlier took me 3 hrs to clean this apt. Hes patience with no errors showed some serious craftsmanship 5 stars for enhancing this huge complex. I took his number so i can pass Davi Construction to other customers looking for FOR high quality skilled painters. The door he painted was perfect as i was very impressed Just super clean. I haven't seen this level of painting here in town in quite some time. My job came out super and its always a pleasure to do work for San carlos AGency . We complemented each other it was a great experience cuz we both do stellar work - it was nice to see someone take as much pride as i do in there work ethic. Real professionals at work

The only problem was the home had previously been a rental and it was put on the market in the middle of being "refreshed for renters. So, no door hardware, no lights, no flooring, and no paint! We had a one week window between fumigation and move-in that we needed to squeeze new paint and flooring into. RC Painting was responsive to our messages, discussed the project and immediately understood our goals, and proposed a fair price for work that wasn't trying to oversell us. We set up a day for him to come look over my home and list of things that I needed installed and fixed. Randy gave me a super reasonable rate per hour and we set up far for him to return and work. The day of the job (I was late) he was ready to start and quick to finish the first project. I had a list of about a dozen things. Everything from installing a range hood, rewiring switches, fixing vent fans, doors, windows, toilets..... The list goes on. He finished everything and the sun was still shining. He even noticed that I was missing a few rails on my porch, found them, and secured them back in place. It wasn't my list but he did it anyway. Nice. I have to say that Randy is honest, hard working and very thorough. He works very clean and is very knowledgeable about almost every part of a home. Even mobile homes. I will not hesitate to call him if I need any handyman service in the future. You shouldn't either. If you've got something that needs a handyman's attention, he's the guy! Oscar has helped us with design ideas and has performed work transforming a concrete slab and dirt backyard into a beautiful outdoor patio with pavers and a bbq kitchen, pergolas, fire pit, terraced planters, and French drains. He completed several remodeling jobs for us, built a new retainer wall the length of the driveway and back. STAY AWAY!! I should…read morehave payed better attention to the red flags. Would not give us a written copy of the estimate or any recipets for payments when asked. Asked for a deposit and immediately cashed the check. Oscar guys work is very sloppy, inability to follow install instructions and plans have led to some issues with my kitchen remodel. He didn't communicate with the tile company for delivery of the material which caused a delay, pretty much stopping working for 2 weeks. After spending alot of money on cabinets instead of using a hole saw to cut holes for plumbing they made jagged lopped sided holes. When they were cutting the base board and crown molding they choose to do it 10 feet from the front door but we're too lazy to close the door so saw dust covered every surface of the house. They layed down construction paper on the floors but what ever tape they used damaged my hard wood floors and now there 2 distinct lines running across the floor. Either didn't read or follow the directions on the dishwasher install so when I went to first use it the kicker board broke off. Said he ordered a replacement and would be back to install along with a cabinet door and has since become a ghost won't return calls or texts. The control panel was broken on the ventilation hood unfortunately didn't see how it was broken but I suspect it was during the unboxing process, careless workers that don't read instructions. He'll get the job done but his quality of work is not good. Would definitely reccomend not using him
