Ms. Martinez is a novice that appears to shy from real cases. Don't let the U of Santa Clara diploma fool you. Her answers left me perplexed. Basically I have been consulting with attorneys for the last 20 years. I finally came to the point where I could move on from DACA to adjust my status. She came up with all the negatives and questioning things that were irrelevant. Additionally she wasn't too familiar with law so I'd have to discredit her claim of "experience". She's seemed lazy and unwilling to want to take cases that may require work. In fact she sent me to pull my own FOIA when I was willing to pay her the $500 she was wanting to charge. Just didn't go through with it since they never returned my call. If she's only taking cases that are a slam dunk you might as well do the paperwork yourself. Don't expect any help here. BTW I went to another attorney that has over 20 years of experience [I knew they were good when they quoted that action that didn't go into law until 1996] that statement alone nullified any "concern" Ms.Martinez had for my case, had she known that she wouldn't have had to question the case and could've saved herself and me time. Long story short- in 6 mos. I received my green card (through that other law firm) and now am 3 yrs away from citizenship. So glad I didn't go back to Ms. Martinez after her consult (thank you for failing to return my calls and not following up. :)
