When my husband and I first met Jared Benson, we were attending an open house that he was hosting. The house we were in had been remodeled and was nice, but it did not have many of the things we wanted. He then asked us what we really wanted in a home. I gave him a rather short list at the time because I wrongly guessed that he would not really listen and just wanted a new contact. (This had already happened to us at several open houses.) This was in July or August of 2017. I could not have been more wrong about Jared Benson. He e-mailed us within a day or so of the open house with 2 or 3 houses that met the criteria we had mentioned. After seeing them, we then told him of other things we really wanted. (One was a utility room big enough for a freezer.) He even previewed many of them for us to see if we would even be interested, thus saving us from unnecessary trips. He was always patient. No matter how many times we added another wrinkle to the script, he continued to search for us. He always assured us that "our new home" was out there and that together we would find it. Finally, after several months of looking, we did! This was a house brand new on the market. Jared saw the listing and went to preview it for us. He said that he was excited about it and thought we would be, too. Keep in mind that pictures had not even been taken for this house yet. That's how new it was on the market. But Jared had spotted it right away. We went to see it that day and again the next day and made an offer which was accepted! I think Jared was as happy for us as we were. Jared was an outstanding realtor! We had quite a complicated road to buying our home in Aledo - we are a military family who lived in Italy while searching for a home in the Fort Worth area.
