The plumbers who actually do the work are wonderful - they arrive on time, are friendly, thorough and knowledgeable. Last week, we had a major leak at our water meter. This meant the water needed to be turned off. We called Bradshaw and Son for assistance with the repair. Unbelievably, we were told by whoever it is that answers the phone that he could not "fit us in" for ABOUT TWO WEEKS! We reminded him that we were regular, long-standing customers, but the answer was the same. We pointed out that we had no water coming into the house. NOPE! TOO BUSY! was the answer. Needless to say we will never hire them again. We were torn about writing this review because the workers who come to our house are wonderful. But, whoever answers their phone needs to learn how to prioritize the requests for service he receives. Living without running water for two weeks was not an option. We found a plumber we had never known before. He was 40 miles away, but travelled to our home, diagnosed the problem and repaired it in two hours. It's too bad that Bradshaw's scheduler couldn't or wouldn't do the same.

When we visited after, we noticed a large amount of water sitting in the bottom of the sink cabinet. It had badly warped the cabinet bottom and mildew was growing. When I mentioned this to the scheduler (I took pains to be pleasant about it) and asked for repair, she was very defensive, finally saying the owner would have to call. When he did, he was belligerent, defensive, and accusatory of anyone but his crew. My husband was so agitated he drove the 2.5 hours down to take photos to send to Mr. Byron. We heard nothing back, and finally told him to close our account. We showed the photos to a licensed plumber who told us Byron's had not capped our pipe and that was the source of the water. Byron's did nothing to rectify the situation and showed no urgency to supply good customer service. Would NEVER recommend them.
