As expected from when they first opened. Avoid high salt content foods eg. gyoza as that will make u drink more... therefore inhibits ur ability to fully execute the BMI. A deal like this means something is sacrificed. They run the place like a cattle farm, shipping people in and out on their schedule, doing it how it suits them. We arrived early for our reservation not realising it was a restricted seating time and they made no attempt to accommodate. We weren't even offered drinks while waiting 30mins, and that's just bad business seeing as it's additional revenue. We ordered a lot at the start but loads of things never came at all or we had to repeatedly ask. My drink took 4 requests. They ran out of all but one dessert (pre served and stored ice cream) and when we requested another after the mains were finished it was refused because the kitchen was closed and scooping some ice cream was a burden too much for staff. They weren't rude. They just don't care. A like it or lump it attitude with zero attempt at remotely reasonable customer service. Even the manager has disdain for the people paying his wages. As for the food, it's adequate. It's not bad but it's not good. The salmon sashimi is just barely passable. The beef is low quality. We ate a lot, which is truly the only reason to come. It's not for quality food, a good atmosphere or service. Just shove in as much as you can in your allocated time and you might not begrudge paying your $40/head.

I love a strong and rich Matcha flavour which is hard to find as some other places make it taste weak and bland. We tried a hot Matcha Latte and a hot Matcha chocolate latte. It came out nicely presented (with a meringue biscuit on the side) and tasted quite nice. A touch on the sweet side for me but can definitely taste the matcha flavour. The hot matcha chocolate latte tasted almost the same as the normal matcha latte. Not bad for a local place to enjoy a matcha latte without venturing too far. we came back a second time when it was 30degrees to try the iced version matcha latte. It was enjoyable and refreshing. Serving up a mix of Japanese favourites, from sushi and hand rolls to sit down dinners, the staff are always friendly, and the food that I've had is always great. As a vegetarian, I go for a rotation of the avocado, egg or vegetarian hand rolls. All are fantastic, and up there with the best I've tried. We once had a large group coming over and went to these guys for our catering. They supplied us with an enormous amount of small bite sized hand rolls, and for a great price, we had everybody's belly's happy.
