Great little Korean ("Coreen" in French) restaurant in what appears to be a Japanese part of Paris. It's located on Rue Therese. My wife and I went one night and got there a little early... There were already 4 people lined up waiting to get in! We came back 15 minutes later and they already had 8 people seated... A good sign in my book. Anyway, we ordered the Bibimbap and Bulgogi (12.50€ each, not bad for Paris) along with Tangsooyuk (9€?, I forget). Overall the meal was plenty tasty and sufficient... Definitely expensive compared to what we usually get in LA, but very reasonably priced for Paris. Even the banchan was decent - the kimchi was a little sour (shuh) for my tastes, but not bad. One interesting note: the gotchujang (red pepper paste) had a strong wine taste to it, which I've never had before... It was interesting and fitting for Paris!
The interior was nicely decorated, the staff were nice and fast, and the food was good (portions: Bulgogi and Tangsooyuk were a little on the small side, but the Bibimbap was actually pretty normal). Another note: by the time we finished eating about an hour later, the restaurant had pretty much filled up! I would say this place is a solid 4 stars for food, but given the price, the authenticity, the interior and service, I give it 5 - plus, I was REALLY craving Korean and this place satisfied! read more
