But when I heard that he needs some filling I just wanted to take him to a pediatric dentist and get another opinion and if needed to be taken care off at this office as well. The staff was very nice and friendly from scheduling to helping me out filling out each form. Dr Kwon is amazing with children. I have three boys and this is not the first time I am taking one of my child to a dentist. But I have never met a dentist who is patient and also great in explaining each procedure to the children. She even showed a little YouTube clip to my 6 year to ease some fears he might have before sealing some of the molars. And of course she explained everything in detail to me and checked in if I have any questions. After everything was done. The decision to move my little ones to her was easy. Even though we love our family dentist. I feel Dr Kwon will take great care of my children's dental health and I value her professional opinion and appreciate the great care she provided to our son today. 5 stars all the way!

Dr. KWON is extremely professional. :) When my son first started coming, he was fearful and nervous but everything was explained to him, so that he knew exactly what was going to be done to him.  My son was made to feel comfortable and safe.   I'm extremely thankful for making this experience a pleasant one. Thank U Lucky Kids Dental!!! You all are wonderful! We will definitely be back and will certainly recommend The Dentists For Kids!

Now that we're settled in Texas, I'm thrilled to make this our regular provider. Dr. Schwed has been outstanding in managing my daughter's enamel hypoplasia with preventive treatments, ensuring no complications arise. The quality of care here is unmatched! Dr. Schwed was even able to provide advice outside of his dental practice.

We originally came to him because our youngest was tongue tied. He gave the best educational advice and we actually learned a lot during the process as well. A year and a half later, we are now in the process of moving our oldest child over to Dr. Schwed as well. I live in Allen but there is no hesitation for me to make the drive every time my children need to go to the dentist. Where most dentists would actually just look at a baby's teeth with no cleaning because they're fussy - Dr. Schwed finds ways to earn your kids' trust and get the cleaning done. If is one main characteristic that stands out compared to the many dentists that we see - it is PASSION - and that is why we choose to come here! (1/26/24 Update:) - We've moved my oldest daughter Madison over to Schwed Dentistry today for her 1st visit. I was extremely impressed at how patient and engaged they were with her. Bre and Kait were ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!! and my little one had a blast! I have NEVER SEEN anyone so patient with her and Dr. Schwed's office succeeded where 2 other dental offices have failed her in the past. They were able to take all the xray pictures they need of her teeth successfully and also cleaned all her teeth successfully in the 1st visit. No other dental offices before has been successful in accomplishing just her x-ray pictures in the past. My wife is also happy and this was one of the best decisions we've made for our family. Thank you so much guys. We're here to stay!

She was super anxious, but everyone there helped her overcome her fear. Dr. Pishbin, the dental assistant, and the hygienist were all really gentle while working with my daughter, they explained everything to her so she would know exactly what was going to happen. I explained her situation to them, so they made sure to be extra patient with her and did everything possible to make her feel safe and comfortable. They let me go into the room with her while they were filling a couple of cavities, and being able to have me there with her helped her to be a lot less scared. The whole vibe here was just way less stressful and it means a lot to me how kind they were from start to finish and treated my daughter with tender loving care. Front desk was great too, we were waiting less than 5 minutes after we checked in, but I love that there's a little movie theater in the waiting room for the kids to hang out in while they wait to be called back. 100% I would recommend this office, in fact I actually have recommended it to a few friends already.

We decided to switch to a different dentist after feeling increasingly uncomfortable with our…read moreexperience once Dr. Mila joined the practice. We had been patients of the practice for years under the previous owner and always felt that recommendations were conservative, transparent, and centered on what was truly necessary. After Dr. Mila came on board, we noticed a significant change in the approach to our care. At multiple visits, there seemed to be a much stronger emphasis on recommending additional treatments and procedures that we didn't feel were necessary. While we understand that every dentist has their own philosophy of care, we often left feeling pressured rather than informed. Instead of discussing options and helping us understand whether treatment was truly needed, it felt like there was a push to add more services. For our family, trust and transparency are the most important qualities in a dental provider. We value a conservative approach and want to feel confident that treatment recommendations are based solely on our needs, not on offering more procedures. Because of this, we've decided to move our family to a new dentist who is a better fit for us. It's disappointing because we genuinely loved this practice for many years before the change, and we hope this feedback is received in the constructive spirit it's intended.

I'm a 34 year old mom just getting back into taking care of myself again…read more My first meeting with Dr. Tiner was totally normal and we had a plan in place for a tooth extraction. It's my front tooth and I'm extremely nervous about it. I've had root canals and interior bleaching that felt like pain from hell from years ago so I have been very anxious. I went in for my tooth extraction this morning. I noticed I received a text from Dr. Tiner's office yesterday saying they had prescribed me amoxicillin. That was the only drug listed. I knew the amoxicillin was going to be for after my procedure so I had arranged for my ride to take me by CVS and pick it up on the way home after the procedure. When we showed up today, they asked me where my oral sedation was. The office never explained to me that I was going to have an oral sedation prescription that I needed to have filled and brought with me to the office. Nurses looked in the back and saw that they had some left over from previous patients and they would be able to give it to me so it was not a big deal. At this point, I'm already losing trust in the office. I should've been aware that the oral sedation I was going to have was going to need to be picked up by me beforehand and that was never communicated. I go to the back and have a quick x-ray and another nurse tells Dr. Tiner that I don't have my oral sedation but someone said we had some. Dr. Tiner confirmed. He walked into our area and set the oral sedation on the counter, looked sideways at me, and in a very condescending tone said "I don't usually have these." he then explained how I needed to have brought my own sedation. I told him nobody told me I was going to need to bring my own sedation, I would have filled the prescription before my appointment had I known it was that important and then he still managed to respond in a condescending tone. I told him I was going to be leaving and then I got the spiel about how much he wants to help people. I go out to the front lobby, crying, and another nurse says, please don't worry we have plenty of oral sedation in the back. Dr. Tiner seems to enjoy talking down to women when they are very anxious and scared. He should be ashamed of his behavior this morning.

My mother in law came in today for a visit to get some work done, continuing on per previous work. You were so rude to her. Your snide remarks and snarky attitude were not needed or called for. The comments you made to her were so incredibly out of line, I can't believe you're allowed to interact with patients. Is this how you speak to your own mother or how you would like to be treated when you're PAYING for a service?! I truly hope you receive some training on how to act and how to treat patients. As for the rest of the practice, the least you could've done was honored the discount my mother-in-law has been receiving for her care. Affordable dental work at your practice is impossible so the discount was the way she was able to keep going to get her work done. You should really work on your patient interactions, bedside manner, and ethics. If you're looking for a great dental practice, keep looking. Besides the rude comments and snarky vibes, there's too much drama at this office between the dentist and at least one other member of his staff.
