Homeopathy is just one of Dr. Doyle's areas of expertise, however, as she is trained and licensed as a conventional vet as well. I no longer am willing to subject my companion animals to the palliative and immune-system suppression pharmacological treatments that are typical of veterinarians today. Dr. Doyle is wholistic in her approach, and I appreciate her being there for my animals, even if it means driving an hour each way.

All the cats are very friendly and were super affectionate. There are two floors to spend your time -- the first floor is all adult cats, and also where the gift shop is located. The second floor holds more space to play with the adult cats, as well as a separate, sectioned off kitten room. When we were there, the kitten room was very full of guests, so we stuck to the other areas with the adult cats. The staff was so kind and knowledgable. They will tell you about any of the many cats that are walking around, including their names, personalities, and story. The gift shop proceeds go to keeping the cats there at the rescue, so of course, we bought some small toys to bring home to our cat. It is so admirable to see a group committed to rescuing these beautiful cats!

There are some feline themed gifts for sale, I bought some kitty eared headbands! The cats were adorable and I enjoyed spending some time getting to know their personalities! The cost was $500 just for the cremation, which through a non-emergency vet would be around $200. Because of the holiday I could not transport the body to a vet and so paid up. Then I was shown a folder of memorial urns and items I could buy. I was appalled. Grieving people do not make good choices, but usurious Agape thinks it can make more bucks by playing on our sorrow. But the real horror, after all that, was finding out my cat's cremains were being shipped through the post office--the cheapest way possible and so insulting. sending your pet home on a mail truck. I was able to get the cremains off the truck and to the vet, but for $500 I should have received Fed Ex kid glove treatment. I fault the vet clinic for using this greedy company. I have had other cats cremated and have never experienced such treatment. I just wonder if the ashes I get will be my cat's--some places take videos of their cremations, but I expect Agape has no proof the ashes are whose they say they are. Shame on them.

She is patient and thorough and comes across very passionate about the shelties that she raises! The website is full of adorable and updated puppy pictures, and as breeders they offer lifetime breeder support for pups; my contract stipulates that if ever there comes a time I can no longer care for my sheltie, I am obligated to return her so that Buhrman's can take care of her and find her a new loving home. Can't wait to meet my puppy when she's ready in three weeks! Another great caveat, Misty won't let the pups leave before they've spent 8 full wonderful weeks socializing with their family and the other dogs. Would recommend!
