    6/$18 oysters
    Kathy V.

Food was overall okay. Would not recommend the clam chowder as it tasted very bland and thick, almost as if there was too much flour in the base. We got the half shell oysters (6/$18), which tasted very fresh and clean! My partner and I shared the trio sampler and two tacos on the side. Tacos were okay, not very flavorful. Its main taste came from the sauce and there was not much of it... The sampler plate tasted good overall, but we did feel heavy as everything was fried (our mistake). Service was okay, very minimal. They do have one restroom and a few porta potties if needed! They also have a garden area outside which is very nice if you're willing to dine out there (highly recommend). Overall a good place to stop by if you're craving oysters and a beer.

Fantastic food. Fantastic service. Great ambiance. Huge portions (especially the Seafood Trio and the chicken baskets). Party of six (including two kids) and everyone had a great time. Came after visiting a nearby oyster hatchery while on vacation. Our party had a variety of dishes including clams, oysters, chicken, fish, fish tacos, shrimp, and chowder. Everyone was satisfied (if you bring kids who only want chicken strips, the "Chicken Strip Basket" is huge and enough for two).

Fantastic! So glad we stopped in. The great reviews are right! Excellent oyster shooters. I also had the coastal trio--every bite was delicious. The best fish and chips I've had on the coast. We had the pleasure of meeting the owners. They were gracious, generous, and attentive. Dining in the outdoor courtyard by the greenhouses was an added bonus.

Best baked oysters on grill. These were grilled with bacon, a butter, garlic, and topped with cheese. Similar to oyster Rockefeller. Came with bread, which you do need because it is Rich.

The oysters are IT! Jandy Oyster is super easy to spot off the expressway, shoutout to the team for great signage. Once you're here you're pushed into a quaint, breezy, restaurant/garden/space. They have a lil shop, indoors, and outdoor back patio seating that is kid and dog-friendly. I stopped by for some oysters, and they have a half and a dozen options. They also serve local beers as well as entrees. Oysters were FRESH and beautifully prepped raw on a lil tray of ice. I wish they had more dressings like a vinegar sauce. BUT I loved their chipotle red salsa in the bottle, so that was a nice lil treat. I also learned that they host an annual oyster fest every year! Restrooms are clean and unisex. The parking is on gravel but spacious. Service was casual and fast.

The food is as fresh as fresh can be! The owner has 97 acres in the bay that he raises tumbler oysters. He brings them here and we eat them and boy were they fabulous! The staff were super friendly schooling me on the different types of oysters. I ordered fresh on the half shell tumblers and the fried pacific oysters. The tumblers are extra briny and have that wonderful ocean flavor. The fried were light and crispy and perfect n every way. My husband had a shrimp cocktail and bowl of clam chowder. Both were good. Jandy's has a casual vibe with seating at the bar or at table. We loved it and recommend it.

A beautiful little place tucked away in a flower garden. The ambiance was spectacular and the wait staff were very attentive. When out food came out it was perfect. The Oysters were so fresh you could taste the ocean.

Awesome little place with great ambience, definitely coming back for oysters, I didn't bring a cooler this time bring home some fresh oysters next time I will. We tried fish tacos & shooters fresh oysters for sure! Two thumbs up on the oysters, they didn't have Tabasco sauce only chipotle & Cayenne sauce but one of the staff members was kind & shared her personal batch of tapatío definitely bring your own sauce. I paired my shooters with habanero Jacobson salt we had just recently purchased, this salt made it taste righteous! With a dab of Tapatío. I will comment on the tacos, not really sure this were rock fish since I cook lots of rock fish tortillas wasn't crispy or hot just lukewarm. Definitely recommend the oysters & great service.

Freshly shucked on the half shell right in front of us! Soooo good.

Had this marked for my dinner in Tillamook while out there. But after a late lunch stuffing at Tillamook Creamery, dinner seemed so daunting daunting... But couldn't stick around the area to digest since still had to drive back to PDX. Driving around the Netarts bay (where oysters here are farmed from!) and checking out the beach, decided we needed to push into dinner after just 2 hours digestion. Nice area and a nice open restaurant with spacious parking lot. Gals working were friendly, and I figured we can just go light on eating since so full. - Buoy Helles Lager = wow this was a great beer after all day out in Tillamook! Nice malty sweetness and so refreshing. Didn't want to drink too much before the long drive back, but just had to get a second. Been wanting to get some back in LA, but Total Wine and others don't seem to carry this beer (Total Wine says found at Vancouver, WA! Buoy needs to expand and offer to the rest of the country!!!). Maybe that's why it shows up on the top of the drink menu, loved it! - Clam chowder = I didn't eat this, but wife and kid ate it up. - Dozen oysters = Netart bay oysters were small and cute. I'm not much of a raw oyster person, but wanted to try since right out of the bay right there. Think I prefer the bigger oysters. - Fried oysters = now this is my style of oysters, lol! Thin batter so crispy/crunchy hot with the semi raw oyster, just the way I like em! Absolutely delicious, and like the beer, had to push through the fullness pain and get a second order of this too. Easily could have gotten a third order if I was sticking around with a third Buoy lager:) Now I am seeing on recent review there was grilled oysters here?! I love oysters that are slightly cooked (fried, grilled, etc), I should have tried that if they were available when I was there in June! As long as grilled doesn't mean overcooked oysters, that would have been a nice choice too... Ended up being the perfect dinner for family stuffed full from late lunch. Still ended up eating bigger dinner than thought due to the fantastic beer and fried oysters!

My family and I were in town on vacation and were looking for some seafood. After a little bit of…read moreYelp research, we decided on The Fish Peddler. I'm almost a little sad that we picked this place first, because I don't know that any other place we eat at is going to be as good or better. This is a combination restaurant / fish counter. Don't let that discourage you from eating there. When we walked in, there was one table left. Always a good sign when a place is busy, especially during the off season. There's generally a reason why the other places are empty. In addition, there was no smell from the fish counter. A sign that everything is fresh. Honest, you really don't even notice there is a counter there once you sit down. We went with a half-dozen oysters on the half shell, Dominic's Fish and Chips, which is the fresh local catch of the day. Today it happened to be Rockfish, always one of my favorites, the Shrimp and Chips, and The Cioppino, which is a seafood stew. This has clams, mussels, fish, prawns, and crab in a tomato sauce. There's a decent selection of beer as well. First, I want to say these were some of the best oysters I've had, fresh out of Willapa Bay. We should have ordered a dozen or two. These came with some lemon and fresh horseradish. Try the horseradish! The oysters tasted great with nothing on them or with a little fresh horseradish. The fish was fried perfectly, golden brown, not oily, and not overcooked. You can easily tell this was fresh Rockfish. The shrimp were fried perfectly as well. The Cioppino was amazing! Again, all the seafood was prepared perfectly. But it was the flavor of the stew that really stood out. This is a dish not to be overlooked and tastes great on a cold day. The food here is outstanding! Though this is a combination market / restaurant, the atmosphere felt comfortable and inviting. The service was great as well. Everyone here was friendly. If you're looking for some great fresh seafood, the Fish Peddler is a must eat and there are plenty of items on the menu that can bring you back multiple times. Honestly, I hope we come back here before we leave town.

They updated a few things, moved the office towards the front, and it just seems to be running really well (do I dare say better?). Everything else is great! We rented a boat and went crabbing. Only got 3 crabs this time, but it was still fun. It's just the idea of being out there that makes it so fun! We went on a rainy day so could not enjoy the view from our site since we had to stay inside the trailer. It's okay, it was still a great visit. I look forward to going again! Ha! Between the…read moregorgeous weather, the great seafood, and the amazing view, it was a total highlight of our trip. One of the best parts of the experience is that you get to pick out the exact crab you'd like; they are then cooked and cleaned for you right on the spot! They also offer clams to steam and oysters that you can shuck yourself if you're looking for a variety. After selecting your crab, you head inside the shop to pick out chips, canned sodas, or something from their variety of beers and sauces to pair with your meal; just don't forget to grab your butter, garlic, and lemons before paying! They also offer oyster shooters in a souvenir shot glass, though be warned that they are served frozen; you may find yourself finishing your meal with them instead of starting with them by the time they finally thaw. The crab was obviously super fresh; truly, nothing beats eating it fresh out of the pot! We also noticed they have a number of back-in RV sites overlooking the water; that is definitely something we'd consider for a future stay. If you're looking for an authentic, hands-on coastal experience, this is the place to be!
