Within the last year, I've needed to see a specialist in New Brunswick on a fairly regular basis. I'm a senior and not comfortable driving from the Beach to New Brunswick for a doctor's appointment. I called Briggs and they are the answer to my problem. They drive me to and from the doctor's and wait for me during the visit on a regular basis. I had used Murphy's, in Middletown, many years ago, but couldn't see them driving south to pick me up just to take me north again to Newark airport. I had considered a cab service, but my vacations are very important to me, and didn't want to have to worry about reliability, so I decided to use Greg's service, and called to set up an appointment. An e-mail was sent with an invite that you respond to confirming your appointment, and you receive a text from the driver a half hour before pick up. My driver showed up very early, and was waiting for me at my requested pick up location. Very friendly, helped with my bags, had a beautiful Lincoln, and got me to Newark in no time! He even was kind enough to look up my departure gate at my terminal for United Airlines! Also, exchanged in pleasant talk on the way! Great service across the board, and highly recommend them and will! I also, love the flat rate that includes tolls and gratuities! Takes the guess work out of your bill. I booked a ride with this service. It was booked for the wrong day in their system. In their…read moresystem the ride showed for the next day a full 36 hours from when the booking was made but my credit card was charged IMMEDIATELY When I called and ended up canceling the ride it was exactly 24 hours from the booking. The dispatcher told me he would cancel the ride and provide a refund. I emailed the next day about the refund, ended up getting a phone call back from the manage, Gary, who told me they had a policy that didn't allow for cancellations inside of 24 hours. Keep in mind the cancellation occurred exactly 24 hours out. Having said that the manager said he would refund my ride MINUS $18 for credit card processing fees which is crap but I was willing to take what I could get as the total ride was $252. Rather be out $230 than $250!! It is a week later and 2 emails later still no refund and no response from the business!!! Plenty of car service options in Brick and the surrounding areas, buyer beware on this one!! In this case one would be better with an Uber!
