During our tour in The Blue Mountains, our group had lunch reservations here. Our guide had pre ordered our meals based upon a limited selection. I chose the beef rump with mashed potatoes and tomatoes. It came with a flan-like dessert. Self serve coffee and tea, and water were included. There is also a bar to order adult beverages.
My beef rump was cooked medium and I enjoyed it and the tomatoes with plenty of butter. I gave away my potatoes and dessert so I can't personally say how they were, but no one complained about either.
The restaurant is located inside of The Mountain Heritage, a small 40 room retreat style hotel. The dining area is positioned to provide scenic views and the decor seemed to be in line with representing the antique nature of the establishment.
The service and hospitality was great. Everything was ready on time and all of the orders (given our numerous dietary restrictions) were correct. Everyone said that they were satisfied with their meals. Given our travel itinerary, dining here worked out well. I have no complaints. read more
