I used Jamie for a private dinner on Cayuga lake and it was 5 stars across the board. From the start she was very easy to work with and our communication was great. She was able to accommodate all food preferences and I was extremely happy with our menu. She showed up to the house promptly, brought all her own plates and had a delicious charcuterie board that we snack on while plying a game as she prepared the dinner. Her presentation of each plate was beautiful, and the food was delicious! We had a delicious summer salad, a seafood bisque that everyone absolutely raved about, spinach and goat cheese ravioli in pesto and shrimp and cod in a beurre blanc sauce over mashed potatoes. Jamie was absolutely AMAZING. She set up, cooked, and cleaned up for 15 girls at a rented property. She brought fancy looking plates, made the aesthetic beautiful, and her food was to die for. She was so friendly and pleasant and made sure we had an amazing night. I highly recommend using Jamie for special events/nights you don't want to go out. This is my first time using a personal chef business, and Jamie made it worth while. I hired Jamie for my best friend's Bachelorette weekend at the Finger Lakes - it was perfect. Let me tell you why. 1) I am a person who likes prompt responses, and that person was Jamie. Every email I sent, she was able to respond within hours. She even would let you know that she saw your email and that she would respond the next day. She never left you hanging. 2) She works with you to customize the menu. She is inclusive to those who have allergies. I know this is a common thing amongst dining experiences, but she made sure to double check with us even during the day of. Even though a girl in our group was allergic to fish (not shelfish), she made sure to let me know what dishes contained potential fish stock so we wouldnt choose it. 3) Her presentation is amazing. She made sure everything looked perfect especially for my best friend's special day. The food was so delicious that we had to do laps because we wanted to eat more and save room for her amazing dessert. 4) Her personality is amazing. She made us feel comfortable. The bride requested a chef and as her maid of honor I wanted the best and Jamie sure delivered !! Everyone raved that it was the best meal of their lives, and it was a great highlight of our trip. Jamie is an incredible Chef! She did an in home chef experience for my parent's 70th birthday meal and everyone LOVED it! She brought everything mostly prepared and then cooked it up fresh from starters to dessert. Everything was beautifully plated and served to us so all we had to do was relax and enjoy! Everything looked as great as it tasted and the best part was that we were in the comfort of our own home! She created a local, fresh, elegant, and most importantly delicious 5 course meal!
