We are so thankful for Dr Wong, she delivered both my twin boys as well as my 3rd boy :)…read more Both times via c section and my recovery was great both times. Her office is always nice and courteous and she's very genuine and caring and always answered any and all of our questions Thank you Dr Wong :) from Brystan, Brenner n Brentlon

Prenatal care: Visits seemed extremely rushed, like she was always in a hurry, but she was never…read morerude. She was definitely nice, and always asked how I was feeling. She justified everything as normal, but agreed to prescribe me some heartburn medication since none of the OTC things were working, and mine was so bad that I couldn't even lay down without intense burning. She was empathetic when I ended up with a PUPPS rash, and gave me suggestions of things I could do to ease the discomfort. Since I had a scheduled c-section, she gave me several dates to choose from, which was nice. Postnatal care: This is where I have issues. The MFM had me on baby asprin since week 20, and I'm not sure if there was a lack of communication, but I was never informed that I needed to stop taking it prior to surgery. That being said, I ended up with pretty bad postpartum hemorrhaging that could have been easily avoided. I will say, I do like that she made my incision super low so it's not visible even with bikini-style underwear. She also put "everything" back well, so my abdomen looks defined at times because of how she placed everything. The nurses are the reason I skipped my 6 month postpartum checkup. I don't remember their names, but one of them was super rude to me when I called about my postpartum hemorrhaging. I even remember one of them being sassy when I would call in for questions while I was pregnant. It's also alarming that I skipped the appt, and no one ever called to check up. As bad as this sounds, I still haven't gotten checked out, but I plan on finding a different OB/Gyn and getting a very overdue postpartum check. Nurses make a huge difference in how the patient feels about a practice, and I have to dock off a star because of their service.

I am writing this review on behalf of my 52 yr. old mother (mainly because a language barrier). Dr…read more Evans has been my mother's gynecologist for the past 2 yrs and we are extremely pleased with her and her staff. My mother is currently in her post-menopause stage and dealing with some endometrial issues. Dr. Evans has been excellent at communicating with my mother despite the language barrier (I always make sure to take my mother to her appointments and translate what her doctors want to communicate to her). She has made my mother and myself feel at ease with her proposed treatment plan. What I love most about Dr. Evans is she take the time to explain the issues at hand with clearly colored and labeled diagrams of the female body. She always makes sure you understand everything prior to leaving her office and even made sure I was translating what she was saying to my mother right then and there. When she saw my mother get a bit nervous and teary-eyed after an ultrasound report, she comforted her and made her feel reassured about her options as a patient. As my mother's healthcare coordinator, it is very important for me to find good, kindhearted and passionate doctors who really care for their patients. Dr. Evans and her staff definitely do care! Her staff takes the time to get to know you on a name basis and I was glad they remembered I am my mother's coordinator. Her office is beautifully decorated and gives you a feeling of peace and tranquility. I have recommended her to my family & friends. She is quite booked, so be proactive and if you can book ahead (especially for preventive care). Thank you for taking care of my mother Dr. Evans. **We have only visited her Sugar Land office in the HMC building. I am not sure if she has another location.

Unfortunately I'll be looking for a new OB/GYN. I've been a…read morepatient of Dr. Evans for several years, and she is amazing. This was my 1st visit at the new Sugarland Med Spa location. The office is beautiful, and the staff is always friendly and professional. My only issue was, I wasn't examined by Dr. Evans. Brittani completed my examination, and although she was great, she wasn't the doctor. I felt really strange having her complete my pelvic examination. I'm sure she's thoroughly trained , however she's not a MD trained in Gynecology. Is this the new normal? Are no longer seeing the OB/GYN but instead seeing the NP. I'm feeling uncomfortable with this! Maybe I'm just old fashioned, but when I make an appointment with the doctor, I expect to actually see the doctor!
