A friend referred us to Jamie and we felt like we won the lottery working with her. She is the perfect combo of down-to-business (frank, excellent eye and sense of the market, whip-smart, savvy) and personal (sensitive, caring, intuitive--she totally gets the emotional side of selling/buying a HOME, it's more than a just a house). She is incredibly organized and well-connected (with other real estate agents, contractors, etc); her whole team was great to work with. She really went above and beyond for us, and at many points in the process, pivoted quickly to get what needed to be done, done! I cannot say enough positive things about our Jamie. read more

This was my first time selling a property, and Jamie helped me with every step along the way. I decided to work for her because I thought she had a fine attention to detail, and I was not disappointed. I'd highly recommend working with Jamie. read more

Jamie, and her co-worker Courtney, were so easy to work with--and really understood what my fiancé and I were looking for--that we never had to worry whether we were seeing enough of the properties that fit our needs. We were confident in Jamie's knowledge from the word go, and it was in our first meeting with Jamie that we really nailed down what we were looking for in a home. Every property that Jamie showed us had more than enough "us" in them that the list of potential homes were organized as 1A, 1B, 1C, etc.--my fiancé and I were looking forward to choosing a home from a list of favorites. That is, until Jamie found a home perfect for us, one that checked off all the "boxes" and in a location we adore. You will not be happier with your home hunting experience than turning to Jamie and Courtney to help you navigate your way through the bay area market. They are easy to communicate with, take onboard your needs/wants, and are quick to respond to our questions and worries, and really made what I thought would be a fraught, complicated experience into one that quickly delivered a first home to my fiancé and me. Thank you both! read more

If we could give Jamie and her team more than 5 stars we would. It had been several decades since we last sold a home and were doing it in a terrible market, with multiple unexpected, anxiety-provoking issues out of our control. (Our last sale in the '80's was essentially a handshake - today selling a home requires a hundred or so pages of disclosures!) From the first time we met, we had a good feeling about Jamie and this was confirmed throughout the process. Every decision she made turned out to be correct, from choosing what things made sense to upgrade, to choice of contractors, stagers, and how/when to hold open houses. Throughout, she warmly, professionally and assuredly walked us through the external issues and the complexities of the selling process. She was an absolute pleasure to work with. She's exceptional. And the support of Courtney, Kasia and the rest of the team helped to make things easy for us. Ultimately the property sold surprisingly quickly, for substantially over the asking price. Our only regret is, now that the home is sold, we won't see more of them. But if we ever sell a home in the future, we'd work with her again in a heartbeat. read more

I was lucky enough to work with Jamie to find my first home in SF. She took the time to talk to me from the beginning and make sure we were a good fit for one another, and she never once pressured me throughout the process. She's knowledgeable, honest, and dedicated, and she helped me find an incredible condo in under two months (below listing price!). As we looked at different places, Jamie was always offering ideas and providing details about the area/building. She provided some truly invaluable information and she was a great partner to have along with me on this journey. Jamie and Courtney also coordinated (and happily accompanied me on!) an entire day of touring to accommodate the fact that I wasn't living in the Bay Area during my search. They were flexible and kind, and they worked really, really hard. Thanks to Jamie and Courtney, I found my dream home. I would highly recommend this team! read more

We used Jamie to sell our loft and boy are we glad we did. We initially reached out to Jamie because she is well known in the loft niche and that definitely proved the case as she knew what would sell and at what price given, at that time, a difficult loft/condo market. She guided us expertly through the process, laying out the options for us in terms of whether to sell or buy first (depending on our financial situation and inclination to rent in between) and what the buy & sell transactions would look like given the sequencing of events. For the sell process Jamie knew exactly what my wife (and buyers!) would be looking for in terms of staging a loft and set up a great stager for us as well as a crew to patch up odds and ends. Jamie is well known in the loft niche and her brand in that space brought buyers to us, helping to make the sale at a price we were looking for. It turned what could have been an extended sell process in a tricky market into a quick sale which was what we were hoping for. Jamie was thoroughly professional through the process - a skillful negotiator and very knowledgeable in the San Francisco market - if you look her up she buys/sells real estate in much more than just the loft space - that just happens to be our experience with her. We could not have been happier with the end result and thoroughly recommend Jamie and her team. read more

I have worked with Jamie Comer both personally and professionally for more than a decade. She has been one of the top real estate agents in San Francisco for several years. I happen to be a top-producing loan officer in San Francisco, and Jamie and I have teamed up to help more than 50 families to purchase homes in the Bay Area since 2010. I've worked with [literally] thousands of real estate agents in my 20-year career, and Jamie stands out as one of the best. Which is why my wife and I have personally worked with Jamie twice when we purchased each of our homes in San Francisco. Jamie helped my wife and I to get into our first home by finding us an off-market property so we didn't have to endure the typical bidding war. I should also mention that three years later, when my wife and I were thinking about selling that house in order to cash-in on the rapid appreciation, Jamie advised us to NOT sell that home - and boy am I glad that we still own that home today (thanks to Jamie's recommendation)! Jamie essentially turned down the real estate commission and advised us not to sell the home at that time. She put our best interests first and gave us the recommendation that would benefit our family the most in the long run. Objective financial advice from a commission-only salesperson is virtually unheard of - but not with Jamie! She's a straight shooter. When we purchased our second home in San Francisco, Jamie helped us to make a preemptive offer before offers were being reviewed, so once again, we did not end up in a situation with multiple counter-offers. As a buyer or a seller, Jamie has always been extremely responsive and she always finds a way. She has long-standing relationships in the San Francisco real estate community that are essential in a competitive market like this. She has saved my sanity on a number of occasions. Her attention to detail, her ability to manage expectations, her organization and negotiating skills are second to none. Her even keel and calm disposition always get results. Jamie is a friend, colleague and part of our family. I trust her implicitly and even though I know hundreds of San Francisco real estate agents, there's a reason why my wife and I have chosen to work with Jamie when it came to our own, personal real estate transactions. read more

I was so very happy with the work that Jamie Comer did for us. We really appreciated her energy and forward thinking attitude. We did not have to take out all of our furniture and stage the condo. Jaime beautifully edited our furniture and added some interesting accessories. She also added lots of floral and plant beauty to the condo. Jaime and her team did a lot of detail work to make the whole condo shine. She had lots of different approaches to advertising, including flyers and Internet and even old school walking door-to-door in our neighborhood, inviting the neighbors and offering them a small surprise ---some nice soap. I also appreciated that she was gracious and inclusive with our immediate downstairs neighbors. She realized that they were experiencing some disruption in their lives with the sale of the upstairs unit and wanted to show her appreciation. The above is all about relationships but i just want to say that she and her team were knowledgeable and on top of all the moving parts around legal and financial requirements. Our experience was too notch. read more

Your search stops here -- Jamie is an incredible, passionate, and multi-talented agent that will exceed your expectations like she exceeded ours! We were desperately in search of a real estate agent after finding a house we loved, and realizing that our prior agent had most likely retired. Through referral, we came to know Jamie. Jamie ended up helping us with our home buying process and guiding us to successfully land our dream house. Along the way, she provided excellent reads on the market, and worked with us collaboratively to come up with a great bid. Never did she push us into an uncomfortable spot; in fact, she even helped reel us in when we might have been overbidding! This help is invaluable especially in a market like SF. Jamie then proved she was equally if not even more capable as a sellers' agent. This is where her network really came into play. She got us contact with a top-notch crew of stagers, handy-people, and vendors to ensure our house was in top-notch shape without breaking the bank. I believe every dollar spent yielded rewards in the end. Likewise, she helped us navigate multiple bids to arrive at a very satisfactory selling price. As if that were not enough, she went even further. As we moved into our new home, she pulled on her 10 years of design experience to provide a vision for remodeling, down to the meticulous detail required of SF designers -- trends in tile, kitchen, bath, and the best local vendors. She took us on multiple vendor tours at the SF Design District and gave us multiple face-to-face design consultations -- all simply as part of her process in helping us create our best possible next home! We cannot recommend Jamie highly enough -- six stars but please make sure she's available if and when we need her again! read more

Jamie has sold numerous units in my condo building and it's not by chance that so many owners have chosen her to represent them. I got the opportunity to work with Jamie and her team recently to help sell my studio unit within the complex. Despite the tricky studio market in SF, Jamie was able to advise me on how to best position my listing, connect me with an excellent painter/handyman who polished up the unit, secure a competitive offer, and facilitate a speedy closing. Even though we were dealing with a tight timeline, Jamie was able to exceed our expectations, turning the sale around in less than two months from listing to closing. I couldn't have been more pleased with Jamie and would highly recommend her to others! read more

When we found out our landlord was looking to sell the condo we lived in and decided we may want to put in an offer, we didn't know where to turn. After a quick search on Yelp I found Jamie and her team. Jamie was incredibly responsive after I reached out and understood the tight time constraint we were under. She set up a call with her team the next morning to figure out a game plan with us. Through the whole process she was incredibly helpful, showing us other houses we could get in our price range before finally helping us put in an offer on our condo. As first time home buyers, she was incredibly knowledgeable and responsive and quick to ease our concerns every step of the way. Even putting us in touch with the lender we ended up using to secure our mortgage. Our escrow process was a lot more eventful than we were expecting it to be. The seller tried to rescind his acceptance after we had all signed and wired our money to escrow. And we found out a lot of back taxes had not been payed. Jamie was extremely helpful and patient through all of this, ensuring that despite the bumpy road we were able to successfully complete the purchase. She even came by afterward to do a design consultation for us! We would highly recommend Jamie and her team as buyers agents for your next SF home purchase. read more

My wife and I worked with Jamie in 2013 and again in 2021. In '13 we were young, first time home buyers and Jamie helped us secure a modest 1000sq/ft 2/2 condo. Fast forward to '21, at a moment's notice Jamie helped us navigate a very different real estate market while raising a 7 month old at home. In short order, Jamie and team helped us secure a single family home we look forward to expending our family within. In each instance, Jamie and team gave us the focus and attention you could only dream of. Our experience speaks to their ability to delivery results for a wide range of clientele with unique needs and life stages. We highly recommend this team and we look forward to utilizing them again in the future!! read more

You can't ask for a better team than Jamie and Kindred SF! They are smart, thorough and know the market well. Jamie will give you the full 360 view of the market and your house, and is always looking out for your best interests, even if that means she might not get a sale right away. She sold our home in record time, even in a toughening market. She was very understanding of our attachment to the home and helped us find a buyer we liked. Our family has worked with Jamie multiple times now- we have used her as our realtor and guide both buying and selling in SF and I can't recommend her highly enough. Jamie is a real professional, it is amazing to me how she can be both warm and direct in her communications, and so incredibly knowledgeable about the real estate market. She helped us buy a home that was not on the market due to her connections, it was a literal dream come true! When it was time to sell, the process was totally headache free because her team was so thorough and professional. Look no further than Jamie Comer! read more

The San Francisco real estate market is crazy and difficult and there aren't enough superlatives for how awesome and unbelievable Jamie Comer is! When I think about what she was able to do for us, it still blows my mind. (1) We weren't totally sure we wanted to move even though we'd outgrown our home; (2) we didn't want to stage and weren't thrilled to have open houses; and (3) our condo was going through litigation making lending difficult. Jamie helped us edit our furnishings and found storage for us and sent over loaner furniture as well, got the place cleaned and showed it while we were on vacation producing a record breaking sale for the building. She negotiated a rent back so we could look for a new place without having to leave ours. Then---in a super competitive buyers market---she found us the perfect home in the perfect location OFF MARKET so we did not have to compete for it and we got a great deal on it. We talk about real estate all the time, Jamie always knows what's going on in the local and national scene, she is uncommonly well informed and strategic and savvy. I would never use anyone else, I see her less as a real estate agent and more as a partner in my families long term wealth building strategy. Our children sing songs to her GREATNESS! read more

Jamie was recommended to me by a colleague as someone who knew their way around lofts in San Francisco. She did not disappoint! Jamie and I discussed what I was looking for in a space and reassuringly answered the myriad questions I had as a first time homebuyer. Once we started looking at units I worked closely with Courtney who was phenomenal. She pointed out all the details about the units I may have missed, and was always quick to respond with answers to the yet more questions I had. Once I settled on a unit, Jamie and Courtney walked me through the process every step of the way. While it was difficult at times due to covid and bureaucracy, I felt like I was in good hands. Overall my favorite part of working with Jamie was that I felt that she genuinely wanted the best for me and worked hard to make that a reality. read more

Nobody knows the Richmond District like Kindred SF Homes. Jamie, Kasia and the rest of the team are stars, they deserve 5 of them

Jamie is been nothing but exceptional to my wife and I for two separate home purchases. She got us into our first house a few years ago when we were almost scared out of the SF housing market. And then did it again last month for our new family home! She's everything you want in a real estate agent ... Always on, connected, honest, and has the grit to push through where other agents don't. We can't recommend her enough. If you are buying or selling, call Jamie. read more

I was introduced to Jamie around a year ago as I owned a loft in the South Beach area and was interested in moving to a new space. Jamie listened to what I was interested in and presented a variety of options in the area. We spent a few days going back and forth and viewing several properties. However, it soon became clear that I wasn't in the right position to move right away and I called off my search for the time being. As time went on, I moved into a rental unit with my fiancé and Jamie stayed in touch. Before I got a chance to worry about staging the loft and preparing for the market, Jamie contacted me a few months ago as she had a buyer that she thought may be interested in seeing the loft. Less than a week later, Jamie presented an offer at the full asking price and there was no need to go to market! Throughout the escrow process, Jamie and her associate, Courtney, were very professional and made the process as seamless as possible. I am very impressed by Jamie's attention to detail and I would (and already have!) recommend her and her team to friends or family members looking for a realtor. read more

Jamie is an excellent Real Estate Agent and we highly recommend her. We used her to sell our condo in San Francisco which she sold in less than a week. There were many issues with the buyer's lender that she handled promptly and professionally. Her communication skills are excellent and she kept us in the loop the entire time. I think the deal would have fallen apart with any other Agent, but she put in the extra effort and creative thinking required to ensure that the deal closed and we got what we wanted. We would definitely use her services again and cannot recommend her highly enough. read more

We met Jamie when she sold a unit in our San Francisco loft condo building a few years ago. She introduced herself to several of the homeowners in the building in order to ensure that if they had any questions about the sale that they could reach out to her. That tells you everything you need to know about Jamie: she is thoughtful, proactive, strategic, and kind. When it came time for us to sell our loft, there was no question that Jamie was the one to sell it. She came to the unit to take a look at it. We had "a number" in mind for the sale price. Jamie proposed a number, which was precisely our number. Jamie and her amazing team did incredible marketing -- including a clever and informative video of the unit. The photographs of our unit were EXTRAORDINARY. Jamie and her team made the whole process easy -- all of the forms for signature were on line, the open houses were easy, and they were kind and thoughtful about everything. And guess what -- Jamie and her team sold our loft within 6 days of it going on the market for above asking price. The communication from Jamie and her team to us throughout the entire process was flawless, frequent, timely, and effective. They made every step of the process easy and effortless. There is a reason why Jamie comes so highly recommended. Her well over 15 yrs in the business, most notably here in SF, proved to be invaluable when she recently helped me sell my house. From start to finish, Jamie was incredibly thoughtful and organized , and took all the stress off my plate as we went through the process. She worked incredibly hard to prepare the house and help present it to the seller, while presenting comps of sales in the area to help me land on an appropriate price in this ever changing market we are in. That knowledge and her hustle to move quickly , proved to be the difference. My house sold before even hitting the market. Saving me time and stress, and no doubt a LOT of money, as things are changing dramatically in the city. I trust Jamie implicitly and highly recommend her to anyone who wants a top notch agent, with many years of experience that is a difference maker! read more

I am giving Jamie four stars because she is personable, and may be a fine buyer's agent for the area she primarily serves. However, she did not prove to be helpful in our search for a home in a warmer part of SF, with few or no stairs and some distance views. Every listing she sent in the first week was deficient in some respect. Then on our own, we found a property online that sounded perfect, two days after it went on the market, and had our offer accepted two days later. David H. read more

I recently worked with Jamie to sell my beloved home in San Francisco. It was vitally important to me to work with someone genuine that could understand my deep attachment to the home. Jamie gently suggested improvement that made the home attractive for its new owner and got me a price above asking. I met Jamie when looking for my second live/work investment in SOMA. My immediate impression of her, is that Jamie is a real person. I've come across of plenty of the phony "sleazy car sales man" type of real estate agents (and turned them down) who will tell you anything, and tell you anything you want to hear to make a deal and make their commission. Jamie doesn't have that vibe at all; and listens carefully to what you're really want. I'm an Art Director at heart, and thus pretty picky and do my homework thoroughly. Jamie had the patience to put up with my patience and thorough search over a period of 9 months. Another thing to note -- Jamie has good contacts in other areas regarding real estate purchases. I was put in contact with various people in my hunt from individual brokers to bank mortgage lenders and used one of the individual lenders because they were able to close a deal within 15 days! Thanks Jamie! Let's keep in touch! read more

Jamie is a rockstar. We've worked with Jamie on buying AND selling multiple homes in SF over the past 4-5 years and couldn't be happier. We also have really good friends who have worked with Jamie exclusively over a decade and she is their go to! Jamie is extremely knowledgeable about the real estate business and knows the Bay Area market (particularly SF) VERY WELL. She is connected and well respected in the industry. Even when we weren't thinking to sell our home in SF, we went to Jamie for guidance and advise on renovations and upgrades, and she never turned us down. Jamie is very creative and thinks outside the box and has her clients interest as top priority! With our most recent sale, she helped get us on the market very quickly. For personal reasons, we had to live in the home (with kids and pets) while it was showing and she guided us on how best showcase our home for best desirable outcome. Our home sold in less than 2 weeks and we couldn't be happier. We highly highly recommend Jamie. She is a true gem. read more

Jamie has represented us as both buyers and sellers. She helped us buy our condo in 2012, when we first moved to SF. We'd bought in other cities, including internationally, but SF real estate is a whole other experience. We felt anxious and overwhelmed by the competition. We were on a tight budget and hesitant to engage in bidding wars. Jamie did a good job of helping us feel comfortable with the home buying process. She was alway responsive to our questions and concerns. When it was time to sell our condo in 2019, we naturally turned to her. She and her associate were able to help us sell off market for more than we expected plus we saved time and money not having to fix and stage the unit. After selling our condo, we weren't quite ready to buy. We wanted to take some time to figure out what we wanted and where we wanted to live. Then the pandemic hit. Seeing homes became much more complicated since open houses were prohibited. It seemed like a hassle to have to make an appointment and coordinate times just to see a home. There was also the recession and the uncertainty of how that might affect home prices. We considered waiting until after the pandemic, but Jamie thought this was actually be a good time to buy a home in SF. Inventory was up and competition was down. Whenever we requested information about a home, she and her associate were very good about getting us disclosure packages. If we wanted to see a home, Jamie would make it happen. Jamie must have shown us a dozen plus homes, everything from fixers to turnkey homes. (She even got us showings for homes in Marin.) She alway did her homework when it came to comps and analysis. She respected our budget and we never felt any pressure to offer more than we were comfortable. She handled our fickleness and our anxieties professionally. When we found "the one", Jamie went above and beyond to help us secure the deal. We will be forever grateful. read more

I have worked with Jamie twice in purchasing a home in the Bay Area. The first purchase was a condo in a new building in the Mission in 2010. She made the whole process so painless and smooth, and really guided us through it with her market expertise and experience. After many years, and much personal life change, my partner and I were ready to purchase a home in Oakland, after renting and moving for many years. I knew that Jamie would be the one to make this happen for us! We talked on the phone about our home goals and timing, and she immediately connected me with a mortgage consultant (Tom Parke - whom I also highly recommend!). The process was underway, and we began looking at homes. Jamie's associate, Courtney, is amazing! She is knowledgeable, sweet, and more importantly, patient. As new home buyers, we didn't know what was realistic, but Jamie and Courtney really guided us and we quickly learned. When we finally found the one we knew would make us happy, Jamie was on it. There were a few counter offers, and lots of back and forth, but Jamie had our best interest at all times. She got us our home, in our budget, and the entire process was very smooth. I can't recommend Jamie enough, for her professionalism, expertise, kindness, and overall, just being a great human being. I'm hoping we won't be moving any time soon, but when we do, I know who to call. read more

After working with Jamie 5 years ago to buy my home in the Maxwell Park area of Oakland, the time had come to move to a new home for a new stage of life. I immediately thought of no one else except Jamie to help me sell my home. This was my real estate 4th transaction with Jamie. She once again came across the Bay to assist me in every aspect of selling my home. She was able to connect with her wide network of home professionals to get my house ready for sale. Within 10 days we were able to get the interior of the house painted, the exterior power washed, and the home staged and ready to go on the market. Using her in-depth knowledge of the housing market and her marketing savvy, Jamie coached me to set a selling price that would peak interest and attract as many buyers as possible. Jamie held two, very popular, open houses where she was able to engage with the potential buyers and manage their expectations for the Oakland housing market. Her strategy paid off and we had over 30 sets of potential buyers view the home. Through her hard work in presenting the home in its best light and the ability to engage with potentials buyers, we received 9 offers on the home - all over the original list price. The offer we finally accepted greatly exceeded my expectations and was close to 30% over the list price. Once the offer was accepted, Jamie continued to guide and support me through the escrow and closing process. The transaction was able to close in 10 days with no significant issues. Oh, and did I mention that Jamie has the best upbeat and positive attitude in everything she does and always has a smile on her face. Wow! It's hard to know where to begin, since every aspect of knowing and working with Jamie has been outstanding. We just closed on our first home purchase in San Francisco, an 18-month process, and Jamie has been with us every step of the way. The real estate market in SF is crazy at the moment - no inventory, hungry buyers and deep, deep pockets. We had to fight 20 offers to win our home and I can honestly say there is no way that we would have been able to do it without Jamie. She is honest, open, supportive and, most importantly, has extensive experience and understanding of both the SF real estate market and the people that work within it. There were many occasions when we would arrive at an open house, accompanied by Jamie, and she would be warmly greeted by the seller's realtor. Her eye is astonishing. She would point out details, positive and negative, on our walkthroughs that we would never have spotted. When we got advice from Jamie we could tell it was honest and frank, and we never felt pressured or that we were being 'sold' a home. Did I mention it was an 18-month process? We've been looking for almost 2 years for the right home, and have been 'in the game' for 18 months. Jamie was with us the whole time. There is no way that the fees she received could have compensated the time that she put in with us, but it didn't seem to matter. The feeling we got was that she was there to help us no matter what. And now that we've closed and are preparing to move, when other realtors might say thanks and goodbye, she continues to help and support us. Over the years she has assembled a team of trusted vendors and contractors and has helped us with flooring, plumbers, electricians, you name it. Every one has been reasonably priced and very professional (our refinished hardwood floors look amazing!). Thanks Jamie! I cannot recommend you highly enough. read more
