Not even worth 1 star. Every time I go to bowl here there's an issue. I've called before going multiple times about open bowling, just to arrive and be told they have league and I can't bowl. Sometimes if they are busy they will write your name down and let you know when they have a lane available, other times they say they don't do that. I'd drive an extra hour to bowl anywhere else. The lanes break often. DO NOT GO HERE. Worst bowling alley in America. Maybe worst in the world. read more

Bowling was good as usual. Bit many issues but the lane getting stuck once. The front desk people were dicks. There's a new dude, shorter and on the stockier side with tats in his arm that treated us like a dick. First thing he told us was we were underage without asking our id. Then told us he needed one of our lanes we reserved a week in advance because they were overbooked. They did not end up being overbooked. read more

Turned away very rudely during open hours so you could "prep for league later". Your not having time to prep for league is not my problem when you post hours as being "open". Very poor customer service, this was my first, and last, ever visit to your center. read more

I really like bowling here for the league and tournaments. The lanes are most of the time oiled for if you put hook on the ball,and the staff there are really nice. read more

Two stars because bowling was fun but 0 stars because the "snack bar" was terrible! They didn't announce when our order was *half* finished so it sat up there and got cold, but half the order was wrong anyway - ordered a steak entrée salad but got a very small chicked salad, chicken wrap was ordered with fries but got chips, side salad ordered never received, charged for salad dressing we never got and EVERYTHING that was supposed to hot was cold. The staff was VERY slow and they all looked miserable. My husband asked for a refund for the order mishaps because we didn't want to wait another 40+ minutes - they don't give refunds so they gave us a gift certificate. It didn't help either that a gentleman, presumably from the kitchen staff, was overheard talking s**t. Do not recommend for food but, as I said, had fun bowling with the family at least. read more

Where do I begin. Got seated promptly and got drinks promptly. When drinks arrived we placed our order. 25 minutes later, my waitress Amelia was embarrassed to come over and tell me that the kitchen decided to inform her just then that they didn't have all of the ingredients for my dinner order. Needless to say I was not happy. I just ordered a BLT on toasted whole wheat bread so that my wife would get her dinner soon. Amelia let me know at that time the the owner Jim Mee would be coming over to speak with me about the issue with my dinner. When my BLT arrived, it was on white bread and the bacon was under cooked and the french fries were luke warm at best. Amelia did everything she could including offering us dessert on her which I declined. I did tell her that I wanted her to tell Jim that I appreciated him coming over to speak to me which he did NOT!! Don't waste your time or your money going to this place to eat. It is not worth the aggravation or the waste of your time, especially seeing that it is VERY obvious that he doesn't really care about his customers or making sure that HIS business is serving quality food or even has the components to complete meals that are on their menu. They double charged us for 4 games of bowling. The machine scratched our brand new balls up and the balls would get stuck at the end of the lane we waited like 30 minutes all together waiting for them to get our balls back to us. Also the lady was very rude throughout the night. I am not one to talk crap about a business and i had to download yelp specifically to write this review. Beyond disappointed, that a fun night out had to turn into an expensive headache. :( read more

where do I begin, first the Greeter wanted to put my 81 year old Mother in Law at a high table, then we waited for our drinks to be ordered( bad there) waited for over 20 minutes for our waitress to place order, my Mother in Law and I ordered the prime rib melt WITHOUT MUSHROOMS OR ONIONS.. they came out with BOTH on the sandwich I found 3 husks of onion in my sandwich! No doubt the prep workers and the servers need to be more CAREFUL AND DILLIGENT WHEN PREPPING AND DELIVERING ORDERS!! There are people with food allergies and other health issues!! We came in and immediately received a bitchfest coming from a group of try hard bowling women. Don't tell me that I can't wear my shoes on the carpet. Give me a break. Then the worker was giving us lip about our bowling shoes. Awful. Then he had the nerve to put us in a lane right next to a pillar so it was tough to see. They rushed us out because they screwed up our times. Wha a joke this place is. The pizza here is not good either. Way too much greasy cheese. I don't bowl any more, but I still visit Jamestown Bowling Company for the restaurant. My daughter recommended the prime rib sandwich, and I've been hooked! I order that nearly every time I go, but recently branched out to try their fish fry. Delicious! Service is good, even when the place is slammed, although it's a little slower at peak times. A server can only do so much at one time. If you haven't thought of going to a bowling establishment for good food, you should! read more

I am on a league here and we have a great time bowling! They have nice lanes, and great service. We love to order food and drinks when we are bowling. The attached Game Time sports bar has excellent food, making these places a great pair. I am on the once a month ladies night out wine league and the end of season wine tour was so much fun and was well planned by the JBC staff. They also participate with the summer Kids Bowl Free program, and my kids enjoy bowling here all summer. We always add the family pass so my mother in law can go too! read more

This place straight up lied when we called about a week ahead saying that there was open bowling. They never told us about how they weren't accepting open bowling that day till 6pm. Totally unacceptable and unprofessional. All my family were supposed to bowl before I head out back to my job in Hawaii. Though the inside was decorated very well for the breast cancer awareness, it was wrong to not tell people (there was one other family that tried to come in) about the competition. read more

here we go again. this year was extra special for our annual family reunion bowling party because we missed out on last year, and we added a new member. while we have been here before, we were ALARMED that there was no sign stating that the dirty, teal, rundown building was our favorite bowling arena. despite the large quantity of cars in the parking lot, we were stunned to discover there was no one inside. when we waved someone down to help us, he told us that our fun time must end at 6, unlike the time of 11 that was stated on the website. i requested a shoe size of 8 women's and received an 8 men's. i was offended that not only did he assume my gender, he also assumed i had abnormally large feet. the shoes given to us had amazing magical powers. when tap dancing in the shoes, you were able to throw strikes with little to no effort. there was no one else in the arena with us, which felt quite quiet and dangerous. quietly dangerous. we were unfortunate to discover that the names were altered to previous bowlers from last year. it was amazing to reminisce since they couldn't be there with us. they aren't dead, they just didn't rsvp. due to the lack of other bowlers in the arena, we were distraught, since we loved watching others in order to perfect our bowling technique. once we finished our singular game (rather then our regular double game), we were asked to stay from the bowling pin angels on the tv screen, even though the lone worker strictly instructed that our fun must end eventually (at 6). my last complaint is that we had to use two lanes. this was not the bowling alleys fault, we are just upset with our decision. overall, an acceptable time. read more

This place absolutely sucks. The service is terrible. The food is sub-par, the noise from the lanes in the bar is annoying, and the fact that they let the staff run the jukebox and play the same song on repeat for half an hour is enough to make me and my friends never step foot in there again. read more
