I could not have been more displeased with my choice to use Nielsen Legal. I was initially given false information and guidance on my first phone call, which I could forgive. People do make mistakes. What I can't forgive is the unprofessional treatment and consideration I received. I received no contact whatsoever about my case and I had to call to try to get updates and understand the situation. The person handling my case was changed and I got no notification. When I called, I was treated with indignation as I quoted what the original person (incorrectly) told me. I didn't even get calls when I specifically requested them before my court date and more than one voicemail was completely ignored with no call back. I ended up having to make 2 money order payments to the court due to lack of communication. I got no call before or after my court date, just a letter and a bill from the court. The letter was inaccurate and directly contradicted the documents from the court. I strongly discourage anyone from using this law firm, particularly if you are from out of state.

After the initial meeting, I was told I had a reason to file a lawsuit against a bank. I was told that I had cause for triple damages , which could be substantial. Andrew Parker was my attorney. In the beginning he told me he was going to try to go through some back door to settle without filing. This went on for almost a year. When he had wasted many hours on " going through the back door " he finally filed the action against the bank. They immediately agreed to reimburse the funds that had been taken. Mr Parker thought that was a good deal and recommended I accept it. I made the mistake of questioning his methods and I would end up paying dearly. The bank ended up paying back the initial amount, plus interest plus extra to cover Andrews fees. Just happens his fees increased over $3000.00 after the case had settled. Mr Parker's bill was inflated from the beginning, but more from the point I questioned his methods. If you are looking for an attorney that will bill fairly without concern for his ego, look somewhere else!
