It took a few days for the company to reply, only for the message back to state "unable to service"... no reasoning at all was provided. I didn't even ask for a specific date or time. Would have been nice if they provided an explanation like: too booked, job too far away, etc... not happy Yelp suggested a company that is not able to complete a job. Giving two stars since they replied back and I'm not sure how much is a Yelp issue vs the company's. Cannot speak to the value since no quote for services was obtained.

It took about 2 weeks of actively trying to finally get someone to have the time and follow-through…read moreto fix a problem I had, but at least now I know who exactly to call for all future handyman service needs! I had a piece of duct work fall off the vent under my house. I tried to duct tape it back together myself but it fell off a few days later so that's when I decided to start looking. Of the various companies I reached out to, I was mostly ignored, one no-show, no-call, got on the schedule with one other company but they had a minimum charge and the appt was a week & a half away. I told that company to put me down, but I was going to try to find someone who could come sooner. An odd Google search pulled up The 843 Handyman and I'm thankful! Jeremiah was extremely responsive, communication was an ease, no minimum charge and was able to come out a few days later. Weather delays things for him a bit but he stayed in touch, and was able to make it a few hours after the intended time. I was home all day and he kept me in the loop. He explained what he was going to do, showed me the work once done, and was professional and personable. As I mentioned, I won't go looking next time; I'll just reach out to Jeremiah and would absolutely recommend to anyone needing handyman services in a timely manner for a fair price. Two thumbs up!

We would absolutely recommend the Velasquez company to anyone who is looking to get their home…read morepainted. From start to finish, they were wonderful to work with and made the entire process smooth and stress free. We got six different bids and Velasquez stood out. During the initial estimate, Antonio listened to all of our concerns and we walked the entire house with us. He spent about an hour and a half gathering all the information he needed to give us an accurate bid that reflected everything we were looking for. We really appreciated that there was no pressure and he wasn't pushy in any way. He gave us all the information we needed and then gave us space to make a decision. Once we chose them, communication was excellent. We received daily texts about what time the crew would arrive in the morning. We also would get an evening text asking how things were going and if we had any concerns (which we never did). The crew was also kind, respectful and cleaned up after themselves each day. Gabriella also came by to check on the work herself during the process as well. The quality of their work was outstanding. They were very meticulous and we couldn't be happier with the job they did. Gabriella also did a final walk through to make sure we were happy and see if there was anything we needed done. They were absolutely fantastic to work with from start to finish. We very much appreciated their non pushy way of business and were always there when we had questions. It is also a family run business and they take pride in how they treat people and the job they do.So if you are looking for someone to paint your home, you just found them!!

He was able to set up a time less than 48hrs later which was what I needed, before other places could even come by for a quote. Very personable and professional- and I always like when it's the owner actually doing the work and providing the value he promises. His quote included several areas aside from our home: front and back porches and sidewalk leading to the driveway! He uses a 10:1 light bleach solution that didn't ruin our beautiful color home and then we added the driveway and pavers in our backyard for a very reasonable up-charge. (Sooo worth it!)
