Excuse me, Sir!! My son and I came in together on the day we brought his boots to you. He spoke…read moreto you shortly about his boots and I gave you 4 separate Easy Spirits to glue the bottom piece back on and we spoke at length. It never occurred to me for one minute that you would charge more than $5 per shoe for 60 seconds of gluing, each. When you were done, you left me a message that we owed you $158 TOTAL!!. I called and spoke to you to tell you we'd pick up the boots, but I'd have to wait another week to pick up my 4 single Easy Spirits. I asked about the $50 each for zippers, and you got EXTREMELY huffy, loud, and RUDE saying you told my son $50 ea. and I said to you, "I said we're coming to pick up his boots tomorrow!" I am not used to being yelled at by strangers with that tone, over the phone or otherwise, and I told you so. So after we hung up, I thought about your atrocious attitude as a businessman, I told my son that for $158, he can have a new pair of boots, and I can get a new pair of Easy Spirits, which is precisely what we did the very next day! Now, are you STILL going to say you and I had no interaction? I don't care! After we didn't come to get our merchandise, you continued to call and leave messages, to say if we didn't pick them up they were going out. Well, the 4th time, your message was very apologetic saying you were trying to pay your taxes and you could charge us just $25 ea for his boot zippers. But the most outrageous thing to me was the $58 to glue that piece on the bottom of my shoes! So, it was all too little to late and I had NO intentions of ever speaking or doing business with you again! You see, we had had a zipper put in a boot before for $15 in Paducah but they are no longer there--and then, you proceeded to bad mouth our man in Paducah. Not a high point!! Deny if you like, you know that's EXACLY the way it happened!! Not stretching the truth one iota! Perhaps you can save yourself by changing your attitude in the future. Now, I know why people buy new shoes instead of fixing them.
