So, I requested an abdominoplasty (tummy tuck), and my husband agreed. By referral, we met with Dr. Peter Aldea regarding the procedure. He thoroughly explained the process, and we were happy to proceed with the surgery. My results were excellent; my stomach was flat as a washboard and lasted for many, many years; however, with life, medical procedures, weight gain, and loss, my body began to change. In March 2024, twenty-one years later, I revisited Dr. Aldea for a Lipo 360 BBL procedure consultation. He thoroughly listened to my body concerns, examined my body, and described the process. Later I received a bill for it because it wasn't covered by my insurance. No one discussed the cost or necessity beforehand, and I was forced to pay out-of-pocket for a test I didn't agree to. Poor communication and lack of transparency. Seems they prefer losing out on the next 20+ years of service opportunity plus all the Peepers glasses for this one situation. Silly Office Management. The office manager even said I should go to Walmart vision instead. Lol. I bet the doctor would be disappointed by that comment. I won't be returning.
