Always trusted but when I had an accident & my jaw locked in place, smacked me on the cheek & said you better not bite me. Two techs witnessed this and in confidence told me what they saw & disagreed with his decision. Gave me 2 scripts and pharmacy actually called to make sure what he wrote was correct. I would give -100 stars if I could. I can't believe this man isn't in jail. Incompetent and complete scam. I use an alias on Yelp so if anyone at that office reads this they won't know who I am. This "doctor" preys on parents who want the best for their child in a town where everyone is middle class. He does this primarily by saying the patient has cavities WHEN THEY DON'T. He will also do extractions WHICH SHOULD ONLY BE DONE BY AN ORAL SURGEON. He is NOT an oral surgeon. I haven't been to this location since I was a child, but I can see nothing has changed. I am now a 30yr old woman. He did 1 extraction on me, which broke in half during the process. Thankfully he was able to get the rest out. He did an extraction on my mother's friend which also broke in half, but he couldn't get the other half out. HE SENT HER HOME WITH HALF OF A TOOTH IN HER MOUTH. Who the hell does that? Ever since him and his ex-wife got a divorce years ago is when he started assigning non-existent cavities to his patients and apparently he hasn't stopped since. He's getting away with it. I have 8 mercury fillings in my mouth placed by this criminal. The last time I was at this location, I was in my early teens. He said I had 4 cavities. He said my brother had 9. Mind you, we always took good care of our teeth and had yearly cleanings. My mother took me and my brother to a different location. The other location said I had 1 and my brother had NONE. Big difference from 4 and f*cking 9. I can only imagine how many fillings in my teeth were even actually required. Now, in my adult life, I have to spend thousands to get these mercury fillings replaced with safe material. At a different, reputable location, of course. Do yourself a favor and don't go here. Do others a favor and encourage them to not go here. read more

Dr Ostromecky is an excellent dentist who has been able to see me multiple times on very short notice. His staff is excellent; professional & friendly. He works efficiently & relatively painlessly, with little banter & zero up-selling. He has performed six fillings, two extractions, & root canal with crown on me personally. I won't explain all the complaints I have with Dr Osteromecky . He told me I needed $3500 worth of work . He wasn't even finished with the $3500 worth of work and he told me I needed another $2300 worth of work. Another time he drilled off a crown , removed a post in the tooth I had a root canal in ,and put in another post and a new crown on that tooth . It was work I didn't need . Another dentist, Dr Page in his office told me I needed a root canal and she drilled a big hole in my tooth and sent me home . On my way out I asked her when she was going to finish the root canal and she told me she didn't do root canals Osteromecky would finish it . I went to another dentist and Dr C told me I didn't need a root canal . I'm 74 years old and he is one of the worst dentists I've ever gone to. I could go on and on but you get the point . If your unsure always get a second opinion you can save a lot of money read more

Despite relatively friendly dental hygienist unfortunately they booked me appointments and then had to reschedule due to snow storms during the winter. They rescheduled the dates and never told me and then counted it as a no call no show cancellation. When I had to call to reschedule they rescheduled one appointment and then I had to make a follow up appointment. When I called to schedule a follow up appointment they refused to schedule it and said that I had three cancellations and that I would have to find a new dentist they would not treat me anymore. After that it took me more than five weeks to get them to send x-rays to my new dentist office so that I could schedule an appointment with the new dentist office. They were rude and unprofessional on the phone as well as very slow in sending an email with the x-rays in it which should've taken less than five minutes not five weeks... The doctor is rude and cold, does seem to know his stuff. read more

Seemed like a great place when I was there for my few visits. Had some great cleanings done by the hygienists. The only issue I had when I was there was that they booked me an appointment without telling me and then charged me for not showing up. I had to switch dentists when I moved cities. When I left Ostromecky I had atleast 3 cavities in my mouth that he said I needed filled. My new dentist cleaned my teeth, said I had no cavities to fill and sent me on my way. I was shocked. Ostromecky made it seem like my teeth were terrible, and this new dentist said my teeth look great. I got a 2nd opinion, who also said I had no cavities.... Ostromecky sounds like a scam to me. read more

Do NOT let him treat you! I needed a new dentist. The hygienist was very friendly and did a great job cleaning my teeth. Dr. Ostremecky is incompetent in my opinion. He put in composite fillings where I had recession from brushing too hard. Then he removed an old filling that had been in my mouth for twenty years. It was a molar and was filled with silver material, which I wanted changed to a composite white. He removed the old filling, and complained about the material the dentist filled it with. It was unrecognizable to him. When he was done filling my tooth with composite, it still looked blackish. He said it was staining from the old filling and that "you need a crown". Then he handed me a pamphlet showing a $3000. fee for a crown. I left. The composite fillings on my other teeth started popping off. His answer was "you grind your teeth". In a year the pieces of filling from my molar started falling out. My mouth tasted disgusting. Then a large chunck in the center of the tooth came out. I called Dr. Ostremecky's office and was told they would x-ray it and tell me if they could extract the tooth. But he may have to recommend me to someone else after my paying over $100 just to x-ray and look at the tooth. When I told them I wasn't going to do that. The receptionist was very rude! I called Dr. Kasmanian in Southbridge, who is an oral surgeon. They got me right in. I explained how all the fillings came out from Dr. Ostremecky and he looked in my mouth, stated, you've had braces, which I had when I was a teenager. He said the points are sharp on my teeth and there is NO WAY I grind my teeth. So much for Dr. O's excuse for doing shoddy work! Dr. K did an x-ray was done and he advised that I could indeed save what was left with a crown. At this point I opted for the extraction. One injection and I felt NO pain. Dr. Kasmanian was extremely professional, knowledgeable, explained my options. If you want long-lasting fillings, and good work done, stay away from Dr. Ostremecky! read more
