Do not, I repeat do not take your vehicle to them to have recalls done. My husband took my 2021 Ford Bronco in to have recalls done. Nothing was wrong with my car. They replaced the battery which was new and blew my fuel pump up. My husband came and pick it up. He did not get out of the parking lot cause it would not stay running. So they gave him a loaner with no gas in it. Went back the next day and they told him it would be 850.00 for the fuel pump. Well if I wanted my car I had to pay it. So we paid it. I wrote several emails to them telling them that I would pay for the fuel pump and them pay me back for the labor since they blew it up. No one will even talk to me. When my husband picked it up they had left 2 sensors unplug. Thank God he is a mechanic and knew what to do. The manager would not talk to us at all. Then the girl we had to deal with Misty Salvador quit accepting my call or answering my emails. So they are the worst Ford dealers in Oklahoma. They treated us like krap. And all we done was ask for the recalls to be done. Their mechanic is no mechanic. Now my check engine light is on all because of James Hodges Ford. The manager name is Roger Ballard. Ford has lost a family of loyal Ford owners because of General Manager Roger Ballard at James Hodge Ford. I was ready to buy a Ford Explorer, had signed all of the papers, financed through Ford Credit, and had waited over a week for invoice option accessories to be received and installed on this car. The car was to be delivered to me approx 150 miles away, and Roger Ballard was going to charge me an additional $250.00 to have the car delivered on a flatbed truck. I said "NO". This was the last straw. There were ZERO negotiations on this car, due to Roger continually not willing to negotiate. In the end, I was willing to pay $1400.00 under MSRP for a new car. Even though it was being sold as a new car, it had been driven by Roger Ballard as his personal car and already had around 600 miles on the odometer. Now Roger is cancelling this deal!! He is extremely unprofessional and I question how he managed to achieve his high position within Ford. My sales person, Katie, was great however, everyone else I dealt with was horrible. Buying a new car should be a happy memory, but Roger Ballard, General Manager at James Hodge Ford in Idabel OK has stripped that from me. Not only can I honestly say, I will NEVER buy from James Hodge Ford again, but I can also honestly say I will NEVER buy another Ford car ever again!! Buyers BEWARE. Absolutely the WORST dealership I have ever dealt with. Please be careful and understand they will tell you anything. I was in an accident and lost my work truck, I was in desperate need for a truck, They took advantage of my situation and charged me over msrp. After I agreed to pay OVER msrp and booked a shipping company. I was at the bank to made the wire transfer and I got a text they sold the truck, Thank GOD! I honestly don't know if I would have got my money back! Shady group of guys. Save yourself from Roger Ballard and Hunter Bryant. I didn't even get a phone call from them! Please do not go here for service. Have had nothing but trouble. If you have the engine baffle under the engine, when you get an oil change they will leave the clips out so that it makes noises and eventually comes off while driving down the road. Have had this happen with two cars, both right after having the oil changed. Also, will mess up your tires if you have any work done on them. read more

I have a 2020 Nautilus and prior to this I had a MKX. When I bought both vehicles I was told that when you buy a Lincoln you have "The Lincoln Promise" which means that anytime you have any repairs done they will provide a loaner car while the repairs are being done. This is not correct. I have both my vehicles in for multiple issues and only 1 time out of approximately 10 times have been provided a vehicle. When I ask about a loaner there is always a lame excuse, the latest today being, since covid they cant get any inventory in so therefore they have no loaners. The last time, it was someone wrecked the loaner and they didnt have another... They clearly have a parking lot full of used and new cars but the service manager Julie says these may not be loaned out. I am extremely disappointed and frustrated and will not do any more business there. read more

We tried to buy our 1st new car from James Hodge Ford back in Oct. 2015 but were told they didn't know when the Cheaper V-6 models would be released. Idabel Ford couldn't even give us a '16 brochure as they were going through a remodel and couldn't locate them even though we went back for several months. We ended up waiting 4 months for the V-6 Mustang models till we found one in Texarkana. JHF said they couldn't beat McClarty's offer but they would match it but we'd have to wait 6-8 weeks. We ended up getting our new Mustang from Texarkana. When we needed to bring it in for work, JHF wouldn't give us a loaner car so we had to rely on others to take and pick us up from our jobs. On one occasion they had to fix the A.C. and broke the media screen while removing the dash and we had to wait a week for the replacement to come in while the car sat up there. Another time when recall work needed done. They couldn't fix the rear view camera, the brake calipers that were heating up because the problems would come and go. Also they said the clanking noise from the drive shaft when putting the car in gear was normal though it didn't do it when it was new. We assume If you buy a Ford from another dealer to expect this kind of service. If it wasn't a hours drive we would have taken it back to McClarty's but any Ford dealer should accept it. read more
