My husband and I booked a session with Catherine for our maternity photos in May 2017. We were able to meet her early in the morning on a weekend at Mare Island in Vallejo. We are not very comfortable in front of a camera but Catherine's laid-back and still professional style made us feel at ease. She made us laugh with stories and encouraged us to be silly which helped us relax and get better photos, in my opinion. I loved that she was open to pose suggestions and also helped to guide us into more flattering poses - no mama wants four chins! Our shoot experience was fantastic and I wouldn't change a thing. Less than a week after our shoot I received a selection of about 50 low-resolution, unedited photos for us to review and choose from. She gave me the option of choosing either 10 or 20 images that would be high resolution and edited. After we chose our images it took approximately one week to receive the 20 edited high-res images. To say I am pleased would be an understatement. Catherine captured the essence of a very special time in our lives and translated it into beautiful photos that we will have forever.
