Dr. Ahluwalia seems top notch. We dealt with him at the hospital on two separate occasions for two…read moredifferent procedures with no issues. The problems began in his office where his support staff seems completely inept. We do well for ourselves, and we were using a $1500/month COBRA insurance plan until my new employer's plan kicked in. Well, there was some miscommunication with the insurance, Blue Cross was telling the Dr. office that insurance was lapsed but in all actuality the COBRA wing of Blue Cross hadn't processed something correctly. Long story short, I was called out twice by two separate "secretaries" about our "financial situation" even though I had just made a $370 payment at the window because of the insurance snafu. I even got a sly dig from the the good Dr. about my finances. We've since got the insurance issue ironed out so no more financial advisors in the dr.'s office. Fast forward to today. My son (whom we were there for to begin with) has extreme nausea. Being on a drug regimen for IBS we wanted to talk to his gastro dr., instead of going to a walk in clinic, about getting something called in for this that wouldn't interfere with anything he has prescribed. Made that call at 9am. Called back at 1:30pm to have the nurse telling me that he didn't need antibiotics. So after explaining to the nurse that is NOT what I called in for, I was all but called a liar by the idiot operating the phones that day. I'm good about letting things roll off of my back but as far as how we've been treated in this office on several occasions given the amount of $$$ I know they're hitting my insurance for, I would expect far better than this from a specialist. Definitely will be looking for a physician a.s.a.p.

They use a message service to provide information about your procedure and to answer questions…read more They don't respond in a timely manner. I asked the same question three days in a row with no response. The only time I spoke with someone was when I cancelled out of frustration. The only reason they have one star is due to how pleasant the person was on the phone. They definitely should get rid of the message service.
