    Started out really liking this Dr and after almost three years, I've made the hard, or not so hard…read moredecision to find a new Dr. She doesn't read results until your are there for an appointment and when given the diagnosis she's just as shocked as you. She is never on time and keeps you waiting most times at least an hour. Guess my time isn't important and hers. Tells you she will do things and doesn't follow through. Her office staff in the last year has changed and is awful, incompetent, lies about documents being faxed or completed. I wish more people would write reviews about doctors and make them accountable.

This clinic is "money hungry", at times Incompetent and has no knowledge of how to treat their customers. They have the nerves to hang up the phone on you, yell and try to make things appear to be your fault when they are the ones that screwed up your paperwork. You want a returned phone call? Good luck! You want to be in the know of your treatment? Good luck? You want to be belittled often? Then go here because they have no problem with putting you down! No need to name any names because "birds of a feather; flocks together". The need to learn to place aside their own personal biases and be more professional. Bedside manners are horrible.     I relocated from Florida to Louisiana in "2021" and was very happy to find a…read moreWelcoming experience. I required an Endocrinologist for my Type 2 Diabetes treatments. I found Ochsner Lafayette Doctor and Nurse Practitioner so I scheduled an appointment. I was seen by Nurse Practitioner who was very nice and made better treatment recommendations of which I was willing to try. They decided to review my Thyroid Medication for possible changes and would inform me. They never communicated of any changes. I later was introduced to the Doctor who ready didn't speak much then left he seemed uninterested. I was told that a staff member would explain the instructions how to proceed with new medication applications. Staff member entered showed me equipment and provided me with Pamphlet and told me to read then left. Never provided verbal instructions. I really felt horrible but was willing to follow up with the next appointment with Diabetes Education. Next appointment I met with her and found that she was very interested in learning about my eating habits and how she could assist me with any concerns. She was informed of my 1st visit concerns and brought in the Doctor to address them. The Doctor listened and stated he would speak to the Staff member then left the meeting 3 separate times indicating he had an emergency with a patient having Surgery and Left never returned. Once again uninterested. A couple of days later I was reviewing my Medications and noticed that I was had to request some refills. I called my Private Insurance Company Pharmacy to inquire about any refills they had available and was informed that I needed to contact my Endocrinologist to write New Prescriptions plus request refills as well. I called 4 individuals Doctor, Nurse Practitioner, Nurse, Diabetes Educator with no avail. I left messages for returns calls with no return call received. I went to online Ochsner Patient Portal and found that you can't send messages to them directly. Because they are not listed on the Patient Portal as part of my Care Team. "Non-Existed ". Patient Portal options available were E-Visit, Virtual Doctor Visits charging my Insurances, Scheduling Appointment. I couldn't request my refills online either. It was unable to process at this time. " Dangerous Placement ". Eventually I got my dearest friend to drive me the Clinic to address my concerns with someone directly. The receptionist told me 2x that I had to have an appointment to speak to someone about my concerns. By this time I was very upset and I informed her that concerns don't need an appointment. She then wanted me to give my explanation to her instead. Since there were several waiting Patients in the waiting area I didn't want everyone to know what I had to say. But she insisted so I put them on Blast in front of everyone there. She then decided to find me someone quickly instead. I was taken to another area inside and addressed my concerns with another Staff member who I remember speaking to by Phone. She asked other Staff members if the ever received a call from me and they responded NO. But instead stated that the Nurse called and left a message Which was clearly not true at all since I don't delete voicemail messages. I other words I was now portrait as a "Liar and Embarrassed". I offered my Cell Phone for review but she refused see my call log and voicemail for the Truth. Since I am a Senior Citizen with plenty of serious Medical Health issues I can't understand why many of us are only seen as cash cows with no value to society. It is disrespectful, inhumane, immoral and totally unacceptable. REMINDER: Individuals that have decided to engaged in the Medical Profession are sworn before God and Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ to do what is righteous for Humanity.

They told me yes they got it and they will call me later on that day or the next day. It's been a total of 4 days. Nothing from them. So I called them and the response they gave me was sorry they can't take me cause they accept insurance only. I don't have insurance but I'm willing to pay the price anyways. Anyways, I called my ENT place and they said they contacted Dr. Fontenot very recently and said he was more than happy to take me in. I called back to this place and the person was like "Oh I already shredded your order, you'll need to get your ENT place to fax it over again. OH AND the three biopsies are 700 dollars." It's like they don't want to deal with me or anything. WELL, f**k you guys too. IN SEARCH OF GOOD DOCTORS AND CARING PEOPLE! MESSAGE ME UP PLEASE.
