He said the multiple herniations in my neck were "Something everyone over 30 has. It's normal." Really? The doctor who ordered the MRI told me she felt like I needed to see a surgeon at this point because it's been 15 years of pain, and my problems are getting worse every year. I have tried everything. Literally everything to help my pain. I have spent so much money in pain management. All they did for me today was give me pain pills which I didn't want at all bc I can't even take them at work. I want it fixed. Not a bandaid. He said my extreme pain was "Headaches." Really? I know my own body and this isn't a headache or even a migraine. I wasted $100 and time off my job to be pushed off to another doctor. Yet again. I have been doing this dance from spinal to neuro, to spinal to neuro. I felt 0 sympathy or validation, like I was just another $. The only people who were nice to me were his PA, and the assistants. They were kind and actually listened. They validated my concerns. He referred me to neurology. When I asked him what they could do, he shrugged and said "I don't know, I'm not a neurologist." Don't waste your time or money.

I would recommend and encourage anyone; if you need an Orthopedic Surgeon to go to his website and look at his specialities and make the drive to one of his offices. My surgery was done at HCA Pearland Medical Center and the treatment was great and the food was like a 5 star restaurant. Life threw me a curve ball, but with Dr Stautberg's expertise made things so much easier. Thank you Dr Stautberg!

Dr. Gregory was honest and frank about possible negative effects of the delayed surgeries. Long story short, everything turned out fine! Through Dr. Gregory, I was also linked with an excellent OT hand therapist (Dr. James King, Action PT) Today on Natl. Gratitude Day, I want to express my sincere thanks for the excellent care! The Elbow surgeon at Methodist in the Medical Center Houston, declined the surgery because he only does that elbow surgery under General anesthesia. He also made sure we had an experienced anesthesiologist due to his extensive medical history. The surgery went smoothly, he had no pain, recovered quickly, and he regained full function to all of his fingers. Dr James Gregory has the compassion, experience, attention to detail, and confidence to get the job done right!
