I asked all around for skin product and service recommendations and was so happy to connect with my aesthetician, Nicole! Nicole connected with my through multiple emails before setting up a free consultation within a week time span. She was very kind, helpful and responsive. She even gave me little sample products to try at home to see how my skin would react. I got a great deal on a facial, worked it into both our schedules super easily and was very pleased with the results. My skin really cleared up for about a month, in the summer, and the product samples she provided were perfect combos for my skin. As winter came and my skin began to dread the dramatic season changes again I inquired with Nicole again who recommended new products, advice and services. Madelyn offered a clear understanding of my problem, performed a biopsy and within a week her office personnel called to report the lab results. A few days later I received a notice of a bill for the Botox which was paid for at the time of the visit. I had to call back 3 times to get this resolved. Then I received an explanation of benefits from my insurance for the Annual Exam. I have an Dermatology visit every year because I have had skin cancer and it has ALWAYS been covered. This year the EOB said I owed $175. I called Blue Cross to explain it was an annual visit and they indicated the office did not bill it that way. When I called the billing department for the office they said they are a specialty office and don't bill for annual visits, they bill as office visit and because I had one area frozen they considered that a procedure. Absolutely insane, I have areas burned off at EVERY annual visit and it is all covered, it is a skin check, at a dermatologist....and I have NEVER BEEN BILLED because annual visits are covered. But they keep coming back with lame excuses that they are a specialty doctor, yeah a dermatologist, and they don't file for annual visit. Really the worst interaction I have had with an office in a very long time. I belong to the North Brunswick Newcomers Club committee with over 500 members and I can guarantee you I will be mentioning this business at our monthly meetings and it won't be to frequent this business it will be to avoid it at all cost. What a scam.
