Since Jamba Juice is one of my favorite smoothie places, I still try to maintain the balance of appreciating its corporate standardization efficiency while resenting its soulless capitalistic extraction - the recipes deliver! By that I mean, it's the similar deliciousness I expect from this brand, with a tasty Açai smoothie and the new herd-crusted mozerrella bites a suprising accompaniment! The service was a little brusque but kind enough, especially since he was tending to the store himself (definitely hire more staff and give them a raise!)! Interesting that it was in a mall, one that presents itself as a strip mall, which does contribute to detrimental automotive-focused urban design - especially being surrounded by impervious paving and vehicular circulatory areas and parking in what should be contributing to a denser, walkable, multi-modal environment. All in all, this is a Jamba Juice you can trust. read more

Continuing the smoothie exploration, I decided to stop at the Coral Ridge Mall to check out Jamba Juice. It's a small business with a welcoming ambiance offering freshly made smoothies, fresh juices, and blended coffee. There's also a variety of bowls, quick bites, protein bars and chips. As I took a few minutes overlooking the menu, a pleasant male employee greeted me and took my order of a medium Caribbean passion smoothie (which was made with strawberry, peach, orange, and fruit juice) and a spring veggie egg bake. My order was made very quickly. I took a seat at an available table and took a sip of the smoothie. It was thick and deliciously fruity. As I unwrapped the egg bake, my senses was captivated by its sensuous aroma. It had red peppers, montamore cheese, and pieces of artichoke baked into it and it was delicious. Definitely have to visit again. There's a few more smoothie drinks I would like to try and I wouldn't mind getting that egg bake again as well. read more

If I had one word to describe the Jamba employees here on June 7, 2024, it would be compassionate. They hustling to get drinks to a long line of customers including my daughter and myself. One card machine was taking forever while another register was cash-only so another employee's solution was to call out to customers so that the crew could get their orders started. That's service! This Jamba is located inside the Coral Ridge Mall in Fort Lauderdale, FL, which offers free parking. I recommend the Orange Dream Machine. We bought two smalls for $14.96. A bit pricey, but delicious because they always use fresh ingredients. read more

My youngest sister, Heidi, took my. Husband and I to the beautifully refurbished Mai Kai for my 79th birthday!! My family moved to The area when i was 11 so we spent many special times here growing up. It was so nice to see the Mai Kai ambiance has not changed much. I did miss the surfboard bar however and some other little places that were our favorites. However, we totally enjoyed the happy hour drinks and appetizers. I usually dont drink but 2 banana daiquiris were fantastic and next time i see three in my future! My sister talked about the rum barrels but was slightly put off because they weren't being served in the original rum barrels! It seemed like she enjoyed them nonetheless! I didnt complain about my drinks because they were in very generous barware! Yum! Our evening there was memorable and we are looking forward to a repeat performance. Our server was very lovely and made our ordering pain free. We made sure we ordered the PuPu platter and my favorite Crab Rangoon. I remember i used to copy them for company that i had over but these were very good but i used to make them with crab meat and several cheeses and cream cheese. I think the recipe must have gone through a kind of reburbishment too. But you know what that means: no cooking, no cleaning, and just enjoying!! Yes, a very good time was had by all!!! We took a garden tour of the new landscaping that was installed and it was beautiful and had an easy path to follow. That is one part of the original site that i didnt appreciate when i was younger. I had a bad reaction to the white gummi smoothie today. Also kind of strange the guy who handed me the smoothie his hand was shaking as he handed me the straw. Kind of concerned what went into my drink as I remember the clear counter was covering their workspace with Jamba bags. Might be important to check on employees and cleanliness in this store. I came here after I left the gym! I'm big on health and wellness, I'm a personal trainer, a wellness coach, and a bodybuilder. So this seems like a good place, well it is a good place. Stopped by on my way out of target for a quick smoothie on a hot Florida summer afternoon. I ordered the vanilla blue sky which has unsweetened almondmilk vanilla coconutmilk bananas pineapples blue spirulina boost in it. I still am not sure what blue spirulina is, but the smoothie was very good. The flavors all make a semi sweet taste and a little tartness from the pineapple. The store was very clean and bright. I've never stepped foot into a Jamba Juice before, but I was craving something fresh, cold and quick for lunch and I had recently learned that Jamba Juice served fruit bowls. Decided to give it a shot but wasn't sure what to expect. The store was kept clean but was absolutely empty with the exception of three employees. I ordered the Acai Primo Bowl. It took quite a while for the order to be prepared, especially considering that not much else going on. There really was no sense of urgency. While I waited, one of the employees kept trying (and failing) to hit on me, which got really irritating. His co-worker even asked him to lay off - how embarrassing! I get they're young and it's "all fun and games", but they could behave more professionally. The banana used in the bowl was a far cry from fresh, with some very visible gross spots. The acai blend itself was quite tasty. The rest of the bowl tasted fresh. Would I return? Probably not, there are alternatives nearby that are local, use higher quality ingredients, and wouldn't annoy the crap out of their customers while they wait for way too long. read more

One of the first places I've gone to and actually went inside to place a order since the stay at home order was lifted. I was happy to see that they have signs up practicing social distancing. Anytime I'm in the area, I have to get myself a smoothie from Jamba Juice. It's one of my somewhat healthier guilty pleasures, at least. Thankfully, my doctor's office is near here, so anytime I have an appointment, I swing by after to get my usual Caribbean Passion (extra blended!). There is never a line - maybe it's just the time I go, but I'm always in and out of here super quickly. And this might very well be one of the cleanest smoothie joints I've ever seen - it's always absolutely spotless. Each visit here is a pleasant one: the staff greet you when you walk in, and they actually sound genuine and not doing it because they have to. If they are cleaning the doors or windows nearby, they'll even open the door for you. There's a Jamba Juice closer to my house, but the service is nowhere near as good as it always is here. I have been to this location a few times but haven't been in awhile since I am not from the area. I recently went back a couple weeks ago and was very impressed. Not sure if they added to the menu or not but the menu seemed to have more options than it did in the past, which was nice because I don't have dairy. I got the apple n greens smoothie which was delicious and super filling. It was made quickly and the staff was very nice when I asked them about smoothies that don't contain dairy. One thing though was that they handed me my sister's drink, claiming it was my drink- since they looked similar. Stopped in for an afternoon pick-me-up smoothie today. They're located in the Coral Ridge mall plaza just to the left or Target. I've had a gift card for Jamba Juice since forever so figured I'd finally use it today. Most of their smoothies have a dairy or sherbet base which I can't have but they were happy to accommodate with more fruits and made sure the smoothie stayed consistent and up to Jamba standards. All the staff was really great and friendly but the guy making the smoothies was seriously killing it. My smoothie was done within a minute of me ordering... hence the 5 stars! I was in and out and everything was seamless. This location was also very clean and looked more updated from other Jamba locations I've been to. The door itself was not unlocked until 7:20 this morning ... to me that just takes away from the reliability of the company. Those extra 15minutes either make or break my day on my way to work... take a larger franchise for example: McDonalds. Target. Sears. I was lucky enough to acquire a Jamba Juice gift card aboard Yelp's pirate cruise back during spring break. I had a hair appointment down the road and was a little early. Knowing my hairdresser runs a few minutes behind at the end of the day anyway, I knew I had some time to kill. That's when I spotted Jamba Juice and remembered the gift card in my wallet. This was my first time at Jamba Juice. Of course I've had smoothies and that sort of thing before, but my first time at this chain. I was greeted by a friendly cashier. My initial intentions were to get one of the fruit/veggie blends in an attempt to be a little bit healthy, but the Aloha Pineapple smoothie was calling my name. The smoothies come with the option to 'make it light' which I did. These apparently offer 1/3 less calories, fat, sugar, the stuff you don't want. I'm a little suspicious of how they do that exactly, but I didn't detect any taste of fake sweetener, which doesn't mean it isn't there, just that they cover it up well if it is. My smoothie was ready quickly, they call your name, kind of a Starbucks setup, and I was out the door. I'll start by saying I ordered a medium. I didn't ask to see the cup sizes beforehand and I should have, because I don't think anyone should ever drink a whole medium smoothie here. I shudder to think what the large looks like. Keep in mind smoothies aren't like soda with ice taking up space, it's literally a bucket of frozen sweetness. That being said the aloha pineapple was delicious and addicting. I may have been able to finish the whole thing had I not cut myself off. I need to see if they have a kids size or something, because I probably can't be trusted with these in the future. My first experience at Jamba Juice was a good one. The calories are listed on the menu with further details on the website so you can make informed choices. I've honestly never been much of a juice or smoothie fan because I just don't like to drink my calories, but if you consider this a refreshing snack it's probably a better choice than a handful of chips or wherever other snacks may be available at this mall. Best of all I still have a few dollars left on my gift card, so I can explore the menu a little more (and a Jamba Juice addiction will probably set in). Maybe next time I'll have the will power to do a veggie one. read more

I really like Jamba Juice. I've been here several times for their smoothies and I like that they have mixes of fruits and vegetables. My favorite drink is definitely the 'apples and greens.' This is usually my first stop at the Coral Ridge Mall. There's something about the smoothies here that make walking around that mall... well, better. I have tried some of the food they serve here. But getting oatmeal at a juice bar is just a plain weird experience. I won't be doing that again. I will stick to the juice! read more

All these years, I kept hearing about the famous Jamba Juice but never got to try it because I live in good ol' Georgia. Well, we kept seeing JJ around Fort Lauderdale so after our beach outing and lunch, we stopped by to get some dessert. Their menu was gargantuan, but I settled on the Strawberry Surf Rider with strawberry, lemon, lime and peach. I also asked for them to make it "light" (they use Splenda and low fat dairy products). I had ordered the 16 oz. size but when my name was called to pick up my order, I got the original size which is 20 oz.? I asked the guy why mine was so much bigger and he shrugged and smiled and said "it turned out that way." So I got a free upgrade, yay! My drink was very refreshing and in my opinion, not too sweet.
