Although their food is very tasty, it isn't the healthiest as it's full of heavy sauces and has MSG in it. But if you're in a hurry and just want some delicious Chinese food without all the frills, then this place is your bet! I've eaten here a handful of times. The person taking your order just wants to know your order at the till. So pick quickly from the 500 options, and have your cash ready. No messing around. Then you're given a # for eat in or take away. And take away tacks on some small charges for a container and a bag. There's plenty of seating and a toilet. Hundreds of food options. The food: Excellent! Very good tasting and a great experience. I'm always full when I leave and I've never been able to finish a plate yet. It's also extremely cheap too! I got a meal with starter for under a tenner, crazy prices. Decor: it's 'ok' inside, they're never going to win a design award but I don't think that they really want to either... Their focus seems to be on good tasting food at a good price - and that's fine by me. The only slight criticism I have which stopped me from giving 5 stars is that they use MSG in some of their sauces which gives me massive headaches and insomnia. A LOT of Chinese restaurants do this these days which is strange because in California, this is a complete no go situation. But it's seems to be the norm here in the UK unfortunately. Overall though, I can't fault this place, they're great and we really like them - great restaurant and great people :)

There always seems to be a bit of line waiting both lunchtimes and in the evenings which speaks to their products. Their cod and haddock is always cooked deliciously crispy in batter and the portions of thick chips are crazily generous. Mrs G and I typically visit once most weeks - two pieces of fish and one regular chips - even then between the two of us we only manage to eat half the chips!! Why only 4 stars Brian? Well my FAVORITE fish is Rockfish (actually a small shark) - IMO the BEST fried fish on the planet (try it you will love it). It is a rare find in the fisheries sadly - I would likely fight to give them 6 stars if they offered this too
