This is seriously THE BEST Mexican food in Coolidge, Arizona. I've been to the other location in Florence, Arizona, and both locations are FIRE! The service is fast, the food is fresh, the employees are friendly and professional. There's a drive thru, a sit down diner, and you can call your order in ahead. The diner is clean, plenty of seating, and the service is too tier. I highly recommend the carne asada fries, the Coolidge Burrito (if you like a little spice), and the supreme burrito (if you want something truly filling). Great food: I had a tamale meal, and my wife had the burrito. Both were very good and filling. Service was great, fast, and efficient. As other reviews have stated, this used to be a great place in Coolidge to eat. Today will most likely be my last. Most things have become much smaller: The plates that are not large enough for a burrito, not that the burritos are that large for the price, no napkins with the silverware, why maple syrup was on the table and I asked the waitress that question and the salsa bottles are half the size given that was the main reason I would come here to begin with. They also used to provide a side of lettuce and tomatoes with the burritos. I reviewed the entire menu and couldn't find one option for maple syrup. This morning the burrito had an awful lot to be desired. The meat tasted as if it was cooked a previous day and was burned from being reheated, the chicken tough and dry, the shrimp cold and the burrito in all was way over salted. The tortilla as always didn't taste fresh. As mentioned, the inside of the building has little to no customers and why the drive-thru has so many customers I wouldn't know or understand. I went thru the drive thru once and something dripped all over my car. No one could tell me what and believe me I was loud and pretty insistent at wanting to know what it was given it was a workday so I couldn't go home and wash it off. I neglected to mention that today was actually a special occasion given there was toilet paper in the restroom. Most times there is none and I generally try and remember to bring some given their cheap thin napkins are not a good substitute. Yes: DEFINITELY WILL NOT GO BACK!!! Can't say a lot about the food I always get the chicken tacos and they're good bang for their buck. I've tried a few other things, but the meat has been a little sketchy in each of them. To start off, I am never the guy that leaves a review unless I feel absolutely necessary! But this place is an atrocious embarrassment to my town. They have some of the highest priced food in the city of Coolidge using some of the cheapest ingredients. When not too long ago, they used to be the cheapest in town. They are ripping off their community and every other month they are raising their prices through the ceiling. And other than them having the longest wait times out of any restaurant in history, every time you call the phone number online it goes to one of multiple different locations. They have no idea what they're doing and they should probably close their doors until they figure it out. Please avoid this place if you don't want a guaranteed headache! To start with , no cars in parking lot. Ordered Cheese Quesadilla, ground beef burrito, side of refried beans. The cheese Quesadilla was just a plain cheese crisp with barely any cheese. Took the rest home, burrito was okay but not great. The refried beans,now were all rice and about a tablespoon of refried beans, which I didnt order and because it was too far to refund, I ended up with the $11.99 ,as a loss to me. Will I go back? Slowly trying all of the Mexican food Coolidge has to offer. We ordered the super nachos and fries and they were delicious! A bit of a wait but it was worth it! We inquired about this infamous bacon wrapped burrito but we're told it's better to call it in to order bc it takes 30 minutes to make! Noted! Definitely trying that next time. I'm not from this city, and I definitely did not expect to find a good breakfast place. I was a little skeptical because I thought it wasn't going to be real Mexican breakfast, but I was extremely impressed with a steak and eggs and the way it has a Mexican twist. Low priced and a lot of food!!! The food is very good. Enchiladas and tamales this time. Red sauce has a bunch of flavor and no heat. Green sauce has a little heat but lots of flavor. I am very happy to have tried jalapeños 2, food was so delicious. I love menudo and I was so satisfied with the flavor, and my husband ate pollo asado plate. Been here several times trying to give them the benefit of the doubt, but every time I've gone it's inconsistent. I've been given the wrong food, meat inside chicken burritos, egg shells inside the eggs, portions are small, and every time they do/will fix it but even after it's fixed, the food is sub-par at best. Potatoes are hard, mostly all tortilla, tastes like left over day before ingredients, the drive thru smells like garbage, flies everywhere, and most of the young ladies that take the order have a smirky attitude, act like they don't speak English, and overall it's just a bad experience. Every time. Wait times are long. There's never a manager there taking care of things. Not worth the money. The facility is run down, and I'm suspecting with the overall carelessness of the employees there's probably some health code violations going on as well. Needless to say I won't be back again. Started off with chips and salsa, chips were not stale like in some places, salsa was fresh and had some heat. To hot for the wife. Never understood why when LADIES eat something hot they fan their mouth or blow outwards like they have a burn or they are blowing on fire or something!!
