The dumplings were flavorful and perfect for sopping up the saucy goulash. I loved that this venue started out as a tavern, then a café, and finally a tavern again. Beer stills are behind the bar, and a number of cozy dining rooms connected off the bar create the perfect intro to South Tyrolean quaff & cuisine!

On the flip side, that meant that we got attentive and very fast service. I ordered the beef tacos, my partner ordered the burrito with grilled vegetables. One oddity was that you couldn't mix and match different taco filling - you had to order 2 or 3 of each. Personally I would have preferred to mix and match but not a big deal. The food came quickly and was very tasty. The tacos were balanced and well seasoned. My partner enjoyed the burrito too. We followed the food up with cocktails which were thoroughly excellent - "might be the best cocktail I ever had" according to my partner.
