This is an intimate little salon in a place where there are many…read more Hair salons are everywhere in Barry, there seems to be one on every corner, yet somehow when my mum decides she needs a trim that very day it's difficult for her to get an appointment last minute. Luckily the nice folk at catwalk could fit her in, so she headed down for a quick cut and blow dry before heading off on her holidays. I have to say, the result was not bad, and I have it on good authority that the woman who cut her hair, was chatty, friendly and competent. All in all, it cost about £30, so not bad value for money either, I personally hate having my hair cut but I think I'd be alright here, even if it was only for a trim.

I loved the service you got; the price was fantastic for the cut you received, and you always walked away with a high quality cut and you knew you would be back again. A&H Asprou are a barbershop located on Holton Road in Barry, it's just on the outskirts from the main town. You can immediately tell that it is a men's barbershop because of all the reading material there is whilst you sit and wait. You have many newspapers but also the magazine FHM. This is definitely a 'no girls allowed' zone. I'm drifting from the point now, what I want to stress about this place is the service is fantastic, you can walk in without an appointment and wait, and it's very cheap. I remember paying £8 for my last cut and it was one of the best I had. It can get busy on certain days especially the weekend, but if you are prepared to wait then you will get the best cut you deserve. A&H Asprou is an excellent barber shop where you can get a cheap and amazing hair cut along with the high level of service by the guys who work there. One of the best!

The hairdresser and salon owner got upset that my mother wanted colour put in her hair as previously discussed when making the appointment ,as she wanted to do her own hair instead. She continuously yanked my mum's hair and smacked her with the hair dryer lead in the face several times. She refused to answer questions about how to best care for coloured hair and left my mum feeling angry and both physically and mentally hurt. Do not go to Marc Jordan 2 and especially do not get your hair done by Nadine. My mother is not a fragile woman however she was reduced to tears . Neither of us would ever recommend Marc Jordan 2 and I would advise you don't go there either , Unless you like being assaulted by your hairdresser.
