On my push back, they said $3k would cover it but the rear brakes would need to be replaced soon. Called Taylor's (my usual mechanic)... told them the things the dealership said it needed. Lucas asked if he could take a look at it because he was quite certain he had replaced the brakes only 12k miles ago and told me most of the other things sounded a bit like BS upcharges. Brought the car in to Taylor's and was told it needed some work to pass inspection, but only HALF the work as the dealership said and at a total cost of less than 1/3rd of the estimate from the dealer! Taylor's is a pleasure to work with, always professional, and they don't look at every customer like they are a sucker walking in to buy them their next vacation or boat. Taylor's is one of those shops where they work hard to earn the trust of their customers.

I called the shop and they said that they priced it wrong and that was the price. She later goes on to tell me that the price she gave my son was an estimate. That is a 49.4% increase from the price my 20 year old college student was quoted, Why bother to give estimates if your off by 50%. When I challenged her on the increase she said if I wanted to get my son home safe that was the cost. Why did they not disclose the 49.4% increase in the quoted price prior to doing the repairs. She then slammed the phone and would not answer when I called back. This place is baiting and switching and if you have college students in Lewisburg PA that need their car repaired do not send them here. They prey on vulnerable young kids with out of state plates.

I have been going to this garage for at least 5 years. I trusted them fully until recently…read more Car number 1 In April of 2024, I took my car into the garage and was told I needed a new motor. I paid for the entire job UP FRONT. It took 5 months to get the car at least drivable again. It's STILL to this day not completed. There was another issue (not related to the motor) so it was put back in the garage for another 4 months (still not completed). When I started asking about the written bill (stating all work associated with the motor, motor cost, all parts put on, the mileage on the new motor, and the warranty information for the motor) I was ignored. To this day I still have NONE of this information. Car number 2 I had my car inspected the end of November 2024. Had new tires put on. Went to another establishment, McCahans Alignment (highly recommend) to have an alignment done. In two months, all four brakes were so bad, I not only needed brakes BUT rotors also. How do the brakes get that bad in 2 months that it destroys the rotors in 2 months? Also, the tire sensor light was on, and I was told I didn't need sensors it just needed to be reset. Turns out I needed 3 sensors. IF you have any warranty work done here, ASK for a copy of ALL records of the claim being actually made. This was never done for me and now the warranty is out, I have paid for much of the work to be done, and the price of the warranty when I bought the car. I have been blatantly overcharged for things. When it was brought to the attention of the garage, it was always blamed on somebody else. This garage has obviously lowered it's standards since I began going there.

I had an appointment, and they were ready for me when I arrived. They did an oil change, put on 4 new tires, and checked all of the hoses and filters. They gave me a great price, I know because I had an estimate for the same work at a shop down the street, and it was more money, and they had trouble with scheduling. The best service I could ask for, and my car was ready when they said it would be!
