It was a true pleasure to work with Jake! The whole experience felt incredibly collaborative. We started by discussing the exact placement of each piece of art. Jake took the time to talk through why a particular art placement made sense and to think carefully about exactly where each piece should go, given the context of the house. It genuinely felt like I was getting a private art lesson, and I learned so much! Once we figured out the placement of all the art, Jake was incredibly fast at getting everything onto the walls. He also took the time to swap out hardware when it made sense, which will no doubt make hanging these pieces in the future even easier. Since he left, every single person who has walked into our home has remarked on how put-together it looks. The only difference? Jake's art placement. Truly nothing else about the house changed, yet people's experience of the space is completely different. It never occurred to me to search for a professional art installer before, but with a new house and a baby on the way, I was especially motivated to get some help. I'm so glad I did. The art is actually on the walls, it went up faster and better than I ever could have managed myself, and I feel much more confident that everything is positioned in a way that shows off both the house and the art. We already have plans for a few additional gallery walls, and we know we'll be reaching out to Jake again for those projects! read more

If I could, I'd give Jake 10 stars. He recently helped me get settled in a new office space, installing, among other things, five paintings by a Haitian artist. Working with Jake was a true collaboration. I had a lot of ideas about what I wanted; he listened. He had some suggestions; I listened. Listening to one another, we achieved results that, I think, we both found very satisfying. read more

Omg! Worth his weight in GOLD!!! I had a mirror that I won at a school auction that had been taunting me sitting on my floor for the last six months. I felt like I should be able to figure out myself how to hang it, but somehow couldn't figure it out. Jake showed up and immediately knew exactly what to do and any issues to watch out for. He also hung a bunch of other things that I had been procrastinating on and my home feels so much nicer now! Super professional, super friendly, super fast!! Amazing!! LOVE!! Thank you, Jake!!! read more

We just moved into a new home and had lots of giant and awkward pieces to hang. Not only did Jake do a great job hanging everything, he also had a really good eye for design to help us find the perfect spot for each piece. Also, he charges pretty low fees compared to the alternatives. 10/10, super nice guy, would recommend. read more

Jake was awesome! He helped install my husband's birthday surprise of 3 large acryllic pieces, which was in a tough space suspended above our staircase. He was very easy to communicate with, on time, kind, and overall fun to meet and work with. He has a great eye and made sure that the positioning was perfect by taking into account the position on the wall, the railing, and the sightlines. He had all the necessary materials and the job was done before I knew it! I will definitely use him for any future installations that we need. read more

Jake is a true professional who meticulously prepared and handled every detail of our art installation with care. Alongside Addison, he was kind, patient, and incredibly efficient. Their teamwork and quality of work were exceptional. This project's environment was a challenging one on many fronts, to say I was impressed and grateful are understatements. It was a joy to work with Jake, and I highly recommend him for anyone needing a skilled and thoughtful art installer. read more

We had never used or considered art installation, but the house we recently moved into has an entryway with tall walls, and we had a variety of artwork that we wanted to hang in this space. We had a very vague idea of where we wanted it to go, but didn't have the time, tools, precision, or patience to do it ourselves. I found Jake through a Google search, and, from the moment I reached out to him, he was incredibly responsive. We set up an appointment within a couple of weeks of my initial contact (would have been sooner if my schedule had allowed). Jake helped us with everything from ideating artwork placement to color aesthetics. He worked through different options with us (including figuring out how to place the art in a way that worked with wonky sconces), weighing the pros and cons of each possible arrangement and talking through what they would convey. Once we finalized placement, he got the pictures up in no time, and worked hard to place some challenging floating frames we had purchased. It came together beautifully. His service fee was completely reasonable for the quality work he did, and I would have paid him at least double for all of the time and effort he saved us. Plus, we never would have been able to accomplish anything close to as beautiful as what he was able to do. Jake's work was incredible, but the real treat was working with such a kind, knowledgeable person. He instantly felt like a friend. We couldn't recommend him more. read more

Allison from Jake Feldman Finearts came to my home and installed a large number of paintings and prints. She did a beautiful job quickly and consulted with me on each one. I was thrilled with the work she did. These works of art will live with me every day, so it was important to have them and just the right place. I highly recommend this firm. read more

We recently moved and had some art we needed hung in our new home--some we had a sense of location/arrangement on and others not. I reached out to Jake and was shocked to hear back minutes later. Within the evening we were schedule for a few days later. Addison came by today and expertly hung two gallery walls, two framed pieces, and a larger canvas, and was able to advise us on placement of pieces we were unsure on. The price was extremely reasonable for the quality of work. We would not hesitate to reach out to Jake again. read more

Jake Feldman Fine Art Installation made my art stand out better than I ever could on my own. I worked with Addison. Placement wasn't just about finding the right spot on the wall. It was about what that placement said about the relationship of the art to the space and the occupants. Addison and I created a placement that became its own form of art. And she was very quick and professional. I recommended this service highly. read more

Jake was a pleasure to work with! He responded promptly to my emails/texts and was willing to accommodate my scheduling needs. He even started the job at 7:30 am to ensure I could make it to work on time. As far as the installation went, Jake arrived promptly and prepared to do the job. His expertise was evident by the ease with which he resolved the issue I had related to some hardware on the artwork. He was thorough, kind, patient, hard-working, and personable. Jake is clearly passionate about his work and goes the extra mile to ensure his customer is happy. Thanks for your help! I love the way my piece looks in home read more

Jake is an artist. Literally. He has a background in art and it absolutely shows. I do not have a background in art and although I have some idea of what I like and don't like, I'm sort of clueless. This is why Jake is so perfect. He basically went through my entire house and told me what to hang, where to hang, and how to hang. For our first project, I put together a series of photographs of my husband and his late father and Jake was able to put them up in a couple hours. They were perfect and my husband was so moved. A couple weeks later, Jake came over to put up mirrors, photographs, and art work. He worked away while I did some work in the kitchen and within a few hours, my house looked so much more like my home. The other nice thing about Jake is that he's a cool person. He's super friendly, easy to talk to, considerate, polite, and has an interesting background. He's a Chicago person through and through and it's fun talking to him. Finally, his rates are extremely reasonable. You will be VERY pleased with your decision to save yourself the trouble of hanging ultimately crooked photos/pictures/art, because he is worth EVERY penny. read more

Beyond fantastic. His communication is on point (said he'd contact me Monday to confirm Tuesday's appointment & did), super friendly & knowledgeable, & did a kick-ass job putting up my National Geographic Fine Art Gallery piece (about $3,500, so you know I was nervous). But as you see, it's perfect. I plan on buying more of them & Jake is the only guy who's going to touch them. Thanks buddy! read more

My project included hanging pieces as large as 70 inches on a side, with ~20 total pieces being hung or moved around my home. Jake and Addison did a tremendous job taking my ideas into account while offering their expertise and arranging the pieces in various galleries. The result looks great and extremely professional. They also fit me into their schedule quickly and were a pleasure to interact with. I would definitely use them again, and highly recommend! I have been working with Jake throughout the years and he is absolutely amazing! He has a wonderful eye for placement and will provide you recommendations/solutions if you are struggle with what to do. In my current home, he has installed 40 art pieces, with several of them being complex and a quite tricky. Jake is extremely professional - always on time, brings all his own tools, removes his shoes and wears gloves in order to not damage your piece. Most importantly he completes his jobs efficiently and with precision. He is affordable, compared to the other alternatives out there that are mediocre at best. I have always told Jake he saved me and my family from countless hours of therapy. There is a science and art for doing both small and large installations. In my humble opinion, is not a DIY project. I would highly recommend Jake for all Fine Art Installations! read more

Jake is a really incredibly detail-oriented professional with 15 years experience. You get a tremendous skill set at a value price - about 30% below the price of the other art installers that I would consider world-class. He provided not only excellent technical skills hanging multiple pieces for us but also some very straightforward design advice on how (horizontal as opposed to vertical for one mirror) and where to hang a few pieces. We felt very comfortable asking him to design the fixture to hang a 60-70 pound $10K mirror and he brought all the components for the task which he modified in his SUV after measuring the mirror. He is extremely easy to communicate with - both before and during his visit. Simply put, my father has been a full-time art dealer in NYC for 30 years and I would feel very comfortable recommending Jake to him. read more
