I wasn't able to be seen the same day, and their prices seemed a bit high to me. When I called Grace at Visalia Bodyworks, she not only scheduled me the same day, but had a great introductory rate. Grace is an obviously knowledgeable massage therapist! The pressure she used was just right, and she found all the places in which I was sore, and some I didn't even know about. I walked away pain free and feeling much more relaxed. Don't be fooled by the simple office space and the lack of scented candles, oils, and other paraphernalia that sometimes accompany massages (and probably drive up the cost as well). Grace at Visalia Bodyworks knows her stuff, is friendly, effective and more than able to help you relax.

I'm a nurse and mother of 3 little kids, so waiting 2 weeks to find answers, relief and sleep is NOT an option. Out of desperation, I googled massages and found Simply Serenity. I snagged a 30 minute massage that same day, but was truly skeptical that it would helps at all. Shawna was a GEM. She sat down and did a thorough assessment of my needs and condition, and sprinkled the assessment with recommendations for sleep positions and stretches to assist with my sleep quality and improve pain. Shawna made me feel completely comfortable, and expertly found my problem areas. I almost cried when I was able to stand and move without pain, and I finally had a good night of sleep afterwards!!! My Uncle found the table to be a little uncomfortable as laying on his stomach isn't the easiest way to breathe - but they offer a chair or a contraption similar to the ones at the mall to make accommodations which is so helpful. My husband speaks Chinese so the language isn't an issue for us, but we didn't let them know he could speak until half way through the massage... so we could determine if they were saying anything concerning haha. However, all of their massages are in a common space, so it means your clothes are kept on, which means you have to be careful about what you wear since they will massage under your shirt to get to the shoulder area. It would be nice if this place had private rooms, but that's not the case. I've also had a pretty good but also pretty basic massages here, so it depends on who you get as well. The staff are very nice and attentive though. The front door doesn't close and they use a screen, so sometimes it can be loud from street noise and/or smelly from cigarette smoke. This place is not perfect, but there are still very good things about it as well.
