Dr. Perez performed my tummy tuck procedure. During my consultation, I was advised that my results would include a thin scar, abdominal liposuction, and a well-defined belly button. Based on those expectations, I moved forward with surgery. During recovery, I noticed several concerns, including an abnormal appearance around my belly button, persistent swelling in that area with physical activity, lower abdominal fullness that did not improve, and a scar that healed thicker than expected. When I raised these concerns with Dr. Perez, I was surprised by his response. Instead of addressing the issues directly, he commented that he "should have charged more" for the procedure and advised me to wait one year before discussing any revisions. After waiting the recommended year, I returned to discuss the unresolved concerns, including the protruding skin around my belly button, discomfort and pressure during activity, incomplete contouring of the lower abdomen, and the thickened scar. At that time, my concerns were dismissed, he told me I needed to lose weight and I was told I was unreasonable for requesting revision, and no corrective options were offered--including for scar revision. Patients considering this procedure should carefully review post-operative results and ask detailed questions regarding revision policies, scar outcomes, and what support is available if results do not meet expectations. Ask if post-op massages are included or any laser treatment like IPL or C02. I would also encourage prospective patients to request clear, unobstructed NEW post-op photographs, particularly of tummy tuck scar placement and healing outcomes. I would NOT recommend this surgeon based on my experience. The customer service is extremely poor. There is little to no follow-up after the procedure--even months later. In my case, I developed a suture-related allergic reaction that lasted over six months, significantly affecting my healing process, and no proactive support or care was provided. The surgical results are very disappointing. The outcome looks as if it was performed by an inexperienced practitioner. The scarring is severe and far from what I was led to expect. My right breast appears to have had excessive tissue removed, leaving it with a noticeable indentation that resembles a hole. When I raised concerns, the doctor stated there was nothing that could be done. Additionally, the appearance of my areolas is highly irregular and unnatural, which has been distressing. I am not the type to leave a review but this time I think I should leave this review. I had a BBL on May 2023 with Dr. Peres, about 1 year ago. During the last 3 months, I started losing fat, and even though I did not lose weight at all, actually I gained weight. Now my buttock is having bumps all over because of the parts where the fat was lost, and I paid 10k for this surgery. I went to see the doctor 1 month ago and asked him how he could fix this, and they asked me to pay about 6.5k more for another surgery, which for what it seems wasn't done correctly the first time. I feel bad for everything I went through, for the money I paid and for the results I have now. I have friends who have done this surgery in Miami, for half price and after more than 2 years they still have great results. I regret choosing to do it here. read more

I recently had a upper blepharoplasty done. I wanted the extra skin removed from my upper eye. But it looks exactly the same if not worse than what it originally is . On top of that he made it so I cant even close my eyes and, he kept getting nasty telling me to tape my eyes shut. I should of went to a different doctor. Now I'm going to have to save up more money to see another doctor to actually do this right and, fix whatever he did or did not do. The 1st picture is before and the rest are afters. The one star review is a woman stating she dislikes the doctor because Dr. Perez is one to make sure you REALLY want the surgery. Lol, please don't rely on her review. I had my breast implants done by Dr. Perez over a year ago. He was relatable, sweet and so extremely kind and professional. My breasts look so completely natural and beautiful. He made me go from small B cups to double D's. I did the incision in the armpit and he just did an extremely good job - I will be going back to him for my nose haha. He has never done a 'botched' job as the review under stated (she was basing it off the way he spoke to her DURING CONSULTATION - LOL ) His consultations are free and brutally honest - he will NOT suck money out of you. I paid my breast augmentation on my credit, it was $5,000 which is VERY cheap for silicone breast implants. Dr. Perez will straight up let you know if you need or don't need a surgery, because in todays day and age, many women get cosmetic work done out of delusion. Its plain and simple. The best thing about this place was the secretary. I think she knew more than the doctor. After waiting 15 minutes for this guy, he finally seats me in his office and asks what I want done. He literally looked like he just stumbled out of a bar drunk and high. He had no energy and had to be the worst salesperson I've ever seen. When I told him I was there for a second opinion and asked if he knew the answer to my question he said "I don't know. why are you here? You look fine to me." WHAT KIND OF DOCTOR SAYS THAT? I thought he was supposed to help me achieve the look I want. Not steer me away with his lack of knowledge. I have been extremely insecure about my butt since middle school, so much that I got butt pads to wear under my jeans the day I turned 14 (I am 22 now). I knew I always wanted a BBL and I saw Dr. Perez's great reviews online. I was also referred by a family friend who is an orthopedic surgeon, so the bar was set high. I will say that Dr. Perez surpassed all of my expectations. During my consultation he said, "You don't need this surgery, why should I do this for you?" Which I was not expecting. Great Doctor!! I went to Dr. Perez for Rhinoplasty in February it was the best consult out of the '8' i had gone to. Including Farrior, Aguiar,Luria Etc. Basically the Best there is. However. Dr. Perez was the only one that was kind,Gentle, comforting,funny and confident in his work. Excellent staff and Beautiful office. I have wanted this surgery since i was very young. I can't say enough great things with my experience with Dr. Perez and his staff. After a bad accident as a young girl, I have suffered from a deviated septum and a tip that wasn't fitting. After going through 3 surgeries with another Tampa surgeon, and still not getting the results I have wanted I almost gave up hope. Plus, a 4th surgery is risky. I went to Dr. Perez for a consultation to have my nose contoured. ( I had several nose surgeries when I was younger. The doctors would rasp the "bump" on my nose but never did break it. This led to my nose looking wide at the bridge) I decided that I wanted to find a doctor that could contour my nose. A friend of mine had told me about Dr. Perez. I made an appointment for a free consultation at his new facility on Macdill in South Tampa. I was given some paperwork to fill-out and some general one page advertisements about plastic surgery. I was then brought into one of the rooms to wait for the doctor. Once in the room, I noticed that they had the examining table but no other chairs to sit and wait. The Nurse (or office manager...not sure what her title was) came in to discuss what I had wanted to get done. After a while, the doctor finally came in. I explained to him what I had wanted done....my nose contoured so it did not look wide at the bridge. I explained how I did have previous surgeries. He agreed that it did look wide but ended up telling me that I did not have enough cartilage remaining in my nose (after the previous surgeries). He said that he needed a long piece of cartilage and I did not have any left. He said that he would not touch my nose. Something seemed odd. Long piece of cartilage? I really thought they could break my nose this time and reset so it was thinner at the bridge. After the DISAPPOINTMENT OF DR. PEREZ saying that he would not touch my nose, I did some research and came across Dr. Farrior on Azeele Street. It's now 5 months after my surgery and I am extremely happy with the work that Dr. Farrior performed. He did exactly what I thought needed to be done...my nose was broken and reset and it looks great! I recently received a postcard advertisement in the mail from Dr. Perez.
