Sometimes life presents us with unexpected and challenging circumstances. During one such difficult time, I retained Ms. Salcines and her paralegal, Ms. Jailene Hernandez, and they exceeded my expectations. I have worked with Ms. Salcines on two separate occasions; however, this most recent matter was particularly delicate. From the beginning, Jailene assured me that they would be by my side every step of the way--and they truly were. I am grateful to say that my case resulted in a favorable outcome. Throughout the entire process, all of my phone calls and emails were promptly returned. My case took place during the holiday season, which can be an especially busy time, yet they remained attentive and responsive to all of my questions and concerns. During sensitive and stressful situations, it is essential to have an attorney who is not only knowledgeable but also compassionate and attentive to your needs. Ms. Salcines and her team exemplify these qualities. I have confidently recommended them to friends, who have also experienced positive outcomes. If you are seeking professional representation for real estate or divorce matters, I highly recommend Ms. Salcines and her team. read more

I had a great experience with Jacqueline! Her staff is very kind and took great care of me.

If I can give a 0 I would. She is awful. Charged 250 to insult me for 30 minutes. She didn't even read the paperwork I had given her, the presumed to state that she was ready. She did not have it in front of her during the call. This lady is a scam. read more

So, the first time I called Jacqueline (I found her on Google), I asked her for advice in my real estate transaction. I was so impressed with how quickly she replied and was willing to assist me. She said she would charge me a fixed cost of $300 to review my real estate contract and advise me accordingly. She did it promptly and provided her opinion. Next, when I needed an escrow agent, she offered her services for a fixed fee of $695, to which I immediately agreed and sent her the payment. That was on Friday. On Monday, I received an email from my buyer stating that he had backed off and would not be moving forward. I emailed Jacqueline promptly, to which she replied, 'Sorry to hear, no refund will be issued. The end of the story.' She is a professional and knows better, not her problem. I was shocked, to say the least, and furious. Like seriously? Typically, escrow agents don't even charge a dime until the transaction is closed. So, not only did she lose a customer, receive a chargeback, but she also earned a negative review. Wow, bravo Jacqueline! She has never offered to honor the fees for the next closing. And instead rudely replied to me that she has spent her time already. Even though, in all the truth she has not done anything yet. Her reply: "I think I was pretty clear on my previous email. Please review the retainer agreement. There is no refund I am willing to make as the file was opened and time spent on the contract. In addition to the title search, the lien search is not even in yet and usually runs between $250-380. Plus my time spent at 350/hr. Again there is no refund being made." read more

I put again areview about this attorney. She did never answer any if my calls She asked me to clean my tittle and to do my closing a fee of !$2500 I did send a zelle payment of 1000 and a wire of 1500 on jan 7th I tried so many time to contact her brcause i have a closing on jan 17th but she never answered me. Surprise on jan 14th I put a bad review and then i received an email from her telling me that she never received my money. I did send her the proove of wire and also my Statement and she telling me because i did a bad review she wil not assist me anymore and never refund me. On jan 14th she aggreed to assist me if I take off the review, i did it and surprise today i receive an email telling me that to answer my call she need to receive $1500 So you can tell that all that is defamatory so i will put the proove of payment cause I can see that even i tried to resolve that case you asking again money, no refund, no proove of any assistance, no call answer. Again i should look at all the review here cause it look like i am not the only client with the same issu about money and answer. Since that last email received from her on jan 14th i asked her a confirmation by email of the money she already received, to send me a contract in detail, and a confirmation that the full amount of $2500 will include all the process. Since that request i never received an answer and a refund I did start a process again that "attorney" to get my refund and to make sure that no one could me in the same bas situation that i am now with 1000$ paied , no work done and a closing that failed on jan 17th cause she never made anything YOU CAN ACCUSING ME OF DIFFAMATORY I WILL BE MORE THAN HAPPY TO PROOVE ALL THAT AT THE COURT. read more

Jacqueline A Salcines - Real Estate Law Near Me - Coral Gables, Florida

If I can give a negative rating, I would. My sister went through a horrific situation with her and she had her hostage to her fees even after she paid her for the services that she was hired for. Every motion even the most minimal request was an additional charge. So a tenant eviction cost my sister a lot more than the standard eviction charges. Stay away!!!!! read more

DO NOT USE THIS LAWYER! I warn you all who are researching a good lawyer she avoids contact after payment and provides subpar unfinished work. Context: She was supposed to provide a contract for Tuesday for a financial settlement between myself and another party. With the potential of engaging with the parties' lawyer and providing small tweaks to the proposed contract. E.g. minor negotiations. As of Monday she received a draft contract and asked me to provide any changes/edits. I promptly did and by Tuesday I had received no revised/finalized contract. It was made clear we had this time constraint and that she could make it upon taking me on. During the period of writing it, she never called me as her client who retained her. After calling with updates on the case, wishing to speak she did not call me back. Her receptionist promised days on days that she would and simply she never did! I then went with my friend IN PERSON to her law office, with a meeting time she had agreed at 2 pm with my friend, yet was too busy to meet with myself her paying client. HUGE RED FLAG. She proceeded to walk into her office/lock the door, close the blinds, and call us from inside offering a partial refund after 20 minutes of arguing and avoiding accountability for not providing the paid service. We have videos of the day and she was given lots of time to rectify the issue before, reviews such as these. As of today 5 days later she has not provided a partial refund, or a response, an appointment to issue said refund/speak, or a phone call back upon myself having phoned her office again. This is a disgrace of a lawyer, an extortionist. She has been reported to the Florida bar with witnesses present with her crimes of fraud. DON'T USE! read more

Fucking scam, took our money and does not answer calls, texts. Went to the office and no one opened the door, there were other people waiting as well claiming none of their calls were answered either. Read the other reviews, she's a scammer and a terribly irresponsible lawyer that has made me people lose a lot of money and cases because she doesn't give a shit about anyone. Update: YOU told my mother in law to go on Monday claiming the office would ve open. Why would she go without direction or appointment? Also does not explain the lack of communication, no answer or follow up on the phone whatsoever yet you have time to reply to negative reviews online. You cannot blame people for feeling scammed after prepaying for a service outside of your business and and then not answering calls the day YOU told her to pass by the office. Anyone would feel scammed. Update: Your Business on Google says you close at 5:30pm not 4pm, change it. If you leave work early the least you can do is inform your clients or put a sign on your office door. You are once again ignoring our calls and my mother in law is waiting in her car because she does not want to drive for 40 minutes for you not to be in your office. If you do not give us the service we paid for or a refund, I will turn in a Florida Bar Complaint and have you investigated. read more

I was referred to her by the Miami Dade Bar Association and she is extremely rude. Definitely doesn't know how to treat potential clients.

As others have said, Jacqueline is not responsive and seems solely interested in her $5,000 retainer fee. Once she receives the money, the calls and texts go unanswered. After literally only sending a handful of emails for our case, she had the gall to ask for more money (several thousands) to merely check on a local property in question (we're located out of state). Update: Jackie ended up having to redo everything she claimed to have done because she did it incorrectly lol (you can see her response to my review on Google). Then, I swear it felt like she manipulated me into getting into an argument with her where she proceeded to drop me as a client and keep all my money which forced me to represent myself through the rest of the case. I mean, this was a fraud case going to jury trial. Who are we kidding? What she did was disgusting. Finally, last May, more than FOUR !!! years after I initially hired her, I dropped the case because my mental health couldn't take the stress of having to file motions and communicate with my ex's hostile attorneys. I lost a potential $36k judgment because of her. Like I said before, RUN! read more

I do not recommend this office. The attorney Salcines answered me the first day, the next day I went to her office and she charged me 1543.00 dollars to provide me with her services for the house where I am living after I made the payment I was NEVER able to speak to her again, I only spoke to the assistant Jailene, I had the motion on August 1st I called to see if she as my attorney who paid for her services would speak with me about the motion we had the next day and it turns out that I could not speak to her either and they gave me the news that she was not going to represent me she had assigned me another person who supposedly told me that she was an assistant to Mrs. Jacqueline Salcines, whose assistant did not defend me in this court at all because she did not say what I had explained to her about my problem, she emphasized something else that was not what I needed to be seen by the Judge, in other words everything was a disaster, even today in the morning I called the attorney and that lady with all her titles hung up the phone on me when I told her my name and asked if it was her who was talking to me. I am leaving this writing so that please do not fall like I did, that they do not give us our money for free so that they come to scam us like this because that is what it feels like to be scammed because they do not help you and after you get your money you NEVER speak to her again they tell you that in 30 minutes they will call you back that is the motto of that office and do not expect a call because they will not give you anything back. We have to learn from these blows and when some people refer us to them, look for reviews first, which is what I did, otherwise it would not have been one more of the negative ones that are here about this Attorney Jacqueline Salcines. My name is Marlys but the account belongs to my daughter Marjorie, I have no reason to hide anything. And since you went into detail divulging my problem when it is not professional on your part, now I will speak with basis, do not pay my rent anymore because the house was confiscated by the United States government for FRAUD TO THE MEDICARE OF THIS COUNTRY and on top of that knowing it you did not defend me as it was fair that you did, on the contrary you worked for me and you sided with the plaintiff, still today, August 7, after a week of my hearing, you sent my documents that are my personal ones where there is my personal information to the person who is suing me. What happened there, lawyer, with my documents, why did they end up in the hands of someone who should not have them? I'm going to go to the bar association to complain that you closed the case and that you were not going to work with me anymore and that you sent my papers to the lady who is suing me for not paying rent on a house that does not belong to her and you did nothing to prove it by bringing her a letter from a GOVERNMENT PROSECUTOR where it says very clearly that the house belongs to the United States government, and don't come and tell me that you don't know about the letter because if you want I will upload it here too so that everyone can read it and see that you covered up and ignored a letter from a Prosecutor. read more

I made my way to this lady's office a so called "law boutique". The last thing I need is a lawyer who thinks that their office is a spa/boutique. Really, I am in need of some serious legal advice not for a mani-pedi treatment! This lady despite her well appearances can be deceiving and she has the entire office surounded by cameras and microphones as if she was the warden in a concentration camp and everyone including her employees are under surveillance. As I sat there waiting without an appointment to see her I noticed that one of her employees said to the other about the usage of a cell phone and office policies. Curious as I was I approached the young ladies and asked about the office policies regarding cell phones, as my cell phone began to ring. This young lady responded by saying that the attorney did not like the use of cell phones in her office because it interfered with the microphones that she uses to listen in on clients conversations as the wait for her. Well after that I picked up my briefcase and walk straight out of that dungeon. I said to myself how could you have employees working there and impose certain provisions upon them limiting their freedom, doesn't this woman understand that the shoulder pads from the 1980s are gone and we are to embrace technology as we know it today, but with in limits and not violating other individuals privacy. There was no notice to be seen on the door or anywhere in that office informing the public that they are being listened into and watched at all time. There are a lot of weirdos out there going through psychotic episodes and post dramatic syndrome but this lady really takes the cake....Narcissist Moved on. read more

I will just state the facts and be the judge if you are considering on hiring Jaqueline Salcines as your lawyer (I am quoting emails sent directly from her): -The first time we spoke, she told me she normally get people to pay 10 to 30% of the debt -I hired her and give her a $1500 retainer to negotiate my debt. -During 3 months I never heard anything from her, except 2 emails after I wrote her asking if everything was ok. She answered back telling me nothing happened yet. -She propose me an offer 20% less of what I owed. I refuse it, since I could have been able to negotiate something much more better by myself. This was the only proposal for debt negotiation that I received from her. -I was sued by them. Finally Jaqueline reappeared and told me and I quote "While we know that the settlement negotiations you hired us for stalled when we couldn't agree on an amount, and we can offer you a credit of $500.00 for that, the retainer for the lawsuit would be $2,500.00 up front and then we charge $250.00 per hour for the representation" -I asked her what were the $1500 for. Also asked her why she never communicate with me on those 3 months. She told me she called, but I didn't find any call from her on my caller ID. -Her answer: "I am agreeable to negotiating the debt in the lawsuit so I am keeping my word" -If I had to hire her so she could negotiate my debt during the judgment, I still don't get what were the $1500 for. -I request an itemized bill to know how was the $1500 spent. -This was her answer: "And it is deemed earned upon receipt. Meaning earned the moment you pay it". So I never received any bill or any explanation of what were the $1500 for -Also her response for posting my personal experience here and why I decided to change it and don't include any personal opinion so I won't received any more threats from her: "While we chose not to pursue them in court against you, and requested you take them down, to date you have failed and refused to do so". read more

Jacqueline Salcines took $8,500 from me and ran. More accurately, she went on vacation. When she first took my case against Gus Machado Ford she created a hope that I would see some good results come as an outcome. On our first meeting she told me that she would keep me informed so I wouldn't have to call her. There were weeks where I wondered if anything was going on. I had to cut checks for two depositions at $1,500 in addition to the amount I paid her. During my deposition she stayed quiet as the other lawyer used a tactic meant to humiliate me into dropping the suit. Then she went on summer vacation. I didn't hear from her in over a month. After I left a message she called me to recommend I drop the suit. She was my last resort as Ford Motor Company and the State of Florida had very little power to take on what was criminal behavior on part of Gus Machado Ford. When your own lawyer doesn't feel like fighting for you it's time to drop it no matter how right you are. Jacqueline Salcines is simply a horrible lawyer. PLEASE AVOID JACQUELINE SALCINES. I was referred to her by the Dade County Bar Association. That's the typical way to get in touch with a lawyer as many won't take walk-ins or specialize in your specific case. The referral costs $50. read more

Please dont get ripped off like i did. $500.00 for a letter of intent and to be completely honest there was never even proof that it was sent. I constantly emailed to figure out if there were communications at all between the two parties and she consistantly told me that she hadn't heard from them yet. I was never offered advice on any other steps to take against them with no response... not to mention i had to correct the letter of intent 3-4 times before it was even "sent" because she clearly didnt care to listen to what the problem actually was. I ended up having to handle the entire issue without her becasue she wouldnt meet with me or give me two seconds of her time. I should have been my own lawyer from the beginning because it didnt make a difference with or without her help. The florida bar reccomended Ms. Salcines to me. I should've read the yelp reviews before wasting my time trying to email this law office. Jackie told me she might be able to help her and to send her an email of contract. I am in California and didn't think that the contract was sufficient info because we have numerous emails of proof this person owes me money. I forwarded her about a 10th of the emails I have to give her detail before hopefully working on my case. She replied with rude emails back to stop forwarding her emails and another one just saying "stop." Guess she's too busy with all of the great reviews she's getting. Awful! During consulting with Jacqueline she convinced me that she would extend my foreclosure process, collects my retainer fee of $1,000 and a week later tells me it's too late. When I asked her where the case stood in court she had no straight answer!!!! I knew because I myself logged into the court website and already knew, but to test her knowledge I asked anyways. Her answer " nothing has been posted yet" LIAR-LIAR!!! Mind you this is after her making me sing a 10 page agreement where I signed my name to say I cannot ask for any type of refund. Unfortunately I would have to rate this office with one star. I opened a simple case with regards to child support and visitation schedule in early January. Both my child's father and I agreed to the terms before even hiring her to represent me. No mediation was needed. It's now August and there is still no final order signed by the judge. There seems to be no sense of urgency regarding my case and find it very upsetting that when I try to contact the office, no one seems to know what's going on. Paperwork is promised to me in a certain timeframe and it never arrives. Jacqueline herself only found time to meet and talk with me on our initial visit which was when I paid the $3,500 retainer. This office has sent me other client emails by mistake and they just forward email conversation between the opposing party instead of contacting me directly to explain the situation. What I believed to be the easiest, fastest case has taken forever. The office wasn't even aware that my final judgment wasn't signed by the judge until after I notified them. In my opinion, take your hard earned money elsewhere. After a year of saving I wish I would of been warned about this office. I hope I can help someone else make a better choice. read more
