Felt like going on a drive to somewhere I hadn't been yet in the Atlanta area. Jacobs was a pretty lengthy drive, but the photos and ratings looked very tempting. It may not look like much, being that it's just a small little building with a drive-thru lane around it, but it really is a gem. Don't pass it up if you're in the area. Well worth the drive. The food is great, but what really makes this place is the owner, Marq. He talks to every customer like he's known them for years, always has a big smile on his face, and is truly passionate about Chicago and its food scene. The Italian beef sandwich is outta control--get it dipped with all the fixin's. Beef is tender and plentiful, bread is soft and tasty, and has just the right amount of toppings (peppers are a must) that makes it a flavor bombshell when you eat it all together. Marq's recommendation was to have an Italian sausage in there as well, which I actually really enjoy; my husband prefers all beef for that softer texture but you can't go wrong either way. This is a small humble drive through with a hard-working owner who does it all; definitely give this place a try and support your local businesses. read more

Still 5 stars and updating due to reviewer faux pas! Must use correct vernacular when describing the sandwich I had the pleasure or re-encountering last week. The Italian Beef, erroneously called cheesesteak previously, was well seasoned per usual. Opted for pepper concoction on the side for my to go order, and enhanced the flavor when added later. The owner was pleasant as usual, and even stayed open later to accommodate my order. He also obliged a regular's request after noticing establishment still open. I go here for the Italian beef and Chicago style dogs and as far as I'm concerned this is the best place to get the real deal in metro ATL. I haven't tried the coffee yet but I had a smoothie and it was perfection. It's a humble str8 to the point establishment, pick up window and drive thru. Ran by one hardworking man so don't expect fast food service times. Do expect to have your Midwest comfort food craving satisfied. read more

This is a neighborhood gem. We've been passing by this place for a while now while walking our dogs and finally decided to stop for some coffee and hotdogs. The place is super small but has a cute outdoor seating area with plenty of seating. Perfect to hang out with dogs and kids. They even have a cornhole to keep you entertained while waiting on your food. It gives you a brewery vibes. One of best Chicago hotdogs in the area! But we also noticed they had a Taco Tuesday special 4 for $10 , I will have to try it out next time. I can see myself coming here regularly! read more

Wow this place is amazing! Was on my way to the cleaners and stumbled upon this place. Came for some coffee but also added a hot dog because they looked delicious! Honestly the best hotdog I've had in Georgia so far and the mocha was to die for. The owner is from Chicago and we had a lovely chat. This is seriously the best coffee in town! It's so good, it makes a workaholic like me sit still to really savor the experience. I love that Mr. Jacob's has really taken him time to craft a space that's always friendly, delicious, and reliable. There's no inside seating, but the outside area is amazing and soooo community friendly! If you live near Marietta/East Cobb you have to come try this place out. But be warned.... I am originally from Chicago . My only regret is that I am just now finding this place! This has to be the BEST Italian beef I have had since my time as a little girl in the Chi. We got 2 Chicago hot dogs (one of them as a combo so came with chips and a canned soda), 1 Italian beef sandwich, and 4 tacos (4 for $10). Chicago dogs: great snap, soft poppy seed bun, everything that's supposed to be on a Chicago dog placed neatly. Very good. I think if you're pretty hungry, you might need to get two just for yourself. Italian beef: WOW. A lot of meat, refreshing and spicy giardiniera. So moist. Very good. Good size. Tacos: Pulled chicken and raw onions on a handmade tortilla with slices of lime and green salsa. Also, really good. The owner of the establishment is very friendly and you can tell they put a lot of attention/dedication into their food. Not sure if there's indoor seating. There is plenty of outdoor seating but it was raining today so we just went through drive thru. Would definitely recommend this hidden gem. Great customer service and tasty smoothies! This location is close to my residence, so happy to have a nearby smoothie location. I found this location by using google because it's in a ducked off area. Owner is so warm and friendly and allowed me to make modifications to the smoothie. Inside of the restaurant is small but accommodating. There is a nice outdoor area as well where you can enjoy your food. I went here twice and paid almost $30.00 each visit with cash. The second time I went they were out of chips so the owner said that he would give me a deal for my order. The total was $28.00 and I gave him $30.00 cash. He literally put the money in the cash register and didn't even attempt to give me my $2.00 change back. When I told him to give me my change he laughed and gave it to me which means he deliberately tried to keep my money. Jacob is unprofessional, dishonest, and DESPERATE for money even doing this to a customer. It's the principle of how he thought that he could keep my change like, he wasn't supposed to give it back to me. I will never patronize this business again. read more

Very good Italian beef. I've lived in this area for a while and always noticed this place but had no clue they served food too. They are located right by the gym I go to. It's a cute little location. I wasn't paying attention and only realized after the fact that they added peppers on the side with a dip sauce in my bag as well (I ordered through uber eats) It was good without the peppers.
