We were ready to put her down, but saw good reviews and decided to call Mr. Teague. He is a miracle worker. She stood still for him and allowed him to trim her. He was done within minutes. This is a horse that was potentially dangerous because she would pull back, lunge forward, you name it. She is so gentle but the pain from laminitis makes her act out. He was patient, gentle, explained everything he was doing - I cannot sing his praises enough. He let our other horse, a very curious one, smell all his tools and she was very happy to have a farrier so kind. I would rate him 10 stars out of 5. Above and beyond the best farrier we have ever had over 60 years.

He's a very mediocre farrier, AT BEST. There's quite a bit of fake going on there. Ok for a shoe or…read moretrim if it isn't really important but if you want a good job on a top performance horse, there is no way he can do it. He's not very good at communication either. Don't let that 2nd generation farrier thing sway you. His father. Kirk Haspel, wasn't that good either and Cody doesn't measure up to that. He handles a horse OK if he's in a good mood. But he really isn't a horseman. He just found a job he can make some money at and does it to a minimal standard level. I keep him on my list, no higher than 3rd and he never touches my really good horses.
