I show up to the dealership (over 30 minute drive from my house) just to find out the gentlemen who I had been in contact with left the dealership for a hair cut. I was then greeted by his "partner". I gave them the keys and waited there an hour before getting any information about what they were doing with my car. The "partner" came back with my keys and a laundry list of things they said the car needed (as I had stated it was far from perfect). He then proceeded to offer me half of my asking price. Waste of time and gas. Beware. Trained weasels.

Down that stretch, there were about 2 or 3 other service stations, but finding ANY open on a Sunday afternoon would have been a miracle. I saw the owner and his companion in the front office. He was wearing shorts a white t-shirt and flip-flops, and I told them my story. Hoping he would use his "mechanic's ear", and tell me I can make it back to Rochester, I would have easily thrown him $60 for taking the time to listen. As I feared however, it was a bearing, which would have meant the wheel would have fallen off on the thruway! I asked him what he wanted to do. There was a hotel nearby, but it would have been excruciating for the little ones to stay overnight with nothing to do. I didn't have to explain that to him however, since he was more than understanding and was happy to help me out. The book rate for labor on a bearing job is about 2 hours, and the part is around $130. At $75 per hour, that's $280. He pointed us to a diner nearby where we waited. When he was finished and we settled up, I threw him an extra $80 for getting his shirt dirty on a Sunday afternoon. Great guy. Lifesaver!

About 2 years ago my partner bought a car from them and we've had nothing but problems with it since. In the first month or two he had to have a bunch of work done to it. They advertised two heated seats, only one of them works (we noticed this about a month after buying). Constant problems with the car. Buttons falling off, and one of the air vent covers fell off entirely. Brake problems less than 2 months in. The air conditioning and heating made a clicking noise inside the dashboard, again less than two months after buying. There's honestly so much that has been fixed that I can't even remember all of it. We'll never be buying from Motolla's again and urge anyone reading this to just go somewhere else. Gross neglect of what they're selling - and based on other reviews (on google) it seems like a regular occurrence! Sad to hear it as I like to support smaller businesses.
