We have come here for both the dump and recycling services. The dump side does seem a bit steep…read moreprice-wise, but we only bring things here that we can't donate, sell or recycling, so we don't use that service very often. The recycling side has always been set up efficiently with friendly staff and a clean environment. They take a wide range of items. If you're ever unsure, check their website for a full list. On our most recent visit to the recycling area we were abruptly and rudely scolded for driving a company vehicle to drop off 3 gallons of antifreeze. My husband had recently flushed the coolant in his classic car and didn't want to transport the antifreeze in his fully restored car, so he decided to bring it to the recycling center in his work truck. The woman in the hazardous waste area jumped on us as soon as we pulled up, accusing us of bringing 'business' waste and not personal waste. We assured her it was from a personal vehicle. She seemed skeptical. It was a pretty awkward transaction. Other than our most recent experience, I would recommend this central transfer and recycling center.

I go to Portland for all my non ferrous because I get paid more.but I have to figure it takes a lot of gas for my truck to go to Portland so I only do that when I have a large load of non ferrous metals and I save it until I have a truck full. I think their prices are fair for being at the coast and I will continue to take my scrap steel there because it's only 1 hour away from my house. Portland is 2 plus hours . I don't want to spend $100 on fuel for $50 of scrap

I fiercely attempt to never buy any yard stuff in wretched, never-recycled and never-decaying plastic bags. Their website is helpful showing pictures of the product; however the pricesheet was dated and inaccurate - you should expect prices to be somewhat higher. Easy to find, ample parking, go in the office and place order, drive your truck out to the pile of stuff. The unbelievably courteous loader driver told us how to position the truck, and he gently plopped my 1/2 yard of bark. We were disappointed that the 'medium bark' was extremely fine, almost dirt like. Just our luck I think. their website say you can fill a 5-gal bucket with material for $5. Might try that. I will continue to come here to be earth friendly.

She asked me if I was going to pay cash or debit, I mentioned Debit and she said there will be an additional charge of 2.5% if I used my debit card. I told her I would pay cash. I feel the company is cheating it's customers saying in their website they will be charged $33.00 until they actually get their and are hit with a Dry commingled fee of $29.00 I get that Dee.. also a Transaction fee of $14.00/Fuel surcharge fee of $7.00 and a Corp tax fee of $4.00. Very disappointed and will let my friends and social media know what a rip off the customer gets once theY pull up To the booth. Not everyone can afford these types of prices that are on Social security.
