We purchased an entire loaf of bread that was filled with ham and cheese. It was warm, gooey and only 3 euros! We walked in and were taken care of right away. Upon leaving 5 minutes later we noticed a crowd of ten persons waiting in line. We realized at that moment that everyone in the neighborhood already knew about this spot. You must stop by on your walk to Chateau Versailles. Simple, tiny, delicious bakery aka Boulanger!

Sorry we came to give you money and appreciate your products. The cappuccino was the worst cappuccino I've ever paid for in my life. I know it may sound like an exaggeration, but it was truly terrible. It was straight out of a cheap machine and served with nothing: no spoon, no sugar in a small paper cup. I couldn't taste the coffee and I had to beg for some sugar. They gave us one tiny sugar package each, I guess they were trying to save sugar for the pastries. Stick to the pastries, pass on the coffee. We threw away the two "cappuccinos". I'd still go just for their extremely good pastries and ignore the poorly trained staff.

The inviting display tempts patrons with a array of choices. How could one go wrong? My fruit tart tasted heavenly - flaky, not too sweet, a wonderful tartness from the berries. The apricot tarte wasn't too sweet and it really let the apricot flavor shine. The pistachio eclair was sweeter but not too heavy nor the frosting or cream inside grainy/sugary. The tart sweetness of raspberries on top helped brighten the pistachio cream. The choux pastry for the shell was light and airy. Their pasteis de nata was also a nice surprise. After eating many pastel de nata in Portugal earlier this year, I can genuinely say Antoinette's version is right up there with the best of them! Perfectly flakey buttery crust and a lightly sweet egg custard cream....so good!
