I wrote down the name of the brace and contacted my physiotherapist. He told me to go to Action Health Care (near Swiss Chalet) as they had a great guy for custom bracing. WOW, WOW, WOW! Complete opposite for customer service and their brace guy is phenominal! When I told him the what brace the guy at Ontario Home Health wanted to put me in, he told me with my weight and the type of job I did (I drove a tractor trailer), I'd have the brace hinge in pieces within six months. I had been into Ontario Home Health a few times previously and was never impressed with them. Serious lack of customer service and the staff doesn't smile and is not friendly. Go to Action Health Care, they are sooo much better!

They are so good that their clients followed them to their new location. When you walk in you're greeted by name. It's an old-fashioned but wonderful service that's very personal. You feel like you matter and that you're being listened to. The Pharmacist is very thorough and will point out if a prescription will counteract with your other medications, something a doctor can miss. Very happy with this store. (Note - a bad review is most likely a person confused with the Pharaplus at Adelaide & Fanshawe as many customers have left their due to very bad service).

I typically don't suffer from cracked lips. However, the corner of my mouth was dry and cracked. I needed some Vaseline. I didn't have any on me during my road trip. So, I stopped by this store. I was thinking that a small jar would be fine. The crazy thing is that the large 375 g jar was 50% off and was the same price as the smaller tub. I went with the large tub because that's how I tick. The clientelle tends to be older. There was an older woman who was paying for her purchases. The cashier was cheery and helpful towards this customer. It was refreshing. She was patient. I wasn't in a rush, so I liked witnessing the conversation between the two of them. When it was finally my turn to pay for my tub of Vaseline, the cashier thanked me for waiting. What wonderful customer service! I was pleased with my purchase and was thrilled that it was on sale. The tub is in my glove compartment, as I have the same sized tub at home. The pharmacy in this location is good, the women who does my blister packs (my medication) is amazing! She is friendly, and goes over & above to make sure that everything goes properly and to make sure you get what is needed! The rest of the pharmacy staff seem nice as well and they are always helpful. I used to love the makeup section at this location but now their is new management in beauty and it's very different. I don't feel as welcomed as before, a couple of the ladies who work in that area are nice but a few don't seem to care and never have a smile on their face, including the manager, she seems like she hates her job and it reflects her work.. it's sad that the store has gone down hill.

Their prompt attention to fulfilling my prescription and the communication when a callback is necessary for clarification makes me feel that they care about my health and well being. I have also felt that their service saves my life. They are always cheerful and professional even the ones who make the deliveries of my prescriptions. Service is the real standout here. Jeff is the owner and head pharmacist. Everyone is so helpful and pleasant. I've gone in with problems great and small and always been well advised. No hard-sell, either; more than once they've suggested a home remedy. In the modern age, this quality of service is remarkable for its rarity. Support your local retailer!
