Instead, Dr. Megan recommended a stem cell treatment, and the results have been amazing. My pain is virtually gone, and I didn't have to go through the long recovery that surgery would've required. Megan took the time to explain everything thoroughly, answered all my questions, and made me feel completely comfortable with the process. The entire team was professional, kind, and supportive from start to finish.

This practice DOES NOT appreciate and or respects veterans! If you miss 3 or more appointments, you can expect to be fired as a patient at Advanced Orthopedics & Sports Medicine. This is their office policy and they don't care if you're a struggling veteran. They have ZERO empathy and would not bend their office rules for this struggling veteran. Oh c'mon, I'm a veteran with valid reasons for missing these appointments! I missed three (3) appointments, and was literally fired as a patient! They have a policy, after 3 missed appointments no further appointments will be made or allowed. That's right, after missing 3 appointments, they told me to find a different spinal surgeon. I was extremely apologetic about missing my appointments. I informed them that I'm a psych patient through the VA. I missed orthopedic appointments because I was going through some rough times as a veteran. I made it very clear to the medical assistant (Tiffany), I missed appointments because I was at the VA Hospital, in & out as an inpatient. There are always special reasons to deviate from office policies! I should have never been fired as a patient. This situation is deplorable! Even if they broke the rules & I was called to schedule a follow up appointment, I WOULD NOT USE THIS PRACTICE AT ALL! They showed their true colors already-If you're a veteran go to Desert Orthopedists for top notch treatment! This practice, Advanced Orthopedics & Sports Medicine is a dog & pony show! The two doctors are a set of identical twins, which is also part of their show-it truly is a circus! I'm heading to Desert Orthopedists, where veterans like myself are valued patients!

In the gym area, I was told there would be someone watching over my exercises to ensure things were…read moredone properly. At the very least, someone would be available if needed. There were usually 12-16 clients working out, with often just 1 staff member on the floor. There is NO way they could keep up with what people were doing. And there was one staffer that was super annoying - singing LOUD and dancing like it wasn't a place of business. Yes, it's great to have a nice energy. But loud singing? The initial physical therapist that worked up my plan didn't check on me once in the several weeks I was there. He seemed to know what he was doing in terms of addressing my issue and setting up a plan. But after observing for a few weeks, it seems his main role is to just get people in. This the only PT place I've been to that doesn't have an actual physical therapist working along side me during each and every exercise. At TSPT, after each exercise, the client goes back to the desk, often waiting in line, to find out what the next exercise is. The staff is just reading off a card that lists the exercises. After all the hours I spent there, I did not see ONCE where a staffer went to a client to correct their form during an exercise. What are the odds that every single client is doing every single exercise correctly every single time?!?! One plus, the guy that does the ice/heat therapy is amazing. He's always busy - checking on people, or cleaning the tables, or prepping the ice/heat packs. And he is always super friendly.

Both of these therapists received their advanced graduate degrees in PT at the University of Southern California. I am more than happy to say I just finished a successful course of treatment with Jeff Dietrich for advanced degenerative changes in my lumbar back, including severe spinal canal stenosis, nerve compression, disc protrusions and bulges, and multilevel lumbar facet arthropathy. I am a late-70s female, lifelong athlete and musician who has no intention of sitting around. About Jeff Dietrich: Jeff's technical expertise and advanced knowledge of spine rehabilitation are world-class. I say this because he is the 5th physical therapist I have seen in the 7 years, and the only one who was able to use multiple approaches to solve my pain issues and relearn proper body mechanics--without steroid injections or surgery. On a personal level, he is meticulously focused on the patient's needs and observant of their personal goals. Jeff is also an excellent listener and teacher with the emotional intelligence to motivate anyone willing to commit to the consistent work of physical therapy. I am very grateful that my physician, William Rosenberg, M.D., referred me to JD for rehab. Not only is the staff friendly and efficient, but now I can again participate in the physical activities that bring me joy, without the pain. Big "thanks" to all!

From day one, she made me feel comfortable, listened to my concerns, and tailored the therapy to exactly what I needed. She not only helped me recover from my injury, but also taught me ways to manage my pain and prevent future issues. Even after I was officially cleared, I chose to keep scheduling with her because of how much better she made me feel, especially with my tight back muscles. She has an incredible way of combining professionalism with genuine care, and every appointment leaves me feeling better. 10/10 for Dr. Jessie!
