I've been to the NW/Durango location 4 times now. I've always had Jasmine as my main therapist, but this time I have Anngie. I really love and appreciate everyone there. I go so much it's like family there. Jena, Delilah, Jacob, Chris, Mark, Tyler, Bryce, Brendan, and I forgot 1 lady's name. But they all take turns coaching me. Now this is NOT a 1 on 1 place. Its never been structured like that. My insurance sends me here everytime and I'm ok with it. Some assistants are better than others-Tyler is really knowledgeable and kicks your butt, Chris and Bryce are also very knowledgeable and are ready for the ice packs at the end. Jasmine the actual pt can do dry needling and cupping. So if you need those specialized treatments be sure to ask when booking your first evaluation appointment. I love this group. They all know me and always greet me with a smile-especially Brendan! Thank you guys for taking care of me, this round! read more

Extremely disappointed with ATI Physical Therapy and their billing practices. Before I even scheduled my first appointment, I specifically asked them to verify my insurance and tell me exactly what my cost would be per visit. I was told it would be approximately $60. I intentionally waited several days for them to verify my insurance information before moving forward because I wanted to know the cost upfront. At my first visit, I was charged $65. It was $5 more than quoted, but I didn't make an issue of it. Now, approximately 25 days later, ATI is trying to charge me an ADDITIONAL $95 for that same visit. That brings the total cost of ONE physical therapy visit to $160. When I called customer service, I was told the original $65 was supposedly only a "deposit." That was NEVER explained to me. Had I been told that $65 was simply a deposit and that I could later be billed another $95, I would have never agreed to the appointment. What makes this especially frustrating is that I specifically asked for the cost BEFORE scheduling and gave them time to verify everything with my insurance. Their customer service experience only made the situation worse. Patients deserve transparency about what they are agreeing to pay. Quoting someone around $60, collecting $65 at the appointment, and then nearly a month later billing another $95 is completely unacceptable to me. I would absolutely NOT recommend ATI Physical Therapy based on my experience. If you decide to use them, I strongly recommend getting your expected TOTAL cost in writing before receiving any services. read more

Hard to quantify how negative my experience was. After dealing with a hip issue for a while, I asked my dr for a PT referral. I ended up at ATI. From our first meeting, I got a negative vibe from the care provider. I've had PT before, and I know how it should go, and this was not it. He spoke very quickly, and seemed genuinely annoyed when I asked him to slow down, and even more so when I asked questions about his recommendations. I believe in advocating for myself and getting the necessary information in order to do so. At every subsequent appointment, I just felt like a number. I was simply given a series of exercises, and left to my own devices as whoever I was working with moved on the the next patient. No one asked if I were able to do the exercises, or watched to see if my form was correct, just said if it hurt, don't do it. After two weeks I noticed zero improvement. I asked the fast talker if that was unusual. He exasperatedly said no, and they would only be concerned if my pain was worse. On I went for another two weeks. Again, no improvement. I went in at my next visit, and began my usual routine. A person I had not worked with previously casually asked how I was doing. I politely and honestly reported that I was getting frustrated with my lack of results. He said he would report that to Mr. Fast Talker. I told him that might not go great, as I had already experienced that he did not like to be questioned. He walked off to speak to Mr. Fast Talker. I saw that, as expected, he did not look happy (angry) and began to quickly stride in my direction, with the other guy behind him. As I stood there, he sternly said that if I was not able to do as instructed, and simply wanted to complain, that it wasn't going to work out for us to go further. The second guy seemed as shocked as I was. Seriously? I am not allowed to question methods that clearly are not having their intended impact? I could not get out of there fast enough. read more

I just completed 9 visits learning proper stretching techniques and core strengthening exercises to relieve my back pain. I'm so grateful to PT Ben and all of the PT Assistants who saw to it that I did everything properly. I gave this place the benefit of the doubt and stuck it out for 3 weeks, but each day I went, I felt more and more like I was not a priority every time I would visit. Don't get me wrong, the staff is very friendly and knowledgeable, but the way that the program is structured does not allow for very good one-on-one treatment. I came here for PT after having a kneecap dislocation. The first session was very good where they did an evaluation on my knee and taught me some exercises. I did those exercises religiously every day for a whole week and my knee actually felt a lot stronger. They set up a plan where I would be coming in twice a week. The problem was that I have a $50 copay each time I have to come in, per my insurance. So I would think that with paying $100/week, the staff would be more attentive to my treatment. Instead, I would go in and literally do the exercises on my own with little to no instruction. Someone would later on tell me some new exercises, but nobody really told me if I was doing them properly or even monitoring if I was doing them at all. I would do my exercises, then a few minutes later, someone would finally come up to me while I sat there just waiting for instruction. What got me to cancel the rest of my sessions was from my last visit where the only interaction that I had was the employee coming up to me asking "How would you like to take care of your copay?" As if that's all that mattered to them. Once they got the copay, they didn't need to interact with me anymore. I literally did my last session by myself and waited for something new to be added by the therapist, only for them to give me a thumbs up saying that I'm done for the day. In my perspective, I'm paying $50 each day to do exercises that I could have just done at home. They really need to change the was they do this because patients are spending a lot of money to be ignored. I almost hate myself for spending so much and should have canceled at my 3rd session. read more

So many good things I could say about the staff at ATI! Everyone was helpful, nice, and made me feel comfortable from the first appointment. My therapist was Jenna, assisted by Deliah, Jacob and Mark (#dreamteam ). After two rounds of therapy, my range of motion is significantly improved, pain levels are low, and i've moved to an at home regimen. I fell and and aggravated my torn rotator cuff. Physical therapy was recommended since I don't want surgery. This is my second time in so many years to go through physical therapy for the same problem: torn rotator cuff, so I pretty much knew the drill. The location on N. Durango/Elkhorn is the closest one to where I live so I chose to go there. What a pleasant surprise. The place was large, open airy, bright, has extra high ceilings. The staff is welcoming, and the physical therapy team is so friendly and helpful. There were computers on rolling stands, so the team can monitor the progress of everyone who comes, regardless of which station he/she is in. I'd like to single out Tyler, my assigned physical therapist. He is very empathetic, thorough and kind. He has that special touch --- firm but gentle. The first time I tried to get up from the table, I asked for help, but he insisted I try to get up on my own so that he can see how and if I can manage, and to make sure I am helping myself especially if I'm alone. But he said it in such a way that it was like we were engaged in a jovial banter. He put me through series of exercises, slow and easy during my first appointment, and then he added a few more for subsequent visits. Each visit ends with a gentle stretch to see if there is improvement. He coaxes and compliments where needed to inspire me to continue with my exercises. Tyler is a gem! Making future appointments is easy as pie, and I book them for two weeks at a time. I had foot surgery in April and then got a referral from my doc to go ahead with physical therapy. I've been going here to the Durango (Las Vegas) location since June. I've been super lucky to work with Jawaid. He is super informative on what excercises I need to be doing, why they help, adds new moves to try as well. He's great at pinpointing exactly how to get the most out of an excercise. My only bugaboo is that I wish the massage at the end was longer! Holy cow, that is totally my favorite part! But he is really knowledgeable, takes time to explain every question I ask and is just an amazing person and therapist. This place is amazing!!! I had difficulty moving and using my neck and shoulder due to an accident. From the thorough and periodic evaluation from Matt, I was able to have a clearer pathway of the exercises and calisthenics that will help me regain my strength. Day in and day out, Deliah assisted me in most of my sessions, and she was great. She remembers me by name and the routines that I am about to do, so she prepared the materials prehand. I had Alex one time as my therapist, and he was amazing. It was a very busy day, but he took the time and effort to make me feel seen and valued despite the long wait for getting the intense massage. Since it was his first time having me, he did a quick assessment and evaluated areas that I will benefit the most from the massage. Thankfully, throught few sessions of therapy and relentless help that I have received from ATI, I am able to regain some of my strength, flexibility, and ROM in my neck that I get to enjoy some of the activities again that I used to enjoy before. read more

Madelyn and her staff were very helpful with my ACL/meniscus surgery. I was typically guided to a table within 1-2 minutes of appointment time. They helped me progress from crutches/non weight bearing to weight training and light jogging in 3 months, along with me doing my part in recovery on my own time. My sessions progressively grew more intense and demanding within reason as my health and strength improved. I discharged early due to my own schedule, but Madelyn remains engaged in my progression going forward. Big thank you to the staff! read more

I came here not for an injury, but by the recommendation of a doctor I visited for chronic pain in my hips. This was my first time ever having physical therapy and I was not very pleased. The initial visit I saw a therapist that asked a lot of questions and had me do different movements in order to see my range of motion. Then we went out into the gym area and set some goals for me. He had me do different exercises to strengthen my hips. I was excited to return in a few days. They have an app that you can personalize and track your workouts at the house. My next visit I felt totally out of place. Kind of waiting around to talk to someone and not knowing what I should do. The therapists were in the back chit chatting and laughing amongst one another. For this visit and the one after I worked with assistants who were very busy with other clients and seemed frazzled. I don't feel I got a very personal treatment. Maybe because I didn't have an injury that they could monitor my progress so they felt like they could just leave me to do the exercises on my own. After 3 sessions @ 20$ a visit, I decided to not return. Funny, I was never contacted by the therapist about why I didn't return. read more

My first contact with physical therapy, for back spasm. I'm a doc, over 70, and brought high expectations. They did a good job of teaching stretching and strengthening exercises, and I'm not having pain at the moment. I was getting better anyway, so I'm not sure how much PT contributed. Most of what was taught I can take home. Several disappointments: 1. Therapists all multitask with several patients at a time in a big room. Not much individual attention, easy to feel lost. Many times I wondered if anybody knew I was there, especially when first coming in. 2. Many don't wear name badges, and only a small percentage introduce themselves the first time. I learned to introduce myself by checking patient name, giving my name, credentials, planned actions, time involved, what to expect. Not here. Nobody really was interested in what hurt, and nobody asked whether it was getting better with exercises and stretching. Time of discharge was determined by when the money ran out, not by when a therapeutic objective had been met. People are pleasant, but not especially helpful. Jacob was the only one who really taught things. There's little sense of a therapeutic encounter with professionals. Gym trainers have been much more knowledgable and focused. Would be hard to recommend this facility. read more

First time I called to set up my appointments I had to leave a message. The call was never returned. I called again the next afternoon and finally got thru. My referral was there and I have dual insurance. They had to call me back they stated. That took another day. I've been to several PT facilities over the country. I have always had my initial review with the actual physical therapist for the entire visit. Then each visit after that I still met with the therapist and met with a tech for a short time. My visit here.....I only saw the therapist for maybe a minute and a STUDENT did everything else including the initial review. I feel like I have wasted a whole week of missing pt after my surgery now that I have to get a new referral and appt going. The people were nice inside, but I would NOT recommend this facility. I should have waited a bit longer before posting this review. Unless you are paralyzed or severely injured, this place just collects your money. Initially, they provide you with guidance. You meet with the PT, and an assistant guides you through a routine. This happens like twice until you are left to your own devices. It be okay if you they set the expectation that you'd be on your own, but it took me a several sessions to figure it out. All the while, I'd just be waiting. The PT will never see you after the first visit. I inquired about exiting after a month, and he was like okay. Didn't examine me or check my progress.. just said okay. For the most part, this place is just completely hands off. It's frustrating because you never really know if you're doing things right. They may show you once or twice, but that's it. The three assistants are too busy "serving" 10 plus clients that have during your time slot. On a positive note, the staff is really friendly. As I stated before, I hate PT and this place made my hatred grow. If you have to go, go elsewhere. read more

Would've been a one star but the main therapist lady is solid. You only really spend time with those at the end of the session. Most time is spent with the people that help them. Not sure what their position or title is. They're no help. Just stand there. Only the young lady was approachable and helpful. The other two gentlemen that "help" out just stood there in front of me and every time I had a question it seemed it would bug them. Over bad experience. I stopped going. Highly suggest looking at other therapy places before committing to this one. Not sanitary at all. I would get weights all greasy and the pillows without sheets. Definitely didn't feel I was cared for. Awkward experience and it's a shame that the most important review of my life has to be a 2 star read more

I had multiple injuries and they did not understand them. I had multiple vertebrae fractures and the first day they asked me to do everything my spine surgeon specifically said not to do. They do not understand spine fractures at all. The therapist and assistants stand around talking about how they are going to party on the weekend. They did not help me at all. I tied to give them a chance but it did not get better read more

I've been going to ATI for several weeks now for issues with my back. My X-ray results turned out to be vague, and there wasn't much of anything to go with, but my back pain was severe and almost debilitating. In my first couple of sessions; they were able to pinpoint what's going on with my back, and develop a strategy to attack the problems. The whole staff has been nothing but friendly and helpful, and they've done a great job of accommodating my 2 year old daughter who's had to come with me for every session. I am about half way done with physical therapy as prescribed by my doctor. I had knee surgery done on October 7th and with the help of Madelyn, Christina, Makayla and Deven, I am getting back to where I once belonged prior to my injury. It's slow going, but I'm getting there. This group is great. They encourage you, get to know you, and will not push you to the point of pain. They are friendly, professional and truly care about your improvement. I would definitely recommend ATI, especially the Durango location. The front desk staff are friendly as well. They really have it all together and go out of their way to get you scheduled at your convenience. The rest depends on the person. If you are like me, when asked for 20 repetitions you will do 30. When put on the bicycle on level 1, you will slowly progress on your own to level 3 or better. Thank you all for helping me get better. read more

After a year and a half of rib issues that no doctor cared about I finally got a referral for PT and chose this ATI location. So glad I did!! Ed has been the biggest help in rehabilitating my weird rib injury! It's obvious he genuinely cares about his patients and wants to help them feel better. I am a Senior Citizen. I have been going for Physical Therapy for Frozen Shoulder since September 2021, every week without fail. On March 2, 2022, ATI cancelled my weekly appointment without as much as texting or calling me...I was in Henderson and had to drive over an hour to make my appointment. When I signed in on March 2 at 7060 Durango Dr, Ste 130, Las Vegas, NV 89149, employee MELISSA told me rudely " Your appointment is cancelled, go home." I said I have driven over an hour to come here - You folks did not notify me that you cancelled my appointment. MELISSA said, 'If you drove over an hour, that is on you and is not our problem.' JAWAID, a new employee, butted in and said - ' If Melissa tells you to go home, you go home and don't argue with her.' I told him ' Who asked you to interfere?' I asked for the manager. MELISSA said that the manager-MATTHEW was too busy to speak to me. I waited for half a hour and no manager came. I was extremely upset and left for home. Next day I called the customer service department and they assured me that I would get a call from the manager - MATTHEW. After a while, MATTHEW called me and basically said, that he always sides with his employees and that I had a choice of Physical Therapist places and that I should go elsewhere. I was totally shocked at this bizarre treatment of a customer!!! I will never go to ATI ever again. read more

8 weeks in and I have to give it to the staff. I find they are easy to approach and if you want to know something all you need to do is ask. No one is a mind reader here you have to actually talk to people. Addressing some of the negative reviews...for example one said the location is close but never got a call back? So get in the car, drive over and walk in and get information. Name tag? Really that's what someone else wants to focus on? Again we have s a hole beneath our nose for a reason ask questions....your name was again? Try it...it works. The last issue yes when you go here you will have discomfort, you had surgery, and injury or a car accident but you have to go in expecting to work. I see way too many people shy away once it gets uncomfortable but you won't heal or get past it if you baby it. Suck it up and do what you can, no one said you had to come in at professional level but for gods sake get better for yourself and if that doesn't work think about the one reason you want to get well and why it is so important to you. read more

ATI is a great place for rehab! Staff is friendly, therapists are wonderful! Went for my frozen shoulder where i could not raise my left arm in front of me or to the side more than 45 degrees. After 3 days of therapy they had me lifting my arm forward to about 110 degrees, side to about 90. By the end of 4 weeks, 180 above my head, n 180 to the side. If anyone needs rehab, I highly recommend ATI!! read more

Previously I had physical therapy on my hip when ED and LEAH were there and it was 5 stars all the way. BUT I just had hip replacement and sadly Ed and Leah have left and my first visit back was my last. The previous staff was very good, caring and knowledgeable but this new staff IS NOT!! I felt like my therapist Jasmine had never had a patient before. She was very inexperienced and put me in positions that I shouldn't have been put in. Positions that my Dr and hospital therapist said I should not do. Most of my questions were ignored and the ones that were answered were not answered with much confidence, it felt like she was struggling/guessing. She asked if I had brought the home exercise protocol from the hospital but I didn't know I was supposed to bring it with me. I would think as a therapist she should know what exercises should be done but she didn't seem to really know. Just a few examples of what she did without going into detail. She started by showing me how to "properly" walk with my cane, she said it was to low so she adjusted it and it was way above my hip/waist which hip level is where it should be, it was so high that my arm was put in a compromising position and if I continued I would have pulled my shoulder. Another example is she wanted me to sit on a high table and swing my leg up on the table, I asked if she had a leg lifting lift strap and it seemed like she didn't even know what it was. This is a very dangerous thing to do without proper assistance because it can cause your hip implant to come out of place as I was told by my surgeon and hospital therapist. Last example is when I was finally done she could not get my shoes back on my feet. Earlier she wanted to remove my shoes to examine my leg lengths and I told her ok but she would have to help me get them back on since I cannot bend over. She couldn't get them back on and allowed me to leave with just socks on my feet. So many things could have gone wrong!! The only positive was Millie at the front desk. She was very caring and helpful. She was terrific!! read more

You will wait around in a cold gym-like room while a PT tech tells you to do something without explaining anything and spends more time cleaning tables than instructing patients. You will not see an actual physical therapist more than a minute or so. Then you will be charged a hefty copay, at least I was for a big nothing of a therapy session. Ask your physician for a different referral. read more

An 8 day road trip across the country left me in excruciating sciatica pain. After Dr visits and meds galore I arrived at ATI, THANKFULLY!! Everyone at ATI was not only polite, but very friendly as well!! The environment is warm and welcoming. The care and attention I received soon had me on my way to comfort and I "graduated" armed with newly acquired knowledge for stretches and exercises to maintain my own wellness! 5 stars aren't enough!! I could go on and on. The entire team at the Grand Montecito location have truly gone above and beyond to ensure I'm getting the care I need. I've been a patient for about 4 months and have had two total knee replacements on the same leg within those four months. I attribute my ability to walk so soon after the second surgery to Ed, Leah, and their amazing assistants. They never let me go easy on myself, and always are pushing me in the best way...They really have become family and I know I wouldn't be anywhere close to where I am now if it wasn't for them. They front desk greets me by name every time I go, and I'm treated with nothing but respect and kindness with everyone I interact with there. Like I said, I could go on and on. The staff here is what makes this place great! This facility is still very new and is a very open space. I have been to a few PT facilities in Vegas and honestly this is probably my favorite one because of the staff. They are very welcoming and made my experience a very positive one. I went here for 2 months and they really got my knee back into tip top shape. They didn't rush me and took the time and gave me exercises that will help benefit me in the long run. I sprained my hamstring in Sept of 2017, didn"t go to my doctor for at least a week after thinking I could "heal" myself. Slowed down on my "normal" daily routine of 2 bootcamp sessions, waitressing and co-ed softball (plus Tough Mudder, Spartan and Terrain Racing) and came to the realization from my doctor that I sprained my hamstring. He prescribed me with physical therapy 2-3 times a week for at least 8 weeks. I instantly thought of Ed because I have been to him before when my ACL was torn. Called immediately and Rona informed me that my insurance would be accepted there...that was a relief. She got me in the very next day to see Ed...also a relief. I was not very hopeful on my initial visit only because I do not function well, mentally or physically when I am injured, I am a very active 48yr old. Ed reassured me that he would have a plan and that I would be back to health in a short period of time...another relief. Working with Ed, Leah, Devin, Rona and CC, all of whom had a large part in my recovery, made the process outstanding!! To go from thinking that I wouldn't recover from my injury and then to be able to do pretty much everything again was a wonderful feeling. Your body is an amazing thing and to have physical therapists that know how to facilitate the body to heal itself is amazing in itself!!! I am more than thankful, I am blessed to have ATI Physical Therapy whom I will continue (as needed) to count on to keep me healthy and happy with my active lifestyle that I care deeply about. I had rotator cuff surgery, and knee replacement this year. Both times I went to ATI Centennial Hills for rehab. Both times, I recovered quickly.
