I'm so upset to write this, I live in the valley and have sent so many people to this jeweler for their "Teton" necklace. I have spent thousands here over the years and I referred so much more. I came in today with my husband asking for them to fix a clasp on one of my simple necklaces they sold me. We were ALSO shopping for a Christmas gift for me... I explained to the gal that I was a regular and loved the store and asked about repairing the necklace. She informed me they would have to charge me 40-50 dollars to fix it and it would take 3-4 weeks. Any other regular Jeweler would fix something like that free of charge . It wasn't about the money it was the complete lack of regard for regular local customers that upset me. In the future I will take my business elsewhere. I visited Jackson, Wyoming in March and I stopped in to Jackson Hole Jewelry Company. I had actually been eyeing their Grand Teton jewelry collection online prior to my trip. When I entered the store I was welcomed warmly by all the employees working that day. I imagine that they are extremely familiar with out of town shoppers stopping in. They were non judgmental, even when I let them know that I was not planning on making a purchase that day. I just wanted to see the items in The Grand Teton collection in person. They were more than happy to show me all the pieces. They also cleaned some of my jewelry while I was looking. I let them know that my plan was to make a jewelry purchase within the next year for my wedding day. They took the time find the ring I was really interested in, in my size so I could try it on and be sure. I was so appreciative of all their help when they knew it would not equal a sale that day. I also loved everything in the collection. Fast forward 7 mo, I pulled the trigger and made my ring purchase online. The check out process online was simple and quick. My order arrived earlier than quoted in Ohio. I was so excited to get the package.
